Thx to the German thread, I´ve taken the depeche for the Danes.

We need to get a rom-dump from the danish romversion as soon as it arrives after 20.6.2008, to make a new danish rom or just to update the WWE to Danish.

I hope everyone will participate in finding/dumping and cooking!

BIG TIME UPDATE:

cyphol
4th July 2008, 04:52 AM
History:

Joost39 has requested me to rebuild the ROM from his dump files done from his device.

- The ROM is completely stock rebuilt ( 1.37.403.3 DAN). Now anybody can customize it to their liking by cooking their own.
- TouchFlo 3D Manila is integrated in the ROM itself since this is an untouched stock version.
- Bugs: Same as the original stock ROM
- Memory: Free Storage ~76.84MB and Free Programs ~ 55.85MB after customization and let running for about 30 minutes.

Attention!

Before flashing this ROM, please HardSPL your device with the developer edition if your device is still having a stock SPL. Get it here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400950) and read/follow the instructions carefully.

Credits:

The credit should go to Joost39 for dumping the ROM from his device. I'm only giving my hands helping him a bit to accommodate the Danish WWE users.

So here we go, folks!

1. The download link is here (http://rapidshare.com/files/127059837/NBH.exe) . (Don't ask for mirrors since I don't have much spare times to do so)
2. Tweak file is attached below

I'm happy to help you and Happy flashing!!!

Is it possible to get the ROM signed? or

Can I install unsigned Hard-SPL over signed Hard-SPL? (I currently have signed Hard-SPL installed with the cooked TRL ROM (version 2)).

If you've installed the signed HardSPL by OliNex then you have to do it again using the HardSPL developer edition by OliNex also. Please read my post #19. Remember to read their respective threads on HardSPL/changing HardSPL on your device.

Regarding signing the ROM, somebody must send it to Olinex to be signed by them (Only they can sign the ROM).

Dear Moderators, this thread should be moved to ROM Development section.

Okay. I've just PM'ed theloanranger and asked him if he will cook a ROM for us. If he - or someone else - can produce a cooked ROM, I'll wait for that version and get it signed by Olinex. I'd rather have a ROM with all those good, cooked customizations that the guys do, than the stock ROM with whatever sluggishness in TF3D and other bugs.
Thanks again. ;)

I'm asked by Joost39 to rebuild the ROM from his dump files only. So, that's what I did since there's none stock ROM available here before. The rebuilding process took only 15 minutes. The stock first then only then come the customized one.

TheLoanRanger is a good cook.

Anyway, good luck to you.

Just installed the initial build of Cyphols ROM (also see my other post about the test of build 2) and generally, it went fine. Just remember to install TF3D after you've flashed to the custom RUU. I have also installed the tweaks provided by Cyphol.

Bugs:

1. No shortcuts in Programs menu (under TF3D Programs tab). English stock ROM contains 6.
2. [deleted/resolved]
3. [deleted/resolved]
4. No TEETER game (WTF???).
5. Only 4 (!) major cities to choose from in Weather app (Århus, Aalborg, Odense, and Kobenhavn).
6. No Keyboard layout for Danish selectable.
7. No Opera browser installed (pretty serious bug!). When you click on Browser button or tap Launch Browser on the Internet tab, nothing happens...
8. No FM Radio app.
9. No Power icon in Settings/System menu.

Suggested tweaks:

1. Possibility of changing the date separator successfully under Regional Settings/Date (to be reflected in TF3D>Home screen).
2. Assisted GPS is enabled by default.
3. Nadavi's Comm Manager installed by default or added to accompanying Add-on package.
4. NetCF 3.5?
5. AppToDate functionality?

Requests for future HTC builds:

1. More cities to choose from in the Weather app.
2. Keyboard layout for Danish.

Overall, the ROM is working smoothly, although I still find TF3D a bit slow to respond to finger commands. The COMM Manager doesn't contain an option to turn off 3G (which consumes considerably more battery power than 2G), which is annoying, but there is an updated (English) COMM Manager which I will try to install later on. [added 08/07/04 1:30 pm] The NEW Comm Manager by Nadavi does the trick (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402012).

5. Think this is a bug. Should be updated in a future Danish ROM from HTC (I read an announcement from the company about this somewhere on the Internet...).

This one has an integrated TouchFlo 3D Manila inside.

After 30 minutes of running, this ROM still has:

Free Storage ~ 76MB
Free Programs ~ 56MB

The link to the stock Danish ROM 1.37.403.3 (fix Rebuilt) is here (http://rapidshare.com/files/127059837/NBH.exe)

I do though have one question. I bought my Diamond this saturday in Denmark and the ROM is version 1.37.775.3 DAN, so that must mean that my ROM is newer, right? Will it make any sense to update it to your ROM?

And what is the difference between TouchFlow and TouchFlow Manila? I dont understand "Manila".

1. From what were told here before, w.xx.yyy.z numbering is something like:

w.xx is the major build number and z is the minor build number. Whereas yyy is the region number. So, this one is as new as this one dumped from Joost39's device.

What I don't really understand is, yours is Danish also but with a different an greater number. So, maybe this mean it's anewer build than this one.
If you could dump the rom and submit here/Rapidshare, other Danish users will surely be very grateful to you.

2. TouchFlo 3D is the core apps for serving the touch capabilities like scrolling whereas the Manila is the Today Single Plug-in which uses the TouchFlo 3D to give us a nice 3D interface preferably by using our finger.

Just my 2 cents.

