xda orbit wifi gone!!! literaly help

have installed an i phone them on my xda orbit, and have also messed with sdhc patch trying to get an 8gb memory card to work in it. alos is ok but now the wifi option in connections menu and als the wifi button the comes up on the today screen have gone!!!! it runs wm5 can any one help thanks

are you running the manufactors ROM or an extended ROM.

If it is an Extended ROM then you will be able to use the Advanced Settings in there to change the Comm Manager settings to re-add the WiFi Connection in there.

Other than that i do not know. It may be worth upgrading to one of the WM 6.1 ROMs on here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=362

If you decided to upgrade make sure you have had the phone CID unlocked or it may not work and you will brick your device.
