Text message notifications

When I get a text message while the phone is in sleep mode it does not wake up to notify me. The circle button lights up and flashes to indicate some activity but it will only play the sound and pop up the notification when i manualy exit sleep mode by pressing the power button..

m in canada using Rogers.. so my question is do I have to match up the Radio version numbers or just grab 1.37 *** WWE for english and im good?

Just an update..

When I have someone send a text message to me that is on the same provider it works just fine, i get the sound notification. but someone on a different network I get nothing.

As Rory said earlier, grab the 1.37 rom and that issue is fixed.

I have 1.37 installed and mine does NOT wake up, but i get the sound alert and the light!
