Can someone please help, how do I get the Big TrayIcons? I have enable it on Second Today but nothing happens? Do I need to install another app? Some guidance would be much apprecated. I am using the Polaris on WM 6.0. Thanks in advance.

SecondToday changes my default PIM Contact from PI back to plain original Contact. If I soft reset my PDA then and SecondToday is not running, my PI Contacts works as default. As soon as I start ST, I lose that default, even if I close ST.

How can I/we fix this?

I gotta tell you I cannot seem to find a straight answer to your question. I have not succesfully gotten this to work either. Any help guys? I love secondToday but want to be able to get to it from the softkey. I am using cr86 hd 1.0 Manila2d v19. Thank you

The Second Today was running fine. When after installing G Alarm, now I get the "ok" tab on the right corner. Anyway of removing this and making it really look like a Second Today again? thanks in advance.

The fix that I used is in Post #241 on the previous page. As you'll see, you're looking for Manila, Not Manila 2D

I have installed SecondToday on my Fuze, and everything looks great - big thanks to Ikarus. The only issue I'm having is with remapped left soft key. So, when the phone turns on, SecondToday is loaded before TF3D, and for about 30 seconds I have to look at the empty wallpaper. My question is: is it possible to not to run SecondToday before the initialization of TF3D?

Technically speaking, I did not solve it - just became less irritated with it. So now what I want to do is exclude TF3D from secondtoday screen, and to map its launch to the left soft key. The only thing I need for that is the location of .exe file that launches TF3D, and so far I could not find it

same problem here. Post 241 does not follow the registry on my device. I don't have a manila folder. I do have a manila2d folder. It just does not follow the tree structure after that point in relation to post 241.

This is a silly question I guess. But whats the quickest easiest way to get from Manilla home tab into 2nd today. The left soft key is great from getting back into Manilla from 2nd today, but what about the converse. I have just been clicking on the 2nd today in programs or on the drop down task manager/x button of running apps. This seems silly...

Why doesnt he make the program itself do this? After all, isnt this the main reason the app exists. You would think making it easier to flip from Manilla into 2nd Today would be a top priority.
Hopefully he will add these reg edits and cab up a new version soon!

I dont know if this will help you replicate and fix this bug or not but I noticed it and also fixed it (I think).

While I was testing Second Today I was installing and uninstalling a lot. At one point, I uninstalled but DID NOT delete the Second Today directory still left in Programs. In this dir was a file called settings. I then installed Second Today again and immediaetly noticed this visual glitch/hangup which looked a lot like yours as soon as I ran Second Today. I uninstalled but deleted the directory as well after I uninstalled. I then reinstalled and its working and I havent noticed this bug yet since.

With this registry entry (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=475040) we can disable the plugin dividers on the normal today screen. This would look great on second today, too. :)

After following this every thing is working fine. I have one thing which needs to be fixed. When I am in TF3d I have SecondToday and All Programs (Using MobileMatt theme) as softkeys. After selecting SecondToday, I have Calender and Contacts as softkeys, how can I change this calender or Contacts to TouchFlo3D softkey? I tried in SecondToday settings but nothing is changed.

Hey guys - any way to have your SIP pop up when clicking a text field within SecondToday? I wanted to use it mainly to use Google or Live Search, but no keyboard appears when I enable and click on either.

It works on HD. I have my first today with SPB Pocket Plus and Second Today dedicated solely to SPB Diary as I wanted a full screen view of SPB Diary.

There is an issue though, the max plug-in height for SPB Diary is 300, which does not pull it all the way down the HD screen. So nothing appears after 300x down the screen. I am assuming x is pixels because the screen is 800pixels in height and thiss goes down to 300. About 100 pixels are reserved for each bar (top start and soft key bottom).

See attached image. (supposed to say nothing not now - typo).



Also, how do I change the right soft key to go back to first today screen? I know that if I program it to Second Today it will minimize it self, but how do I change it?

If you can see a context-menu, then you're using HS++UI and you can enable the TaskBar-Reading there.

I installed the latest version and could not figure out how to use it (CDMA Touch Pro) so I uninstalled it. Now I'm willing to try again but keep getting "Installation of SecondToday.cab was unsuccessful". I have made certain it is not running. I couldn't be anyway since I uninstalled it. Any ideas how I can fix this? Maybe some registry settings did not get deleted or rest on uninstall?

Anybody ever figure out anything with this problem? I recently started having a similar glitch where a strip down the right side of the today screen keeps ghosting the previous images drawn on it, til they eventually keep adding up stacking on top of each other.

This is new, and I cannot put my finger on when or why it started :(

With the old TF3D it is no problem but how do i do that with the new windows homescreen?

I noticed that if I have a plugin like Live Search loaded on the Second Today screen and tap on it to initiate a search, the SIP icon does not show up at the bottom of the screen, although it does on the primary Today Screen. Is this normal behavior or something I am doing wrong?

I am running TF3D, along with TFDetacher and Second Today. I mapped the right soft key on the Today Screen (Key 113) to goto Second Today. I use my PTT button (short press) to toggle TF3D on and off. It was unexpected, but when I press the right soft key from my Today Screen, I go to Second Today and another press takes me back to the Today Screen, creating a toggle effect. So now I can bounce around all three screens with ease.

Thanks for a simple and effective solution. With this new real estate I need to go out and find more today plugins :D.

I have an odd problem. When I have SecondToday running, it messes with the fonts in the task manager. Anyone have any idea what is happening. I've uninstalled the font and re-installed. I've also uninstalled STand re-installed. When I close ST down, the font goes back to normal in the task manager.

i've checked this some time ago, but unfortunatelly i don't know why it happens with SecondToday.
As you can see almost any Today-Plugin is working correctly unless the ones with automatic height adaption.
I don't have a solution :(
Maybe Pocket Islam is relying on the default today-screen and its window-structure. i don't know.

Same problem here regarding Pocket Islam, I am using version 7. Would be great if there was a solution or workaround. Thanks!

Tried on my x51v, with ROM: [X51V] ROM WM6.5 Lite Classic (WWE) - optimized for a 64 M device
screen has lines flashing and moving,

If TouchFlo is activated on the SecondToday screen it somehow gets confused and keeps reverting to the FirstToday screen - so if you want TouchFlo running it has to be set on the FirstToday screen!

Sense and Titanium will not run from SecondToday.
They have to on your primary today screen.
