After you set you location in TF3D, save then exit, then save and exit again. Reload the home plugin or soft reset. Your location weather should change.

hey ttran don't want u to give up on this rom .. there is a problem connecting to any network i.. i think if you can put the 3.21... radio in may fix it ... can't flash the radio cause active sync give error 608...please re-do the rom with this radio

Just a quick update from me.

The GPRS/EDGE is the only thing I can't get working. Everything else seems to function ok. Still figuring out TF but I think I like it. I lucked out as the conference has free WiFi so am still "connected". Looking forward to the new/updated biggy ROM :)

could you try and just reflash one of the other radio versions yourself and confirm that it works? I know of at least 2 floating around here somewhere , cant remember exactly where but I have done it myself before. maybe in the OT 4.0 version

Ok a couple things..

First off, TL seems like it could be very beneficial but i have had a couple issues that I havent really seen brought up.

For starters evertime that i pull out my keyboard, to write a text, email, browser, whatever... it seems to pull up the dialer first and i have to exit from there..

Secondly I am confused as all hell as to the messaging pane. I mean i get a message and i can view it, but i cant respond through that screen. it brings me to another screen then i hit reply and it brings me to a new text message. that seems like alot of unnecessary steps to respond to a text. am i seeing this wrong?

I like the feel.. it is a bit sluggish, but is definately better than alot out there. If these two issues along with the connection issue was resolved, I think that i would use it.

You can always place the device into bootloader mode by holding on to the camera buttton and then performing a soft reset.
Do not let go of the camera button until you see the rainbow looking screen.

loaded the new one and set it up (spb) version and the fixes seemed to work fine. I think there are like 5 ways to get to the comm manager and the connection setup didnt work the first time so I turned off spb ms2 and used the network wizard and it worked just fine. I may not have waited long enough for the connection setup to activate but I thonk I did. I really like this rom ttran, I liked the look of the last comm manager (white with green sliders) but at least this one works. I downloaded the other one as well and maybe i'll try it tomorrow morning. thanks again for your efforts.

using the 6.1 light of spb i read back a few pages (at least to what i thought was the release) and i dont think this has been addressed. When you run the network wizard via settings (not through spb) everything sets up right but it changes my softkey back to contacts. spb doesnt show up in the programs or set on the right softkey. i can change the softkey myself but i figured i'd throw it out there for people who come and go into the spb environment a lot. ttran this rom works wonderfully. thats the only "problem" if you can call if that, that i have ran into.

Diamond Lite SPB cannot send a text, I went to type one up and hit send and it just sits on the same text message I setup. Also, when switching between menus sometimes the screen goes to a blank touch flo 3d background.

well it's a lite version so a bunch of removed apps. t mobile proxy works now. it's faster then before. not a WHOLE lot as in spb is still faster(but not free as stated). so far i like it better then spb though. as for the typing comment i saw. when you slide the keyboard out the blinking cursor defaults off the box so it started to dial UNLESS you tap where the cursor is supposed to be. im playing with the settings now and has anyone done this at all yet? if you change some of the timings that "sluggish" feeling goes away mostly.

as for the weather question while in throttle launcher go to settings and it should be the first tab on the top it says touchflo3d and looks like a checkmark, go to weather and type in your city. when your done reload your today and it should work.
edit: well it worked just took a couple tries for some reason.
anyone know where it checks the weather at? accuweather or weather.com or where at?

Ok, I'm struggling with the TouchFlo settings. How do I get my mail to show up??? I have 4 emails accts that get sent to my phone, but when I click on the mail icon, all I get is a blank piece of paper, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to go READ my email!! I have internet/data working, I have the weather set up, I have pictures looking at the right folder (tho still trying to figure out how to get them to display in a different format)...but I'm having trouble with the mail. Can anyone offer some tips or suggestions?? Please?

TTran here is a little feed back on the Lite Diamond SPB.

