North America got the the video call shaft

It totally sucks that North American users, primarily AT&T and T-mobile users dont have any video call only video share. The video share threads only run around in circles right now so I guess that it doesnt work yet either. Im looking for opinions as to where people think this will go or maybe if video call will ever be supported. AT&T just release a bunch of new handsets and they all have video share, so it makes me think theres no hope. Thx in advance for any help/suggestions :)

All the new att 6.1 test roms that are coming out have the at&t videoshare ability as long as the stock dialer is being used and none of the dll's have been taken out. The only "cooked" rom that i have seen that has supported videoshare was one by ALEX before he stopped cooking off the first test build. Remember that Vid Share through At&t is a pay for use service so you would have to have it provisioned on your account and so would the other user you are vid sharing with in order for it to work. I would love to see someone extract this feature from the new att roms to use in other cooked roms, but i think it will fall by the way side like people asking for ptt. There is a very small minority of users on here that would actually use it so it makes the effort fairly fruitless...
