Tomtom 7

Just to say that tomtom 7 is working perfectly on Polaris and very faster than the 6 to find GPS.
Just a CAB to install (the version come from the HTC diamond) and a map download from tomtom site.

There is no ttsystem on/for PDA/PPC this file is made on PNA!

woohoo! Tomtom 7 at last. How long have we all been waiting for this?

Note - it replaced my tomtom6 (using Bepe's 0.67 rom) and now I can't use my version 6 maps (& have no access to all my favourites)

You can download one City map for free though.

Modified version of Tomtom 7 (BlueV3) can see my V6 maps without the need for a crack.:D

TomTom Navigator 7.450 (9028) with tomtom_map_6.75_DE_AT_and_CH_plus_major_roads_of_W E 1409 works without a problem.

after install it detected the maps. then asks for the registration code and refers you to tt.code.com. same procedure as first activation from tomtom6. i used my productcode from the o2 custom rom tomtom.

i dont know if mapshare is working, but seems yes.


about tt7. is much faster. i get a fix within 2 seconds

It's a pity on my opinion to install v7 and use v6 maps...The major interest is to have updated maps wich can be bought on tomtom site or downloaded from some warez sites...

I just install the black version repack 3 and the lastest rom v7 and i just say it's very fast to find gps signal, it seems more faster too and love the black skin.

Just chipping in to say I've been using TomTom 7 for the last week or so on my Orbit2/polaris and its been working really well. It does appear to be getting a signal a lot quicker than the last version, I'm not sure why it would do that but I'm not complaining. The UI is tidier and the maps are great.

It did take a bit of fiddleing to get it set up properly but I got there in the end!

I install TomTom Navigator 7.450 on my TC, but the font size is very big. Is there a solution to setup the font size?

I solved the font size problem by using the repack2 sofware. Use Google to find it.

My TomTom 7 is so slow... It finds connection really fast. But the animation while driving is so slow. The position of the flash moves only every 2 seconds... any idea?

The same here. TT 7.450 (9028), I´m using the black edition, detected my regulary bought 6.75 Western Europe map without any problem. No new activation needed. Everything works fine so far.

But that is not the problem...

TomTom6 worked fine with 3d-maps and every ROM I installed! TomTom7 is very slow... the flash only moves every 5 seconds on the map and I have no clue why...

my tomtom cant get any signal... my gps i cant set my gps config. and any ports :s
