French Diamond

The first French Diamond start to be delivered. A friend received his own, HTC Diamond in French, today. Mine should arrive Monday or Tuesday.
I will try to dump the french ROM as soon as possible. Unless another person do it before.

I found the probleme, now i process to dump raw files ;-)

In process 5 mn for dumpt the last Raw file ;-)

NOW i have the 4 part of RAW french Files.

I will try to convert it.

May be there is a bug when i dump the rom on Info version of rom but i confirm its 1.37.

Le mien vient aussi de HK, j'ai flashé mon portable avec presque toutes les rom disponible sur XDA. La rom FR se présente comme les autres ROM, un message te demande quel opérateur tu as et il configure le portable automatiquement..
Pour le flashage utilise un ordi portable (pas de risque de coupure de courant) et ne lance aucun logiciel pendant le flashage et normalement tout se passera bien.
Le flashage est très simple, tu synchronise ton téléphone (ActiveSync), puis tu utilise HARD SPL pour débloquer le portable (flashage à faire une seul fois) et après tu exécute le programme d'installation de la ROM (re-flashage).

PS : La ROM FR consomme 51% de mémoire et en plus elle est rapide !

J'essais de passer par l'etape 1 avec le fichier "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" dans le dossier "Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex", le diamond est bien synchronisé avec activesync mais quand le pourcentage commence il reste à 0% puis me dit de verifier la connexion..... il y a quelque chose d'autre en particulier à faire????

Attention, sur certaines machines, nottament avec rom WM6: il faut modifier une clé supplémentaire:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Security/Internet Explorer/UserAgent
Il faut une clé Custom avec comme valeur: la clé choisie, par exemple: PPC; 240x320; SPV M700; OpVer 19.123.2.733
Si cette clé n'existe pas, il faut la créer en respectant les majuscules et espaces ci-dessus.
Si la clé existe et vous ne pouvez pas la modifier, alors vous devez l'effacer...remonter jusqu'à Internet Explorer si nécessaire
et recréer une clé Internet Explorer , puis User Agent , puis une Dstring (ou String) Custom avec comme value la clé donnée.
Si vous n'arrivez pas à modifier la clé, chargez et lancé ce petit soft: http://www.ppccool.com/index.php?act=attac...ost&id=1253

Je reçoit mon Diamond la semaine prochaine. Je cherche la ROM la plus rapide. Je suis indifferent de la langue. Vous avez un conseil svp.
PS : je ne suis pas un newbie mais j'ai pas envi de passer mon temps à tester toutes les ROMS. Je sais que la ROM ELITE est beaucoup plus rapide que la 1.35 d'origine.
Alors un conseil? J'ai envi que mon Diamond me donne l'impression d'avoir un processeur 528 Mhz :)

Tomtom 6 marche très bien, il faut juste que tu configures le port du GPS avant.
Tu vas sous parametres GPS et tu configure port programmes GPS sur com 0 par exemple.
puis sous Tomtom tu vas sous configurer GPS, tu choisis autre NMEA et port 0, débit 57600 COM 0 et bingo.

Par contre il va t'indiquer pas de signal GPS, j'ai eu un peu de mal a avoir le 1er fix, il a fallu que je le fasse en voiture.

Mine is working fine also.

All you have to do is install TT7 and then included the activated maps V 7

After that, you can send your maps to the internal storage with TT Home or with the explorer

my version of the streaming is 2.10, but normally on the diamond it's 3.0 H...

Is there any cab somewhere with this version (3.0H) of the Htc streaming ?
