I just received my replacement xv6800 from Verizon. Before I flash and get everything set up I am curious about memory.
On first boot up there was 24.xx MB available. This is with all their crap installed.
Then I cleared everything off the today screen. After soft reset there was 27.14MB available.
Then I proceeded to hard reset the device w/o the Verizon crap installing there was 27.01MB available. This is with everything on the today screen.
After clearing the today screen an soft resetting there was 27.22MB available.
However memory appears to decrease pretty fast while doing nothing. Is there a memory leak in WinMo 6.0?
It's OS 5.2.1238 Build 17745.0.2.3
DCD usually gives 23-24MB and 22-23MB after apps loading. I'll still take the RAM hit to use DCD's stuff, but I really wondering what has changed and what can be done to fix it.
