With your PDA in a passive holder attached onto the dashboard it is always within easy reach -safe and convenient. The holder is mounted onto a tilt swivel so it is adjustable for avoiding light reflection on the screen. It is easy to put the PDA in the holder, and to take it out of the holder. You can connect e.g. a charging cable to the PDA when it is in the holder. Attach onto ProClip Mounting Platform.
Item no. 848843 fits:
HTC Touch Diamond For all countries
I am praying for a active holder!!!! Then i'm very Happy!

You can pre-order one from here: Linky (http://www.dsldevelopments.com/brodit/Holder/HTC+Touch%20Diamond-Brodit-Holder.asp) for £24.95 (Passive) and £34.98 )Active).
There doesnt seem to be a release date though.
Hope this helps.

Anyone aware of a bike-mount for this holder?
Richter have a bike-mount converter for their holders but the brodit holders look nicer/less clunky.
Also what is the difference active and passive?

Will it fit the diamond with extended battery also or will there be a different version? Just a thought maybe someone knows.
Thanks!

I got this cradle (843843 Holder with 3-in-1 Adapter - 40 cm adapter cable), and I'm not happy at all. It has no microphone and you can't use it for handsfree calling (damn, even the cheap Y-Cable from HTC allowed me do that!), and I don't know if it's something related to the cooked rom i recently installed, but my Diamond, when plugged, goes into headphone mode 1 time on 10... :(
Audio quality is like the Y-Cable, less noise when charging and playing music (this is probably the only pro...).
