XDA 2i - Charging / Sync Port

Hi,

The charging and Sync Port on my XDA has stopped working. Is this an easy repair to do? I have managed to get a replacement part.

Does anyone have a repair guide for this unit?

Actually I did that with some contact cleaner and wrecked the screen so I may have to replace the latter :-(

I can still charge with the port if I lever the power connector up quite a bit but it's not ideal. I don't know if I can connect to the PC still.

Actually, the port was quite loose. I took the PDA apart to look at the screen connector and the port was completely detached from the board.

If I put it back it still just about charges, but does the port need soldering back?