I notice you remove some stuff from SPB and fix the issue from the 1st version. Speed wise is almost the same. However look like it freezes more often than the first version. So far I encounter freezing 5 times while browsing through different menu or contacts ( I have nothing else running).

I'm reflashing it a second time to see how it run. I'll let you know how it turn out. Overall I love this rom so far :)

You should just be able to plug your phone into your computer. It will seem like it doesnt see it because it wont run activesnyc. Then try to flash as normal and it should work.

well its not to bad. there is one downside.. i think that you are only able to put it one of your accts to show up on the blank pieces of paper that you see there... the way to change it is the same way that you did with the weather but instead go to the mail tab. from that tab you are going to see the bottom 2 fields saying "activesync"... all you have to do is replace were ever it says "activesync" exactly the same way as it read... just go to start menu --> messaging... there you will see your accts and it will say the name of the acct and just type it in there verbatum... make sure with the capitalizations and spaces... i hope that you understand it...

I have it at work, I changed the version since folks were complaining that the radio version drains the battery more.

As for activesync, I know it works since I tested it on two computers before posting the rom.

As for spb mobile shell, I think my package is messed up.
My computer has been acting up so at times my packages get messed up.

Try reflashing the rom, it might have gotten corruped during the download.

I tested spb very well since I had to hand make the oem packages.

That took me some time...lol and my flashs to just test the package.

1) The roms... is it possible to create a bone-stock rom for the phone, without any shells or other programs and use .cabs to install all of the different programs and a shell, or does the shell perform best/only when cooked into the ROM?

I compare it to the "restore" disks that come with Dell/HP/Compaq computers and a Windows disk from MS. The restore disks will reformat and reinstall the Windows software, along with all of the optional software and shareware that came with the computer, but the Windows disk just installs the OS, and that's it.

2) The customization. After flashing, calibrating the screen and setting the time zone, the phone starts a customization cycle. I have heard I can do a stylus soft-reset right then, and it will not install all the other software. What will this get me? Is this the answer to question #1? Will I need to associate things like .jpg files to picture viewer manually? Any problems associating SMS/MMS? Any savings on program memory? (Like most, I want as much program memory as possible, the SD card can hold everything else.)

That sound like my micro version, also available from ivammj and pappa.

Thats going to be the last version I make since its always based off of my final roms.

I just go backwards and strip it down smaller than 51MB.

Currently most herald cooks have only been able to get about 30MB for programs due to the structure of the hardware itself.

As for storage space my good friend ivannmj has been able to get it up to 70MB.

Just hang tight and I will have the micro done next week after I finish up the WM7.

Just an update.. I ran into an issue today where dialing voice mail, entering my password, then clicking on "Hide Keypad" (wanted to turn on speaker) locked up the phone. Required a stylus poking to reset. This happened 3 times. I gave up trying to use speaker. This is with biggy.

Also in TF on the main clock screen where it says "X missed calls" can that section activate the missed call screen? I keep hitting it but it does nothing. Seems like it should take you to your missed calls.

The post about the mail piece of paper I agree with; it is confusing. ttran001 is there a good place to provide feedback to TF3d?

Otherwise... I'm still impressed and your post about the MS employee is priceless.

The only other issue I'm having, which I believe is an MS issue, is I can't run two apps at once. If I start Opera and then Agile Messenger it will close Opera. My understaning is that this is just the way the newer versions of WM deal with not enough program memory? Can someone confirm? Anyway to correct this other then removing programs to free memory?

Softkey will fix the problem with the spb shell not showing up. Just extract and copy it to your windows folder on the device and you’ll have a new application in Settings\System with which you can quickly edit the soft keys

The problem happens when you hit the red phone button and it causes the spb menu to disappear. By setting the softkey for that app, you can now make it reappear without soft reseting your phone. The address below is where you can find this softkey.

If you're not interested in the softkey, you can turn your phone off by the top button and turn it back on and it will cause the spb menu to reappear as well. I hope this helps....

