I want to start this Thread for all People in Germany which are waiting for the “HTC Touch Diamond” or already have it. So here are all Things you must know for the german Version of the Diamond.

yes, and O2 raised its price (incl. contract) from 99€ to 189€ !!!

This coveres my experience. I pre ordered my XDA Diamond at O2 within a contract extend and they said I will get one from the first delivery. It seems that all resellers won´t get an unlimited charge.
Last week I got an SMS from O2 that the delivery will be delayed until the begining of July. So I think it will become available at O2 in calender week 27.

So I will get an branded version because I only have to pay 79€ for the Diamond, I think its worth the branding. And hopefully there will be a chance to get rid of the blue theme without flashing the hole ROM.

I also recieved an email saying that it will arrive at 2nd Juli 2008. At the Amazon.de site it says it will be sold from 30th June so i presume the 2nd Juli will be the actual delivery day.

are those UK diamonds that are being talked about here o2-branded versions as well? so the delay might just be because of the german translation while t-mobile needs everything to be painted pink :)

i ordered my unbranded htc diamond with 2 conctracts for my compartment, total costs are 337€.
i can't wait to hold it in my hands, expected date is 2nd july, too.
i think the non-branded version ist a bit more stylish and with this great price in the backhead i chose it... :-)

Thats the same date, i was been told, the phone would be delivered in Switzerland... so this would be this friday :)
I'm still optimistic, that this date is going to be reality :)

Battery life is a little bit short, but no other problems at the moment

but i'm a little bit unhappy about the performance (tweaks already made) and specialy the toch sensibility!

i have to press on it very hard in my opinion...

"hard" touching on the first calibration means that you have to touch it allways "hard". Theres was a thread that described that problem, use the search function.
