Data connection auto disconnects every 5 min! Help, pls!

Hi!

I have AT&T Tilt and facing very strange problem - when I connect my Tilt as a bluetooth modem or using Internet sharing (bluetooth or USB) the data connection starts, I can download files and open Internet pages, but data connection disconnects every 5 minutes.

I've tried several different ROMs and Radios, tried different carriers, tried different laptops, but all the same.

When I plug the same sim-card into HTC Touch and connect it as a modem - everything works just fine and no disconnects.

Please, help! :confused:

Yeah I was having the same problem but it seemed to go away if I moved the phone closer to the computer.

I have this problem before. It has something to do with changes that AT&T has down on there server to not allow tethering. If you give a few hours it will stop. But as soon as you do something that causes the connection to reconnect it will time out again.
