And I thought I was young at 17. I'd say theres a normal distribution of ages.

But what a great thread, has she got her first PPC yet?

have you noticed that me you and l3v5y have a combined age of 49 but a combined post count of more than 4500?

I would say that only young people have the kind of time it takes to get that kind of post count.

Geez, and I'm barely at 100 posts and Im 34 years old. I definately agree with the age/time reference. Enjoy all the extra moments you have when you're young cause time seems to speed up as you get older and spare moments only becomes less available and more precious.

kick some n00b? nice language.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=403844

anyway, i think we should create a "productivity index" by dividing the post count by the age. The result would be an unitless number. Of course, we could just use post count per day, but that would imply that xda-devs ISN'T life.

Would be great, but would be a straight fight between rudegar and L3v3y for the highest number.
And threads like this just keep increasing my post count :)

I'm 16, turning 17 in two months.

I'm also a part of a laser forum (www.laserpointerforums.com. High powered lasers that also burn (see my youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htqvKsPhVM8) and there is a TEN YEAR OLD on that forum.

I dont know about you guys, but when i was 10, i was not researching, using forums, or using the internet for any real purpose, i would just use it for games, find cheats, whatever. you know, the things 10 year olds would do with the internet? when i was 10 i used to play with the cheap little <5mW lasers, but if you see my video, you would understand why it's outrageous that a 10 year old is on a laser forum.

was that a contact juggling ball? I'm a juggling buff and i was wondering if thats what it was.

The real question here is (if it IS a contact ball) is it glass or acrylic?

He's also been a member for more than 3 times as long as me...

Although (nerd moment coming up) his "Posts Per Day: 5.05" is fewer (since posts per day is a countable noun... Cram that up your signing Asda with your "5 items or less"...) than my "Posts Per Day: 11.57"... Therefor, I win! :D

lol that ball in the background is actually one of those electric balls that when you touch it the electricity all goes to your hand.

glass or acrylic, are you refering to the diode inside my laser or the ball?

Idk what that ball is made out of, some sort of glass lol.

fzzyrn
2nd July 2008, 04:58 AM
i was referring to the ball. It looks a bit too perfect to be glass, so i thought maybe it could be an acrylic contact juggling ball. If it's not glass, you should try out contact juggling. youtube it for inspiration

well now that I've watched some contact juggling videos, that looks really hard, but cool, how it just floats there.
do these things break or scratch bad when dropped? are they heavy?

fzzyrn
2nd July 2008, 05:31 PM
they only scratch on really hard floors and range in weight from 150 to 275 grams
my personal favorite is 303 grams
