I have just got myself the Samsung i780 (Unlocked) and although I like the phone and form factor very much I am having some problems with the device :confused:
1. I have a number of cabs on my memory card which run I have never had a problem when installing using my TYN II. The Samsung can't see them as cabs and asks for the file to be associated with a program - maybe I'm being stupid but how can I resolve that problem?
2. I have a T-Mobile web & Walk plan and when I put the SIM in everything seems to work okay but - no HSDPA just 3G, the Internet and email work fine but Internet Sharing is a non-starter when tethered to my laptop - not a problem with the TYN II.
3. Can someone point me in the right direction for a good front end - franky the samsung UI is not very good.
Maybe I have spoiled myself having the TYN II but it feels like a brick in comparison but I have a nice customised SPB Mobile Shell front end - if I could get half of what I have onto the Samsung in time it might just become my phone of choice - either that or I'll stick it on EBay. :(
