I want to add a 'press and hold' function to the OK button. I dug around a little and didn't quite get the answer I wanted. Mostly using 3rd party apps to automate the configuration.

Couldn't I just make a copy of the registry entry in

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Keys\

of the 40C4. Add it back in and rename it to 40C8, and alter the string value "Name" to Button4(Hold)?

I am a retard... :o

I just noticed the button assignment utility had the ability to add a "Button 4(Hold)". No need for reg editing or a 3rd party app.

Well then, if you want one, all you got to do is click on <Add buttons...>. So simple a cave man can do it. :p

Start\Settings\Personal(tab)\Buttons(icon)

In the list of buttons you can assign functions to, at the top is <Add buttons...>

Wait a minute.. I have Spb Pocket Plus installed. The "add buttons" might be a feature Pocket Plus added.

Why not just install AE Button Plus and let it handle all the buttons?

Because I don't need it. :)

I use AE Button Plus and it's great but how do you stop the AEB splash screen from popping up every so often?
