Hi:
I am a bit confused by the reply to the OPs question. Will Cingular WAP settings work with Cincinnati Bell Wireless? It doesn't seem like they should.
The reason I am asking is I gave my old Tilt to a friend who has Cincinnati Bell Wireless, and for some reason it won't work.
The phone is SIM unlocked (by code provided by AT&T).
It seems to get signal(with CBW SIM card), and says Cincinnati Bell on the carrier info, but if you try to place a call, it does not go through. When you place a call to the phone, there is a busy signal. The internet of course will not work, since I only have the AT&T settings in there (which is the carrier I used).
Please help, I am desperate.
Thanks!

Stupid question, so forgive me, but have you contacted CBW to question if the SIM is active or not...

To work with Cinci bell, you also need to do this:

1. Go to Start->Programs->Tools->Proxy Manager
2. Disable proxy.

It drove me nuts until I finally remembered about their "hidden proxy" which is really only needed for Cingular Video.

Cheers!

Just so you know, wap settings have nothing to do with voice calls. Voice should work without any wap settings being inputted at all.