First off your not being annoying, your simply stating isues your having.
Which is perfectly fine with me, this helps me fix and make my roms better.

I'm just use to using the work old timer, which to me means people that have been flashing my roms for a long time.

Not to anything else.

We can go at this two different ways.

One, remove and reinstall active synce or simply delete any existing profiles.

Or you can try and flash the original rom and see if you still have activesync.

Or try what joking posted ealier.

Let me know how it goes and thanks for your support.

The biggy version is using iContacts. And trust me when I say its a lot better.
Im having problem with my activesync and internet too.

hope there is a fix for this. Other than that its a really good ROM.

Great ROM! Flashed the biggy version this morning and am enjoying it immensely. However, after running the network wizard and setting it up for T-mobile USA I still get no data/internet connectivity. I just updated and had some questions...

1. I can't seem to get into the SPB settings, when I click on the cube button for it, I get the thinking symbol then doesn't do it. If I back out of it to the today screen and go through the normal Windows button, it doesn't show up as an installed program for me to tailor it around, am I missing something?

2. When I do back out to the today screen, my buttons at the bottom no longer give me the option to get back into teh SPB menu, so I have to lock the phone then unlock to get back into it. Before I didn't see any of these issues. I don't see where I can program what the softkey does on the Today screen anyway.

3. About half of the programs I have tried to launch from within the SPB programs listing never pull up, the "hourglass" just spins for a moment then goes back to the screen I was on before. This was working in the other version without issue, didn't know what changed.

Otherwise this is just a zippy if not a bit more then before, wifi seems to be working fine now and it is pretty damn nice. If I could get the some hints on teh above two items I'd be happy than a pig in slop.

Have noticed the same problems as above. Plus the top bar doesn't fully function with SPB running. About the only thing the will work on it is the volume. If connecting to internet and wanting to disconnect, can't hit the top bar and do it as it won't while SPB is running.

During a phone call you can go back to the keypad and enter "dial tone" numbers, but I am unable to go back to "Call Status" phone just hangs.
I use this a lot on conference calls to mute and un-mute.
Tried it with both Lite versions as well as the biggy - same thing.

TTRan, first of…. You are the man. Thank you.

I though that the both launchers (SPB Shell and TL) are cool but not as efficient and useful in everyday life like a HTC home plug-in (my opinion)

Here is what I have done so far:

1. Picked up the first build of the diamond rom v6.

2. Removed the spb shell and related files.

3. Installed the HTC home (you can find the cab on xda)

4. Made sure that the gmail account is not setup using IMAP but POP (IPAM uses way too much battery, even under-clocked)

5. Installed a black version of the dialer (like the one installed but black with numbers and letters on the dial keys)

6. I have also installed other apps via cabs to my SD.

The build plus the mods I have made listed above make this build the best so far…(for me)

Other than the wifi comm. manager reg fix (I am looking for), the rom is great.

Just wanted to share my experience……….

SPB has a backup program that will back up everything on your phone. I use the 15 day trial version while flashing the multiple roms until I decide which one I want to use

I think I need 2 wings to compare these ROMs side by side. I got frustrated w/ the TL lite version because I couldn't get email to work correctly, and it seemed a bit sluggish to me. But I really liked the weather, especially since I believe the weather is animated when you have rain/storms (is this correct?)....one of those things that would be fun to show off to people.

So for now, I went back to the SPB version, but I'm still getting my emails over & over again (they don't delete off the server, even tho my settings are set up for that to happen). And like someone said, it requires Oxio to be run frequently the phone locked up when I tried to listen to music after I had done a few other things....

Is there a .cab for just the weather part of TL? If so, I might just take that and tweak the micro version just the way I like it...when it's released.

