Excellant release, all my prevoius bugs fixed, fastest my touch cruise has ever been, TomTom is mega fast now, everything seems so much faster, even the internet pages loading is almost twice as fast...

-Opera 1126 of course

There is no changelog since the ROM is based on a build which PhamQuang has never used before.

It's based on latest AT&T Kaiser ROM and uses WMP skin by Aqrab and Audio Manager skin by Poorlyduck.

MMS works arcsoft mms version 5.0.31.7
Videocall works just search for Taiseer enable 3G video telephony cab
had to install flashlite and now i have the same config has i had in udk less the largemenu and for my surprise i have more 20MB storage ram then i had with udk r3

What bothered me in v18 was that if you changed today screen theme you couldn't put it back the way it was.. The colors would not be Black and blue anymore... Is this fixed??

You have to run a program called Black Bars everytime you change the theme to get them back. The program is in Start/Programs/Applications..

You have to run the Connection Setup wizard manually after installing this rom, have you done this? (Start/Settings/Connections/Connection Setup)

Sorry I did not mention that I already did that. I was trying to add my custom city via HHC v08 and it will not update. Weird becuase I just had it running on udK's diamond rom.

This v20 is rather buggy for me. 3 hard crashes within one hour of webradio streaming. And as mentioned above, system performance went way down after installing the diamond keyboard (several other ROMs have that issue too though). Personally I'll go back to Vega R3 - outdated Opera but much better stability for me.

Exactly. Will sync with activesync not via wifi or gsm.

Why do you want to install diamond keyboard when you know you will lose the benefits of this ROM? There are others you can choose from.

Installed Taiseer's video telephony cab and video calling is now working except that it's using the main camera not the front camera.:mad: Any workaround guys?:rolleyes: So far, the rest are working fine for me, and man, this ROM's really fast.:p

I had the same problem. See if your carrier requires a proxy setting or not. With AT&T, once I unselected proxy I was able to update weather OTA.

The mms part is not included, you have to install it as standalone part:

but it hangs the phone so i guess it not a choice, but who knows maybe it will work on yours.
Btw i'm in sweden so it's not AT&T that is your problem !
I will wait for next version of the rom instead.. hopefully the mms part will be okay then.

Something strange happens to me when I've installed TomTom (both version 6.03 and 6.032). The "Integrated GPS" option don't appears to me in the list of GPS options. Anyone can tell me why?

After many time I went to Settings->System->External GPS and in GPS Setting tab Progrmas choose in GPS Program port the COM4 option and in tab Hardware only maintain Baud Rate in 4800 (I think that I read this here in XDA). Then I open again TomTom but "Integrated GPS" option still don't appears. What I remember to do was select the "Others GPS bluetooth receivers" option and select COM4 communication and it works :confused:
The same happens if I choose "Others NMEA GPS" option and works too :confused:

I think is strange because the POLARIS have a integrated GPS and I think that option should appear in TomTom. It's strange too, because in a Kaiser this option is there in TomTom

Hi,

I've one HTC Touch Cruise that was simlocked with Orange France, i bougth the unlock code and it is now unlocked.

The problem is...

I've tried many times to run the ROM update utility and i can't achieve it! PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME...
.
I go carefully along all the steps that your application told me to but i get to the same trouble...

ERROR (262) : Update Error

"The Rom Update Utility has encountered comunication errors during the update process. The program will guide you step-by-step to recover form the errors so you can continue with the update"

Then i go along the recover process (unplug, remove battery...) until i get to the question about if i've got or not the blue,red and white bands screen on my screen, and honestly after removing batery and turning it on it goes nicely as usual... so your application tell me to go to the beginning of the process ending it always on the same problem i've told you in the begining !!!

I've to say that when i'm doing the rom update process i get to the point where i've a progress bar with 0% on my PC and on my HTC, but the progress bar doesn't move at all and the only messege i've got after some minutes is that one about ERROR (262) i've told you.

There is a point.. that's i had to uncheck the option "Activer la foctionnalite de reseau avancee" in Parametres>Connexions>USB vers PC, otherwise i'm not abbel to syncronize my HTC with my desktop because it's always going down (HTC Hotline told me to)

Well after all that description... anyone faced the same problem !? Any HELP !? Pleaseeeee....

With this problem i'm thinking i cant get nothing out of this forum to my HTC....

I use AT&T in the States. Try this -- go to Settings=>Connections Tab=>Connections=>Manage Existing Connections=> Proxy Settings Tab=> Make sure "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet" is NOT selected. Works for me.
