Anyone know where I can find Housing for my S710? Dropped it again and the case is cracked! Only ones I can find are around £50!

Hi
Was it difficult to change? I've had a look at the service manual and it doesn't look too difficult?

It's not very difficult, however if you've never taken apart a mobile you might be in over your head. It's especially weird since it is a slider.

I have already tried taking mine apart just so I could see how it all goes... Its pretty simple really... Just waiting for my housing now :)

Question here,
My wife's Vox died, (not reading SIM and screen keeps going black), Is it worth trying to fix or should I just part it out? Having it repaired is almost as much as a new one.
Does anyone know where I can get another one at a fairly cheap price?
If anyone is interested in parts PM me.

The flex cable isn't seated properly? Make sure it clicks in and does not come out when you slide the QWERTY out.

i've taken the phone apart 3-4 times, double and triple checking all the connections. i dont know it its the lcd or just the flex cable.

I had the same problem. But I think h4waii is right. When I redid the thing it worked. And, by the way I was told by HTC service people in Delhi that the LCD would have to be replaced for the problem.