In the meantime...my phone is going to get worn out from me flashing back & forth between ROMs....they both have strong points, and I really do like both...just trying to figure out which one will work BEST for me.

its fairly easy.... all you need to do is go to the internet tab. and you will see the default ones there.. such as IE, google, xda-develpoers, etc... on the top left there is a + button... once you click on that it will pull up the programs and what not and then just hit the right soft key for "new".. once you do that it will give you the option on the bottom stating internetlink or program... check the requested one and map out the file and name it.. press ok and bam!!! you got it :)

Oh that. I think TTran take it out of the rom along with other stuffs to free more space on the current Lite Diamond SPB version.

The first version he posted has those setting.

Edit: If you want the first version of Lite Diamond SPB, the link is on post #369.

Couple things you need to know. The CitiesDB need to be replace in order to show the list of city for weather. The wifi button in Comm Manager doesn't work right, you have to use WLAN to turn it on and off. The dial pad sometime has a black block on the top center.

I don't think it's a problem with the ROM, but rather the program. I flashed Open Touch v6.0 Biggy Throttle Launcher TouchFlo3D on to my phone two days ago when it came out and have been using it the past two with maybe 1 or 2 soft resets after i played around with the ROM a bit to figure out how to use the throttle launcher. Came across this issue today in which when i woke my phone up, I kept getting a lack of memory message. When i went to settings --> memory, the storage memory had dropped to 0.00MB free. being slightly intuitive (since i never had a problem with any of the other open touch roms), I went file exploring through the files and came across the file throttletoday.txt in \program files\throttlelauncher\ with a file size of 24.4MB. I couldn't open the file as is through total commander (kept getting some sort of error message) so i copied the file to my storage card and was able to open it from there. It appears to be some sort of log file, but it seems to have some coding glitch that's causing the log to keep getting longer. after soft reseting, i did get the lack of memory error message popping up, but after waiting the additional 5-10 seconds for the throttle launcher plugin to "initialize" the error message stopped and the file size in the \program files\throttlelauncher\ dropped to 9.3kb and memory went back to 24.93MB free.

just wondering if anyone else came across this situation.

and another small possible bug (again with throttlelauncher) from when i first flashed the phone is that if you go into the settings --> touchflo3d through the settings tab of the throttle launcher plugin and you go to the general tab and change the color set to "bright" save and exit, the plugin will have problems loading. <--I was only able to fix the problem with a hard-reset.

Ive justed flashed this to my t-mobile wing and everything works expecpt i can not connect to the web? I went to connections and set up for tmobile but it says it can not connect? Does anyone know what i need to do so that i can ceonnect to the interent?

This is how I got mine to connect to internet:
1 - Click Settings, then Connections Tab (bottom of page), then
Connections (on page) -- then "Manage Existing Connections,"
then Proxy Settings (tab at bottom) -- then put in checkmarks
for both "This network connects to the internet" AND "This network
uses a Proxy server... etc."

2 - Set the proxy server to 216.155.165.50, then click on
Advanced and tap the http (which will then let you change the
Port setting to: 216.155.165.50:8080 -- after which you tap "OK"
in the upper right, then tap Socks and do the same thing, then
tap OK again. (There's no need to fill in your user name and PW.)

For those having problem with ActiveSync
I have the same problem on the older Rom and follow this fix some member here. Go to Setting>System>USB to PC>then put in checkmarks for Enable advanced....functional.

I thought the 6.0 lite with SPB was the the last rom I'd ever flash due to how satisfied I am with it... then ttran releases 2 more!! I want to get an opinion from someone who has used both versions to see which they liked better. I am so freaking happy with 6.0 lite SPB it's ridiculous so I'd hate to reflash and reconfigure my phone again just to switch back to SPB.

I've flashed just about every rom I could find and ttran's have by far been the ones I've used longest. Thanks again for all the work you do for our benefit!!

Oh that. I think TTran take it out of the rom along with other stuffs to free more space on the current Lite Diamond SPB version.

Couple things you need to know. The CitiesDB need to be replace in order to show the list of city for weather. The wifi button in Comm Manager doesn't work right, you have to use WLAN to turn it on and off. The dial pad sometime has a black block on the top center.

