thanks SuperSport! you are extremely helpful. this seems to be older build and many OEM apps were included. the free internal ROM seems very limited. well, i had tried karmba's ROM once and very happy with the performance, i'm gonna give this a try since it's already last ROM from him. good work Karmba and we hope we will have chance to see you back here one fine day.

I will say. This ROM performs beautifully. The tabs ALL appear to work properly, and quickly. BUT, as with all the M2Ds, memory is greatly effected.

Although, for an M2D, Very Nice, as always karmba_a.

Flashed the latest v12 ROM on the P3600i. My observations so far is BT doesn't work in V12 and HTC Album cannot play 3gp and mp4 videos.

Any other user facing the same problem?

did nothing, when tested the incall volume, was able. But if you're behind in the forum will see how to resolve this situation.
My problem now are multimedia files (mp4) simply clears the screen.

Just some things I experienced with this new release:
Pros:
1- As all manila ROM's, the aspect is very beautiful
2- Also I like very much the dialer-where to find it???
3- I like ROM's with programs already cooked in it. It's way better than to install cabs yourself.
If you install cab's ROM speed decreases considerably, and also installed cab's occupy ~50% more space than the cooked ones (as far I was informed)

Cons:
1- Power consumption is HUGE. My battery just drain from 100% to 10% in only 8,5 hours:eek:
Let me say I didn't installed nothing, and made only 3 minutes in just one call.
My conclusion is that something is very wrong somewhere.
2- Cannot watch previous Trinity recorded videos. everything is black.

Conclusion:
Manila work fine and it's beautiful, but battery drain it's just not acceptable.

Solution: install DotFred's awesome Task Manager tool if not already using
it. See this link to download.

In upper right corner of utility screen, press drop-down arrow and select Services. Look for HTCVOLUME(VOL0 : ). This is the app behind the new UI that has the volume slider bar stack that we see in these newer ROMs. You need to remove this in the workaround here to get the old wheel behavior back while in a call. YMMV. Limited testing thus far, but sure seems OK to me.

Press and hold stylus over this HTCVOLUME(VOL0 : ) choice. Choose Stop.
Press and hold stylus over this HTCVOLUME(VOL0 : ) choice. Choose Set Manual.

Soft-reset.

Great rom, but i can't download weather data :( I try replace original manila2d.exe with patched one (found it on this forum) and still i got "unable to retrive data to your location" message... I tried difent cities, connection (wifi, gprs, AS-USB) and still nothing.... Any ideas?

I have been using this ROM for 2 days now- seems to be running great- fast, looks great. stable.

not sure about the free memory though- Manilla seems to use a lot of memory- it did struggle when i was using core player with bluetooth along with MySportTraining at the gym...... wonder if a different player would use less memory..... WMP sucks in comparison as there is no equalizer..... any suggestions? What is the free version of core player again?

I had it installed last week and really liked the default S2U2 skin and config/setup but now I've changed ROM but my S2U2 doesn't look as good as this one.

Hi Karmba,

When I play any song with WMP from tab, It have not volume buttons, but when I run File explorer and double click in a song, the WMP look with all buttons (volume button in left screen). Whats happend?

Another bug in power settings, when you have turn on "Turn off if device is not used for 30 seconds f.e., and you have playing a song, when the song arrived 30 seconds an error look in the screen. It is resolved turning off it setting .

Another think is when run Tomtom or Opera Browser from aplications tab from Touch 3d, both are closed to me. Also it has happened to me with other aplications.

yeah there are lots of bugs in Karmba.. i don't know about this last version but i had Karmba_a Diamond Blue For Trinity v11[1].3.exe installed / flashed to my device and i had numerous problems..

- slow video play
- very slow youtube video (it buffers fine but video framerate are very low)
- at the end of video playback it says can't open this type of mp4 or something (somehow i got this working eventually)
- storage space gets amazingly low for no reason and i can't get it back up (storage less than 7mb!?)
- programs get closed automatically (from time to time) without warnings
- when i play music / mp3s from manila, it plays for a few secs then stops (somehow i got this working eventually)
- there are no bluetooth (mono) streaming, i had to manually tweak the registry for this
- sometimes when i am working on a different program, all of a sudden the phone switches itself back to the front (manila) screen.

must say there are lots of bugs on that version, not sure if this version had eliminated all of that (especially the storage memory issue!)

just one litle thing.. that may be get it bether... when we call to someone, or receive a call... the foto needed to be biger... mutch bigger .. perhaps like full screen whit transparent num pad.. i dont know.. but bigger would be great

A quastion. I used karmba_a V8.0 and upgraded to 11.3 Worked like a charm. the only thing was an error but it was easely fixed by reseating the USB cable.

Well my Quastion: The weather dont seems to work in my region (Sweden/Helsingborg) it updates but no info is wisible. Well it can be me that dont have the right settings. Do you or anyone else know how to fix this??

In use: 12.15 MB
Free: 27.70 MB

I should have total 128 MB, should not I?

Program:
Total: 48.68 MB
In use: 31.39 MB
Free: 17.29 MB

Is it normal that only 17 is free?

and put it on my HTC 3600 works really good I love it. No problems so far great ROM. is this rom is the latest one ?
YOUTUBE runs little slower, that might be my net speed, I have saved on memory card some files downloaded from youtube I can not run it, can someone guide me how to play it -

I can't send or receive MMS to.

When my trinity receive a MMS i shows only the contact details, but the download button dont appear enable to select.

Any fixes?

About video playback, photos and other things i don't have any problems..

The only one its when i try to play youtube in high quality, the fps are to slow.

hey everyone!
i msut say i really like this rom because it looks very nice and was well done. unfortunately though, i also noticed a few of these bugs, that come from time to time. when i open a program it closes again after a few seconds, so i always have to start programs twice. what's rather a bigger problem is, that i can't write any sms anymore. everytime i want to write a sms, my p3600 crashes completely and i have to soft reset it. that happens everytime, when i want to start writing a sms.
is there a solution to these problems?

there you will find a select box enabled by default (Enable advanced network functions) and try to deselect that box.

Try connect again.
