Friends,
I mistakenly upgraded my HTC S710 with corrupt ROM. Now i am stuck at boot-loader but everytime in get INVALID VENDOR ID, how to bypass this.
I can't run USPL because it does not connect with activesync

just hard reset your phone. and then try reflashing.

Friends,
is it possible, if i can check vendor ID and somebody expert on ROMs cooking can give me any ROM wih that vendor ID so atleast i can flash it 100% once
Later i will flash it with latest ROM.
Pls help!!!!!!!!

I tried hard reset several times but does not work.:(
Its strange that are not able to git it through a hard reset. may be ur not doing the hard reset properly. u have to switch it off and then press power key along with the two soft keys for five seconds and then leave the soft keys but not the power key. keep pressing the power key for 5 to 10 seconds and when u see the message press green (call) key.

You picked up a 3 year old thread. Which are your problems? Solutions much depend on the state of your device. Just tell as detailed as possible:
- your device
- the boot-status
- what you want to achieve
- what you have tried already
Mind that not all ROMs can be put on all devices (CID lock) so if a ROM does not upload the device it is not "corrupted" - it is just discovered to be "non matching". Cooked/custom ROMs cannot recover from a non-booting device. Starting with the shipped ROMs site is the best approach if you find the original one for YOUR device. If not, then more sophisticated methods may have to apply - depending on your problem.
