After reading the FAQ wiki:
I want to keep my Extrom unmerged, to enable easy reversion to WM2003 if need be later.
Can anyone advise if doing this hinders, or cripples the WM6 upgrade?

The statement that xplode makes below I do not understand?:
'You can use the extrom of my previous rom or cook your own'
