I need beta-tester for this build. IT is the SAME like ITsPapaBlack RC5 BUT XIP ans SYS updated....

known bugs:

- start -settings = some links are missing. BUT ALL is working!
---- NO wifi.ink (wifi can be set by tap-hold on BStopbar wifi!!)
---- NO slidingsound.ink (slidingsound.exe is in \windows if you need)

- BS taskmanager is not working - BUT x-button works - wired (HTC taskman can be reached by start-programs and is working)

New numbers are 0.9.0 (cause i change too often)

0 = version if final AND MAJOR changings
9 = short before final
0 = minor changings

IF i can get wifi and sliding working it would be 0.9.9 and if i get bstaskman running 1.0.0 hehe

ok its been a few hours and im back with my bug report:

i did experience about a 10 seconds delay when i slid down my Wing after i had got off the internet but i dont think your rom had much to do with that lol. (had finished using opera mobile 9.5, exited, slid it down and it took what felt like 10 years lol but after that, lag free and ready to continue)

wifi had a little problem (when i turned it on and connected it to my hotspot, i couldnt access the internet over wifi and i kept using EDGE. Rebooting the phone solved the problem. Turned it back on and it connected perfectly.)

phone became extremely laggy when:
it was in sleep mode for a few minutes
and slid up to wake it up
i had to reboot the phone to end the lag cycle.

other then that, everything works

EDIT:
MAJOR bug found!
Tried replacing my SPB Mobile Shell 2.1 Theme (ive done it before with no problem) and when i did, i did the soft-reset and then BAM phone=unusuable
As soon as the phone got into the menu, it would freeze up and become completely unusable. I plugged it in my computer it activesync recognizes it. The only way the phone is usuable after that was:
A)Using SPB Backup (yeah i have EVERY SPB product. Torrent downloaded with product keys lol) and booting into Safe Mode
B)Reflashing............

So im reflashing my phone now

nah it is not from kaiser.....

BUT they also do not use it....cause it is a little buggy on our devices.

as i said the HYBRID is faster thatn the complete build :D

MAYBE we should try 20226/19949? maybe the xip is good but sys not :D

I can only compare this Version with the RC 2 until now but here are my impressions:
It takes longer than usual fo flash but runs faster. I launched some apps und suddenly got it freeze because auf less Ram but it wasn´t too less.
After Softreset i tryed to get it freezed again ( This time bigger Apps like playing day of the Tentacle and listening MP.3 and some small Apps in Backround) but no Freeze.
When i am in icontacts and push the telephone button i get to Programms sometimes...
Wlan is working good.

What should the fifth Button on third Row in BS do :confused: ?

That´s all i can tell right now.

OH i see you are NOT following my thread!!!!

hahaha. It is voicemail! the american user wanted to have inside. BUT you have a skin for BS without it as well. JUST select different skin in bs-optins :D

and yes. i´m still thinking hybrid 20202 is better thatn 20226....

OK worked hole day on getting settingpage working. but no succes.

Tomorrow i will uplaod a public Beta...

it is mising
- slidingsound.ink
- wifisettings.ink

BUT you can reach slidingsound in \windows

and wifi settings via taphold on topbar wifi

doesnt happen a lot, in fact after another round of testing and reboot havent seen it pop back up yet.

so far working smooth as silk papa. did you take out ciclebt in this full version? also this is herald not wing as far as the keyboard goes. also dont forget people to reset the today screen settings inside task/calendar to english from german if you use tasks.

also noticed you changed test.bat to refresh.bat, fooled me a little :)

looking good tho, looking real good. was having issues with MSVC Voice Command out of nowhere on RC2 micro but now it is working great again.

papa, you didnt make any major changes to the theme xml for batterystatus right? i am using my modified one from before since it was already customized.

One last thing. hibernate does not work well wil MS Voice COmmand. Hibernate kills some of the processes that are resident for it to function, so i make sure to take the hibernate off the BS topbar so i dont accidentally kill MSVC

I modded BS theme to new areas on topbar with ontap-commands for hibernate, refresh...

yes ciclebt gone cause it is in tobbar...

and graphics...will come...

did you upload updated version to first post or is it same file?

I have to hard reset or reflash as suddenly i now cannot access my pda from computer with a usb cable, just does nothing, hoping hard reset or new flash fixes. happens on two different computers, just suddenly, when 30 minutes before it worked fine.

*update* reflashed to micro rc5 and it connects again. thank goodness. ill beta test this again when you up a new version. have to hav a working version when i go to work :) i dont necessarily think it was this beta that caused the error, though, just a coindidence probably,. as it connected fine when i first flashed it

Like this it gonna be easier to track changes.

I think i wills top working on this rom...cause it is slower than RC5 hybrid...

and why should we go wiht bugs...just to have a higher build number?? no that´s not ITsPapaWay.
