hi, i finally installed gsen after 2wks of reading forums & posts about it, listening to issues, taking notes and generally getting confident i understand it. so, i installed it and can't get it to run.
all settings appear correct.

when i select the top of the 3 gsen folders, it shows a window that says: statusON unload or cancel
i select load, but at no time has it ever displayed the pixel icon, even tho show setting is on, and at no point has it ever rotated my screen.

i've never used the EDIT/LEARN function, do i need to?

i dont know how to check what rom i have (is that settings/system/about/...build? i have the cdma sprint version

This doesn't work on all ROM,s but I don't know which do and which don't. I'm on Shaks v4.0 and GSen works SOME of the time - not all.

If you are getting the Status On window then I reckon you've installed it OK.

Check your ROM Start\Settings\System\Device Information

Great software. Unfortunately I have what might be a deal breaker for me

not sure if everyone else has the same problem with this great piece of software but most of the applications and TF3D definitely runs much slower if I have Gsen loaded and running.

It is particularly slow if I have flipped orientation in a program leave and go back to TF3D. Don't really want to lose the functions of the software but response times way to slow.

Coincidently it switches orientation very quickly just to wind me up even more

Any help would be greatly recieved

I could not figure out any way to get GSen to cooperate on my Touch Pro. Gyrator 2 works pretty well though. Not sure if that helps the developer any to narrow down what is different.

Is it possible to rotate in window were I write SMS, and get a full querty keyboard?

I'm using GSen on WM 6.5 and it works great.
Except for the fact I can't exclude the lockscreen.

And I would like to only rotate the screen when I turn my phone to the left. Is that possible? So only switch between 0 and 270 degrees. (or 0 and 90, doesn't matter to me)

In touch hd, gsen works fine, i has tested girator, but for me gsen is better.
sometimes i have a problem in the main menu, when i gyre it, image crash for 1 or 2 seconds, after that it fixes, and works fine. new version must correct it.:)

I have the HTC Touch Pro from Alltel and can not seem to get this program to work. I have gone through the read me file but don't understand what i am doing wrong..... Any help???

Hey, CharlyV, how would I go about increasing the sensitivity to be as responsive as HTC Album and Opera (esp v9.7b1, very fast rotation)? Btw, I love the prog. THE most responsive, quickest screen rotation thus far.

I have installed GSEN but the screen is not rotating for me on any app. I can see the one pixel on the top of the screen indicating that GSEN is running. Do I need to unlock the device to work GSEN? My device is not unlocked...meaning I have not done HardSPL or ROM or radio update. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.

It will only rotate in the programs folder, then open the program you want. Will not rotate at will. :(

Yes, exactly correct. I have a Sprint Diamond and some programs will rotate (e.g.: Resco File Explorer) -- but most won't. For example, the Pocket Office Suite (word, excel, etc) will not rotate. But, if I am already rotated when I launch those programs, they will work.

Also, I seem to be having sporadic issues with other features not working (e.g.: sometimes 180 Turn Off works, other times it doesn't).

I want to exclude the telephone menu with gsen cfg by this: #window(name of program)
So...what is the name of the program that open the telephone menu?

im trying to use the following configuration:

#window(Total Commander/CE)

#timeout(100)
#onlyfor(1)

but it works only for the config program. i have tried, the process name and the window class also, but with no effect. i cant use this with the Total Commander. When i use #onlyfor(0), it works also with Total Commander. Im using a XDA Diamond. Do you have any idea?

apologies for this. im new on here, and i have an HTC touch diamond. im not familiar with all these technical stuff, but i downloaded the Gsen cab file and installed it. Is there anything else i need to do, to ensure that all other screens and applications auto rotate?

please note, i dont have a clue about these things.

okay, i managed to figure it out. any idea though, as to how i can make the settings rotate? Programme screen rotates, but not the settings screen?
