IGO8 and the Cruise

Is the IGO8 running on the Crouse without any probelm on every rom or has it same problem as Kaiser??

using udk diamond 2 and it runs perfect. really nice programm and it allways find more satallits then the tomtom crap.

However do any of you get that annoying ticking sound - its like a beacon.
I'm not sure if its directly linked to the volume sensor thingy but it still ticks away whether the sensor is on or off.
I have tried all sorts to stop it from ticking to no avail. To explain further when you turn your volume up apart from the key note noise you hear a tick noise - thats the one! it runs constant during igo8 operation.:eek:its enough to make you eat your young.

SORTED - BUG i think.
If you have screen tap activated on your device - run igo and see if you can hear the ticking. Its the exact same noise as the screen tap when activated.

I turned of my device screen tap options in device settings turned on igo - now its gone.
I am sure that should not happen, might submit it up to there site.

I had exactly the same problem, but for me the solution was to turn off the hardware keys sound. Thanks for the pointer, its been driving me mad. :D