Ok... It's been two years since my last HTC device and I've only had my Diamond for two days. I could spend a few days trying to catch up, but why waste time? :)

I am trying to do a dump of the 1.37.775.3 Danish ROM from June 19 (yes, the '3' ROM), but I have found conflicting descriptions of how to do it. I have noticed that when ppl ask here, they are usually given a link to the Hermes or TyTN II procedure, but can they be used in the exact same manner on the Diamond? Is the memory layout 100% identical?

Instead of relying on info given for other devices, I used the pdocread -l option to get this list

| 3.12M (0x31f000) Part00
| 4.38M (0x460000) Part01
| 118.13M (0x7620000) Part02
| 85.13M (0x5520000) Part03

So now I am extracting the ROM using the below commands. Is this correct?

pdocread -w -d DSK1: -b 0x800 -p Part00 0 0x31f000 Part00.raw
pdocread -w -d DSK1: -b 0x800 -p Part01 0 0x460000 Part01.raw
pdocread -w -d DSK1: -b 0x800 -p Part02 0 0x7620000 Part02.raw

Thanks again to Cyphol for creating a great Danish ROM for us Danish speaking users! :))

Just installed the 2nd build of Cyphol's ROM (also see my other post about the test of initial build) and generally, it went fine.

First of all I have to say: THIS IS FASTEST BUILD/ROM I'VE TRIED SO FAR!! In my opinion, there's nothing faster out there or in here.
I've tested the TLR ROM 1 + 2, and taking into account that these are cooked - and I would expect optimized - ROMs and that all stock apps are included in the Danish stock ROM (no apps removed or optimized/tweaked (as far as I know...)), this is quite surprising.

Bugs:

- Both "København" and "Kobenhavn" in the Weather app. Why two options instead of just one? ;)
- On first use, if you go straight to the Favorites tab, select Add Favorite and try to activate T9, it won't turn on. You have to first enter the SMS or Mail app, open a new message / reply and then activate T9. Then you can go back to the Favorites app and turn on T9. Odd...

Suggested tweaks:

- Option to change the date separator successfully under Regional Settings/Date (to be reflected on TF3D Home screen). (this is sort of a bug, I guess...)
- Assisted GPS is enabled by default.
- Nadavi's Comm Manager installed by default or added to accompanying Add-on package.
- NetCF 3.5?
- AppToDate functionality?

Requests for functionality in future HTC builds:

- More cities to choose from in the Weather app.
- Option to change font layout on the TF3D Home screen, e.g. switch between black/white fonts, so that it is possible to have lighter wallpapers/background pictures + change fonts and font sizes.

Overall, the ROM is working VERY smoothly. I find it odd though that after installing Schap's Advanced Config, I can change and save advanced settings such as Security, File Locations etc., i.e. the settings won't be implemented after resetting the device.

The COMM Manager doesn't contain an option to turn off 3G (which consumes considerably more battery power than 2G), which is annoying, but the NEW Comm Manager by Nadavi does the trick (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402012).

Bugs:

- Both "København" and "Kobenhavn" in the Weather app. Why two options instead of just one? ;)
Its the same in my Stock rom - thats been dumped/rebuild?

- No Keyboard layout for Danish selectable.
You dont have any danish keyboards at all?

1. Don't understand what you mean...(?) It IS the same as the stock ROM because that is what Cyphol based the ROM on. But thanks for confirming (I think...).

2. I can type Danish letters with the existing keyboard options (Phonepad, Compact QWERTY). I just don't have a full Danish QWERTY keyboard... but I guess that may be asking too much. ;)

3. Thanks for confirming.

Yes. It do impress me too. This Danish build is the fastest among all, I think.

Regarding the schap's tool, yes, I can confirm that it's not fully working when saving registry newly assigned values. Kaiser Tweak is better but the best way is to do it by using Resco Registry plug-in or other registry editors manually.

Will be an alternative for the current version here. Using 1.37.403.3 DAN as the base ROM but Manilla will not be installed by default but is attached as an add on.:)

When will it be available? :(

it's over here:D (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=406431)

I've accidentally package the Asia version of Manilla as an add for GM360DAN.1 ROM. There's not many city available for weather city options. The fix has already been posted in the thread post #1. Go there to get the fix.

Hi guys.

New to this forum. I have some experience with pc cooding, but never done it on mobile phones, as this is gonna be my first... tech one :)

I've just ordered mine today from Telia. They are out until 31 July so i gotta wait a little and i'm living in Dublin, so i'm not quite sure when getting it.

I'll be sure to check what rom i have installed, but so far, i have a few questions.

The spl and the rom. The newest one in the stickys. I'm guessing they will reset it for english use?
Is it possible to translate it to danish?

The danish one that Cyphol made. (You seem like a really gool guy, doing this). Is it newer or better than the latest stock one?

Otherwise, i'll be more than happy to help out with language barriers etc.

I've got a guy at work that owns an Iphone, and he's been... critizing the accelerometer etc. on the HTC. I wanna be able to show him that the diamond is fast in any way, so thats my goal :)
Hope you can help me, as i'll do all i can to help here.

Hi guys

I have used a loyal diamond for some time now but lately its been shutting of the charging procedure when i share the internet connection to the laptop its only when i share internet connection the issue is there besides that it works as supoosed..resulting in a shutdown in the end cause its drains the battery..it does get quite hot so i guess its a toasted chip in the phone.

I want to take the phone back to the dealer problem is that the phone is bought from 3 i did sim-unlock it "since i live abroad" and which i guess is no problem but i also flashed olinex 1.37 and flashed stock htc rom version 1.93.403.2 DAN date 07/12/08 on it and radioversion 1.00.25.05 ..

Now my guess is that 3 gonna reject to fix the device since i flashed it sooo i want to change it back to stock as when i got it from 3g .. is that possible and if so anyone know where the software is availebel for download ?
