My findings (as some of you also noticed): The speed is definetely better. The memory leak has noticeably reduced. The touchscreen is more sensitive and sensitivity feels more 'balanced'. Scrolling is less quirky. I'm only waiting for a better radio, because reception still doesn't match my HTC Touch. Anyway, nice improvement over 1.35.... especially the dutch one, terrible! It also seems to work more stable even without the tweaks...

Well I was 100% I had turned that off, so I have double checked and its back on.

It seems if I either

1) Uncheck the "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet"
2) Go into the advanced settings and remove the IP from the HTTP protocol

It always sets itself back to on... how weird.

My experiences so far with this rom:

Opening programs from touch3D (eg mail, contacts) is much much faster. With the default dutch rom I had to wait like 5 seconds when I clicked on the envelope in Touch3D until the message opened. Now it is about a second or less. Also switching from, for example, home screen to mail screen is faster and smoother.

This is without any tweaks, just flashed the rom and left everything on default.

Tomtom is working ok (just as in my original rom).

So I'm very happy with this update ;) Can't wait for the next one. If they succeeded an improvement like this in a relative short time, has promises for the future ;)

i have a HTC WWE 1.34.... HONG KONG VERSION will this new 1.37 work for me without hard SPL? I tried the asian WWE and it had invalid vendor id...somthing like that. Do i use the signed or unsigned SPL? if HTC releases a new ROM would I be able to flash it if i use either the signed or unsigned SPL? any advice is appreciated.

There was a connection error while attempting to download weather data . Retry? Can browse other websites without any issues at all. This was working fine with the 1.34 ROM. Thinking of going back .....

I'm using this ROM and i don't have this problem, i am using the full QWERTY now and have just jumped between it, and the other modes, and all are working! Do soft reset and try again, and if no one else comes up with a solution, consider a full re-flash/hard reset. Good luck

I had also changed from Elite 1.0, which version of HardSPL do you use. Before I updated to this ROM - I changed Hard SPL from 1.3 to 1.4.

The only problem I now have is that I cannot select the full qwerty keyboard anymore, it is in the list of imput methods, but if I select it, and say ok, it jumps back to compact qwerty. Is this a problem in the Rom, or just in mine?

Hmmm it works if I select it from the keyboard menu itself, but not if I cange it from start/settings/imput...

Oh wel, I can select it now, so I'm very happy :D

use the unsigned hard spl of OliNex download it below and then upgrade to it to know if its the newest unsigned hard spl after upgrading just go to bootloader mode (volume down + action button + reset) see there if its OliNex 1.40 then u have unsigned version and then u can upgrade to any ROM no matter from where it is !!!

Updated my Diamond to this new Rom and its great! Big improvement on speed and memory usage.
On fresh start memory usage is 50%.

I noticed that performing the performance tweaks on this rom makes memory usage bigger. After performing tweaks, I have a memory usage of 57%-60%. So I undid (is that correct english?:) ) the tweaks and I am back on 50%. I am so happy! :D

Have any of you guys lost the Touchflo 3d interface after installing the update? My device boots up into the green windows mobile 6.1 interface with nothing on the today screen. I went into the settings to see if I could activate touchflo from there but couldn't find anything.

Theres also no indication of google maps installed or anything, has anyone experience the same thing after updating to 1.37?

Some seconds after booting to green screen, the automatic installation of programs (including TouchFlo 3D and others) starts normally.

I would recommend... re-flash!

I firstly tried to instal the ROM without the HardSPL, however, the instalation stucked at 1% and nothing else happened.

Than I tryed to instal the HardSPL, which worked perfectly. It is indeed instaled. However, now when I try to instal the ROM, it stucks on 0% and nothing happens.

Can you help me with this?

I´m trying to flash the Diamond because it came with some bugs, and the worst of all of it is that I just can´t download the attachments of emails I receive...I make the sync, I receive the emails, but when I try do download the attachments it just don´t work (it seems that its going to download, it show that "download arrow" aside de attachment, but nothing happens and the "download arrow" just goes away...).

After installing the unsigned HardSPL, the version that I have into my Diamond is the 1.30....how do I upgrade it to 1.40 in order to start the upgrading of the ROM?/ Tks!

Guys, sorry for being so newbie such as a junior member probabbly is...I was instaling the signed version, and that is why I wasn´t able to update this new ROM into my Diamond. After installing the right unsigned HardSPL, the process of the new ROM´s installation is up to 65%...

Now I´m really anxious to see if this new ROM will fix the attachment problem I have related above.

Thanx and sorry for my precipitation on posting repeatedly over here (the problem is that when your a newbie and buy a device so up-to-dated, it is hard not to see it working properly).

Hi all,

I am facing a strange kind of problem. I brought the HTC touch diamond in france and so, the WM was in french. I wanted to change it to English. So, I flashed it with another ROM, RUU_Diamond_HTC_WWE_1.37.405.1_Radio_Signed_Diamon d_52.26a.25.09_1.00.25.03_Ship after installing the unsigned HardSPL(as instructed in the forum). Everything was fine and it rebooted to English

Everything works fine and I'm able to make calls. But I'm not able to access internet, which before I was able to. Is it some problem with settings or operator or is it because of flashing of ROM or may be incompactibility of ROM? It says for some unknown reasons its not able to connect to the net(after the phone rebooted, it detected the network(SFR in my case) and installed the settings). I think my warranty would have been voided and so I'm not ready to talk with SFR unless anyone can confirm that its only a network/settings problem.

I greatly appreciate your suggestions and help

I did face this same issue.

I have a Orange UK Touch Diamond, just updated to the following ROM configs.

Use the following ROM file: RUU_Diamond_HTC_WWE_1.93.405.1_Radio_Signed_Diamon d_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship

Rom: 1.93.405.1 WWE
Radio: 1.00.25.05
Protocol: 52.29.25.12H

Both Wireless and Orange Internet didn't work.

What i did is i soft rebooted my device and checked my orange internet GPRS connection first and then turned this off and checked wireless.

Both are now working... i hope you have better luck...
