I tried searching I swear. How to flash MWG's rom to o2's atom LIFE.

I recieved an o2 atom life, wm5. Which is unstable.
I want to use this: http://www.mwg.com/atom-life_wm6_pre.aspx
(MWG's WM6.1 upgrade - June 2008).

But it shows "Vendor ID error"... So I guess I need soft SPL...
I searched a while but found only things for Atom/atom Pure... but nothing for atom life...
If I searched using "life" I got many "not for atom life" posts.

Any one that can guide/help me?

download a O2 atom life official ROM
run it, and b4 u really flash ur device, backup "pass.32" (c:/windows/temp)
then run MWG atom life official ROM
replace the pass.32 right b4 the soft detect ur device

be honest....there are not much atom life resource on internet then HTC device, especially here. do more searching and u will know.

Actually, MWg has not yet released any WM6.1 ROM for Atom Life... And MWg might has no plan on it.

i doubt they will ever release 6.1, it's a way to force you buying a new pda.

um.... i think there is no hope for radio stuff and driver
yet we stil have OS part as there custom build 6.1 ROM

Not only the O2 official Rom but you have to find the original rom for your atom life (which is suitable for your device's default language) . And actually, you just need the file "pass.32" , this file is used for cheking your device's default language.
I'll give you may pass.32 to see if it works or not( mine is WWE). All you have to do is download MWG rom, run it, then replace this pass.32 to C:\Windows\ temp , after that connect your device to pc and flashing

Its already shared in another Medkid ROM's forum. Just search for Pass.32 and you would find.