Hmm...I have spb on right now, but if I remember correctly:

Set up your email account as usual. Then go your touchfo3d settings and go thru the tabs til you reach mail. In all of the settings that say "Activesync", change it to the name of your mail account (ie: "Gmail"). Be sure to type it exactly as it is in your email settings. Once you save your changes and reload your plugin, it should then show the most recent email from that account on that envelope.

Is there a fix anywhere for the data connection issue with this ROM? it most likely is within the Throttle***** code, that is the only major change. Something to do with the plug in home page.

Love the ROM ttran!!! Help us fix this, the main purpose for having this device is to be able to access emails from the road.

Update: I have the $19.99 TMO add on data plan, always had a very easy time setting up data connections, both with the Wizard and manually. After reading all the posts on this, i think it is unrelated to tzones or data plan unlimited.

I am also having issues connecting to the net. I have Tmobile's Tzones. When trying to connect, I get "Cannot Connect" ... "Dialed: Connect connect for an unknown reason. Blah blah blah"

i got the same error, i called tech suport and they told me that none of their smart phones are able to get tzones.

TTRan, first of…. You are the man. Thank you.

I though that the both launchers (SPB Shell and TL) are cool but not as efficient and useful in everyday life like a HTC home plug-in (my opinion)

Here is what I have done so far:

1. Picked up the first build of the diamond rom v6.

2. Removed the spb shell and related files.

3. Installed the HTC home (you can find the cab on xda)

4. Made sure that the gmail account is not setup using IMAP but POP (IPAM uses way too much battery, even under-clocked)

5. Installed a black version of the dialer (like the one installed but black with numbers and letters on the dial keys)

6. I have also installed other apps via cabs to my SD.


So, how did you remove the shell? I have found that while I like both the spb and TL shells, both have drawbacks, and I have a program that does not agree with either of them... so I'd like to have a touch shell as an option, not a requirement.

ok guys i may have found the problem, i am currently running the lite touchflo version but i previously had the spb version and the same problem existed in both versions(i use the proxy btw). here's the problem : after you run the network wizard and reset, you enter your proxy settings and ok everything. but your internet doesnt work right ? and when you go back to check your proxy settings it turns out the proxy setting option is gone! how the hell? now here's the solution, in that same screen at the bottom, there is an advanced tab click on it, it will take you to a screen where the the top button will be "select networks" click it. now change the top option from "My isp" to "T-Mobile data" ok out of everything and soft reset (personal preference) your internet should now work.

i hope this works for everyone. if it works for you drop a line.

I was playing with the TL version today with touchflo, and I often use transcriber for text input. I was trying to write with the screen open, and it went haywire. It would accept my input, but it would "write" about an inch to the left, and 90degrees clockwise. The transcriber would only read the letters "written" in the ink, not my input. I don't recall ever using transcriber with the screen open before, if anyone else can duplicate/eliminate a problem here that may help.

I love this ROM. I just flashed to it and it's working great. I do have a few questions tho (and I didn't seem them while skimming through here, but may have missed the answers)....

1) How do you change your city for the weather? I went into the settings, changed the city, and reloaded the plug-in but it didn't actually work.

2) Is there a way to get a device lock icon on the home screen or a way to get the plug in to revert back to the home tab after using the stock device lock? If not, is Slide2Unlock compatible with this ROM?

3) In the contacts tab, is there a way to enable some sort of link to iContact? Having to go into the programs tab to access the iContact is a tab inefficiant.

4) (I remember seeing this somewhere I think) Is there a way to either have the message detail screen of the SMS apply as reading a text or just bypass that screen all together?

5) How do I get the tabs/buttons to respond a little faster? It seems I have to hold down the icon for a sec before it registers.

6) Lastly, this is sort of unrelated to your ROM, but do you have the TMO MMS/Data server info or a link to where I can get that?

Same thing happened to me today when I was trying to flash from 6.1 SPB Lite to 6.0 TL Lite. I ended up shutting off my phone and pc and waiting a few minutes and turing them back on...once everything powered back up I was able to get active sync to connect to my pc.

