headset seidio in-ear isolator

I've bought this headset http://store.xda-developers.com/xproduct.php?xProd=1852 but it doesn't works with my htc cruise, why ?

In what way doesn't it work? No sound, or button doesn't work?

I bought one when I had the Artemis, it worked but the sound quality was terrible. I'm not sure that the build quality is any good now, they used to be very good. Support from Seidio was totally useless.

Did you have another headset connected before?
If you press and hold the stylus on the device in your bluetooth devices screen, you can also indicate the use you want to give to the headset. Have had something similar with my recently bought Stereo headset. The headset is paired, but it won't give any sound until I select it and indicate it can be used as audio headset.

This isn't a bluetooth headset, it's a hardware connection. Should work, most likely a faulty unit, return to Seidio.
