I´ve flashed the new PDAViet rom today.

It looks good, installed programs are ok. But the speed of the rom is not very good.

I use my Elfin also for navigation with mobile navigator. Only with ShadoW 2.1 TE the navigation is fast and in real time...

I´ve tested all roms which are here for download. But at the moment Shadow´s rom is the fastest usable rom for me.

You can trust me. I´ve tested all roms which were made available here since the last year. I´ve tested them of course only the way i use the touch. Therefor Shadows rom is the fastest.

In your opinion, which PagePool has the fastest/best performance since you tried most of the ROM?

I've been using 18PP, and it seems to be quite stable for me (with PDAViet V40)

I can´t say something about pagepool or something else. I think the composition makes the difference.

All roms for Elfin you can download here have been flashed to my device. Today i flashed back to ShadoW 2.1 TE `cause it´s the fastest rom on my elfin...

I just flash this version and it's fast as well. I think it may be difficult to really tell speed difference between ROMs because the difference is minor. So just choose the one you think is suitable for you and if one day you like to have another one, then just re-flash to another. There may not be the best one, but there may be a suitable one for you. So just go for it.

这三个版本速度都不错，内存感觉19214占用多一些。
现在用20226 pagetool 18M HTC Touch XL不支持HSDPA，不过设置中还有HSDPA的图标:confused:

Does anyone know if this ROM has fixed the bug in PCM keyboard where it can't print out the space bar? There was a hack where if you installed the HTC Touch Keyboard then PCM would start working again, but after a while the problem resumed.

Also another problem with the previous version of this ROM is that some fonts were too big in various places.

I was also finding an issue in HTC Touch Keyboard where it was printing symbols instead of letters, and 10 characters were being printed at a time instead of 1!

i didn't try PCM keyboard, but the problem exists with ZoomBoard!
i switch to Resco keyboard pro ,it works perfectly

Would love to hear more comments/concerns about this ROM. It's the fastest ROM for me but too many bugs at the moment (although I have not tried this new one!).

hi can any1 confirm when using AD2P with this rom, when WMP changes the song it release the lock ? i mean i play some song goes smoothly to my ad2p headset then i press power off, i put my elf in my pocket but after 1 song when i took out my elf, the screen is back on - setting is "lock all button except powerbutton" and im sure i didnt accidently press power. also will be better if this rom does not have HTC cube.

I have also tried a number of ROMs for my ELFin, but mainly the "big" brands, Mobiz, Viet, Shadow and Blue, each has their pros and cons, and for my needs and my apps combination, I find Shadow 2.1 TE is good for me, but I will need to do the PP change myself, I use 18MB PP.