If you get a 224, 260 or 270 error, the best bet is to restart your computer and the wing (soft reset) as the partnership is most likely corrupted...

ok... I slogged through all 93 pages of this thread. Read every dang one of them to make sure I didn't miss something.

I installed TL Biggie tonight and after one failed load, got it to load properly and boot. Reviewed the internet settings topics on the last few pages and it seems to be working well!!

I'll be out of town this weekend and I'll keep playing with it. I'll let you know if I run int any problems.

Indeed that would be the smart thing to do...?!

Try doing a hard-reset and if that doesn't work do a reflash by using the SD methode.
If you don't know how to...google the forum or check my previous posts. I've posted it several times.

1 - Verify that you only have one .nbh file in your RUU folder (in the Flash Center)
2 - Disconnect your phone from your computer
2 - Reboot your computer and Soft Reset your phone
3 - Connect the phone to the computer
4 - Verify that you have an ActiveSync session active
5 - Verify that your phone has at least 25% of battery life (50% is recomended)

6 - If everything clear above, flash your unit!!!

4a - If you do not have an ActiveSync session active, disconnect your phone, delete the existing Partnership and reconnect your phone. If this does not work, reinstal your ActiveSync - Vista users should reinstall the Windows Mobile Device Center...

for those getting the error 270 message, did you guys install the enablerapi.cab? it's in one of the folders of the flashcenter...and if i recall correctly, sometimes before flashing you need to install the cab and soft reset your phone.

if active sync doesn't connect when trying to flash, delete all your profiles and try to connect your phone as a "guest" rather than with your original profile.

worse comes to worse, try to flash the rom in bootloader mode, which has been commented already.

Okay so I installed the BIGGY and it took me like 10-11 times before i got it right. EVERYTHING works PERFECT. I got the full version for the SPB shell :eek:. Man this ROM kicks ass.:cool: I figured the problem is WINDOWS VISTA and not the rom. TTRAN YOU ROCK:D.

i had this issue and posted (#902) it about it yesterday...if you go to \program files\throttle launcher\ you'll find that the file throttletoday.txt is porbably a few megs (~20+). you need to copy it over to your storage card if you want to open it...since it's constantly accessed and read from so you can't open it when it's on your device memory. looks like a log file of errors or something of that sort.

if you soft reset your phone, it the log file will rewrite itself a minute into the reboot and drop the file size down to 9kb or so. I checked my file today...and it looks like the file size has already built up to 32kb. *shrug*

There are a few places you need to look in to for cleaning...

1st. use total commander to clean out your \windows\startup forlder from links to spb

2nd. soft reset.

3rd. with total commander remove the \program files\ spb folder

4th. remove the launch buttons from the program menu...... \windows\start menu\programs....

That is how I cleaned it out....

I think I'm leaning towards the SPB more also, for exactly the same reason....however everytime someone posts a solution for customizing TL, I'm tempted to flash back over to see if I can get it to work for me too!!!

If you're using vista you have to make sure to connect to your device i usually do mine without setting it up in activesync, in windows xp also make sure its connected. I've had it happen few times.

I did not mean to remove mine to the contrary, once cooked I think that it is so much better... I did that with the weather and it did work... I have not tried the Mobile Shell yet... I plan on doing it tonight but my goal is to reinstal the full version - I would like to keep the current design and theme...

I know that the install overwrite the existing files. The uninstall should then remove the one you just installed... In my case, I plan to keep the theme and the layout but just install the full version, and I am not sure whether or not the install would overwrite the current setup...

Okay first off I would like to say thank you TTran for all your hard work on this superfast,superbad rom called OpenTouch 6.0 Diamond Lite ( Spb version ).
Im gonna make this one quick and painless cause its a great job on the rom.
At first glance it seems looks like its gonna be slow being that it has spb mobile shell on it ( making a very nice looking diamond look ), But low and behold it’s a very fast and stable rom. No need to overclock unless you have some Hot Sauce for your wing.
Lets get to the numbers:

Activesync.. - Works great no problems just make sure you set up the Connections Setttings first

Battery - Seems strong, and you have indicator on the first screen of spb.

