Gmail IMAP doesn't download anything...

I'm using a T-Mobile SDA (US version) with the stock ROM. I setup Gmail IMAP as per the instructions on Gmail.com and everything SEEMS to setup correctly, but when I try to retrieve headers, I get nothing. All the folders download, but they're empty. It doesn't matter if I set it for past day, all messages or any setting between. I even tried having it download headers only and first 500 bytes. All my folders are empty.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? It would seem I'm doing everything exactly the same as others have, but I get nothing.

It seems to connect ok to the server and says it is downloading the headers but disconnects before it does so.

I am using an XDA Orbit 2 from o2 in Germany,

I think this may have something to do with the fact that I am using a German OS to try and read English language folder names. Everytime I try to download the headers, a new folder is created with the German name for "Sent Objects."

Anybody have experience with try to use IMAP and different languages with Windows Mobile 6?
