Still, no need for a new thread (again)...
It's common for FRE ROMS to have low sound levels... try a Cooked ROM or ditch the FRE and go whith WWE... most of the programs are in english (whith few or no language selection), so you don't gain much whith any other language...

Same for me...
As i've only got a sound problem, i really don't want to flash a new rom...

There might be a new trick to adjust the sound...

Couineur, a forum.hardware member has just replace "409" by "4000" in audioparara4.csv, using Total Commander and he said that it works.
No need to modify registry.
His Cruise is a new one with the new Rom.

Hey u're right!

In fact it's no more possible to use another file like audiopara4_v2.csv... Modifying the path in the registry to point to a modified file does not affect the system anymore. The TC continues to use the original file, they might have hardcoded the path somewhere else...

But it is possible to overwrite the original file with a modified one using total commander or Resco file explorer. You'll have a warning because it's a ROM file... But it works! I've just tested it and the sound is really, really louder now (even then too much :P )
