HELP!

My boss just bought a new XV6800 Verizon Titan. He wants to do what I have (flash with DCD, etc..). This is th situation - I cannot get Olipro 2.40 to connect to his device - I have placed it into bootloader mode and at present he has it set up with wireless sync - verizon server, etc...

This is the problem - I cannot get an activesync connection with either a vista or xp machine because he has set it so it will not duplicate his contacts/etc - so activesync is disabled.

HOW can I get olipro 2.40 to allow the flashing process (recognize and connect) to the device? I am going nuts!!

I think what he's saying is he has Olipro 2.4 but his boss has configured his device to not connect to Activesync via a USB cable and he has to do that for the bootloader flash. Couldn't your boss do a PIM backup...hard reset the phone which would erase the activesync settings on the device...then connect to your XP machine and let it connect to activesync via USB and unlock??

On XP, can't you set activesync not to synchronize anything (which would take care of the issue of duplicates) but still connect to the device? That's how I have it set up. If so, you can disable the synchronization, flash it, and then re-enable synchronization with activesync. Just a thought.

If I do that - do a hard reset, do I put it into bootloader mode or boot into WM to flash olipro?

Let it go into WM...then connect as usual...activesync should start and and save settings...then you should be able to flash as usual.