Connection Settings ( Network wizard ) - Use this to set up your network settings based on your carrier, already installed in the rom so no need to do anything else.

Contacts - You have 2 options in the rom, Icontacts and also Spb contacts, both work great.

Calender - Have all the important stuff right at a touch of the screen.

Camera - Works great, no issues.

Dial pad - looks good, very simple and diamond like… easy to use and while incall the interface looks great.

Messaging - works great out the box, threaded sms works, MMS WORKS - NO HACK NEEDED.

Bluetooth - Works great, easy to ocnnect to device.

Weather - Works, great display for it on spb shell ( configure the weather by installing the weather cities database or install spb weather and it will carry the settings over to spb shell ).

WiFi - Not tested ( I don’t use ).

Internet - works enough said.

Games - bubble breaker and solitare ( basic cause it’s the lite version )

Office - No office ( Lite Version )

Internet Sharing - ( not Tested - I have total internet )

Media Player - Windows Media Player - Nice Skin

Overall ----
Great work Ttran even though it has Spb mobile shell on it, still good work. Fast rom no need to overclock, no bugs that I found so far ( the little stuff was easy to fix - like the weather was easy ).
Config the buttons on the device to what you want with no problem. Even though im testing this rom I might leave it on my wing for a few days cause its so fast. But have to move on to testing the Throttle Launcher Version.

Will update review but its late.

My activesync is working great for syncing my email server, however it is not syncing with my desktop like the others have been. I get an error code of:

Can someone here help me out, I have been reading through the forums and everything, but no one seems to be having the problem that i am having.

My activesync is working great for syncing my email server, however it is not syncing with my desktop like the others have been. I get an error code of:

Did you try reinstalling activesync as well? I had an issue before with trying to snyc a large number of contacts like yourself and that fixed my issue.

Well, I have gotten my contacts on my phone, now I can't get SMS messages. I can send them however.

Now I have also found that I cannot send nor recieve MMS messages, and my wife has the same issue. Anyone have any thoughts there?

As of this posting I’ve not found a solution to the data connection failing with biggy. Can you please cook up a “lite pro” version that includes all the wm6 mobile apps? I’ll use that version until a fix for biggy is posted. Otherwise I need to flash the t-mobile ROM which I’m not looking forward to. Thanks

You might want to try ivanmmj's super clean JustMe rom. It come with htc home and ms office and bunch of other apps and still has about 25 MB program and 51 MB storage available. It uses the same xip as ot6.0 so it is just as fast.

which papa rom did you try? if you tried the rc5 series it flashes completely, just at the end when it says complete and thats it on the screen ( JUST THE WORD COMPLETE ) just tap the screen, he made the leters black for " tap screen to begin customization ".

Ttrans open touch 6 diamond lite spb works great, flashed it last night and ran it for a few hours to test it ( didnt try the 6.1 version though. The rom is very fast, and really the only change you have to do is set up the weather which can be done by adding the weathercities.bat file that another poster added earlier, or install spb weather - and then the weather works flawlessly.

I sure hope so. That was my previous ROM before trying V6 versions and keeping 6.1 Lite SPB, and definitely would love to have 6.x UL. 5.0 UL was simply awesome.

I have a small issue. Not sure if it's related to the rom. After I installed Diamond Lite SPB, the audio is real low. When I make a call I could barely hear the phone ringing. Also sometimes it dials but it doesn't ring at all. I'm going to flas the radio to the newer version and report back.

and I still can not get activesync to work via bluetooth. It works fine via USB...but when I try to do bluetooth I get a message telling me "Cannot find an existing Bluetooth partnership with a PC that supports Activesync." Even though I have both the PC and the phone paired and both are showing each other.

