GPS off? MOD EDIT *(Fix The Title to better explain PLEASE)

When i use GPS, about for 1 minutes i have GPS off!
I use Garmin XT.
What is a problem?

Please elaborate on issues. "after 1 min off, I use garmin" tells us little to nothing.

I said that when i use GPS with Garmin XT, after 1 min working good and navigate, i have GPS OFF.
I have Duttys 6.1 and radio rom 1.65.16.25

Let me try to reword this and you just say if it's write or wrong.

You use Garmin whatever for a minute and everything is working fine, after about a minute though the gps turns off, and or stops working?


If this is the case then I would ask. What happens with another program such as google maps or tomtom after a minute? Does this problem follow the Garmin software, or the GPS device?

Problem Solved.
I unmark at =>System=>Power=>Advanced (Turn Off if device not used for..)

I use Tomtom and even with that option set to 1 minute, my phone never shuts on me when using Tomtom.

there is some settings in garmin mobile xt that overrides system settings. i'm sure there are some settings for backlight. check in garmin's setup