I fixed my connection issue. I have the internet, MMS, and the weather tab working fine now. I was also able to switch locations from Dallas to Tampa after I fixed my connection issue, which I figured would happen. 3) How do I bypass the "message detail" page?

4) Whenever I slide open my phone and start responding or typing a new text message, my first few key strokes always start to search for a contact or number instead of actually typing my message. Is this a bug or is there any way to fix this?

If not, I can deal with it, but I assume it's a screen sensitivity issue since I sometimes have to touch the icons a few times before it recognizes the action.

I'm running 6.1 spb diamond lite and everything works fine except for the stereo bluetooth. I hooked it up to my bluetooth speakers at work and there is a horrible disortion in the background of the music. Not sure what is causing it. My friend is using 5.0 diamond lite and it doesn't to that. It only started when I flashed to the new rom.

Does the radio version control the bluetooth as well? Anyone else having this issue?

When I go into the TL settings and change the size, to like 270 or so, I can SEE the BS indicator but then the names of the bottom row icons in the apps tab of TouchFLO3D vanish. I can't change the size of the whole TL app either can I? If so, please lemme know how to do it.

2) I tried S2UL and ran into another odd issue. When I lock my phone (by tapping my power button since I have it set to kick in when the screen goes blank) one can only assume it will work when I turn the screen on. Instead, it flashed the S2UL screen and then TL seems to override it and the screen unlocks itself. It does look cool tho since S2UL fades out as TL fades in lol... but I digress, it still isn't functioning properly.

3) The text message tab of TouchFLO3D gives you the overview of the messages. When you click the message instead of bringing up the inbox like I would prefer it to do, it brings up the "message detail" screen. I want to bypass that screen and go directly into my inbox.

4) I still have that issue after I soft reset. It's odd, but it always happens. On my old ROM I would side open to my keyboard and just start typing. It would que the letters if it was still working on another action as I kept typing then catch up with me a few words later lol. I am not really looking for that (tho it would be nice), but my issue instead is that it looks for a contact everytime I slide open my keyboard and start typing.

5) It isn't the lag of the program that bothers me (from a loading sense), but more or less the fact that I have to tap the icons a few times or hold them before they register. I was wondering if there is a way to make that more responsive. (Oh, and I am super nice with my screen lol. My friend actually told me that I don't press hard enough since I barely tap my screen lol)

for BS go to settings today disable TL....then ok till back to today screen.... then tap and hold BS indicator ...till u see a menu then tap on "taskbar indicator"...cpu speed will be displayed on taskbar...then do the same again till u get the menu now u want "show rows " then uncheck "main row" .. this will hide BS but keep it running....then go to settings today and reload TL...to get your battery life to show u need quick menu ....in the options for quick menu go to "view" set it to "percent+memory" .. u can use the task manager in quick menu but remember to disable the current one ...if u choose to replace the start menu with quick menu disable enlarge menu in your registry...>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/htc/EnlargeMenu/Enable=0 now u should be golden

Well most of you might not know it but if you use Spb there is a few things to do to recover from the Today Screen:
On the Today screen, if you tap around the top status bar around the area of the time and drag your finger (or stylus) 1/2"down you can go back to the Spb Now screen. If you release it there, you will go to the Now screen if you keep your finger there, you will be able to select one of 3 Spb pages...

In addition, if you use the Spb version, got to Setting, Personal, Menu and add Spb Menu as one of the item on the Start Menu - if you use the short one, you may need to remove one of the existing entry.

Finally, I have posted in the past - about a week ago - a Cab which auto-forward the Today Screen to the Now Screen (was designed by TheDumbKid I
believe) within a few seconds...

If you install the SpbWatcher.cab (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=76007&d=1205633462), install it on the device - not the storage card, and verify that it is listed on the Today setting under items...

The Today Screen will be systematically replaced with the Now within less than 1 second whenever an application exit on it. It has to be loaded on the Today page as a plugin for the forward to be active...

you would need to install the cabfile for quickmenu...
