Reminds you of Unread SMS or Missed Call Notifications.
http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/5880/screen01b9ea2dmn2.png
Intervals for the alert is at 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 15 minutes.
The cab file will install the application in your \Program Files\OS Remind Me\ folder
Requirements:
WM5 - WM6.1 PPC
v1.2 changes:
- added vibra option
NOTE:
i used OpenNetCF API for the vibration. It calls on the Led notification of your device to cause the vibration. But not all devices have the same Led index to vibrate. So you have to click on the "Vibrate" menu item and see if your device vibrates. If not, increase the number shown by the textbox by increments of "1" then test the vibration again.
v1.1 changes:
- fixed reminder not playing when backlight is off
- changed UI
- user can now change the reminder sound through the application menu
To do:
- add option to remove tray icon
- add contacts' birthday reminder when application launches

Nice start - but it doesn't actually 'hide' when you select Hide. It just appears as an icon in the tray, taking up valuable today screen space. Can you give me an option to not display an icon?

Does vibrate work on every device? (does it go through that index?) I'm up to 76 on my i780 and still nothing...
super handy app though (thanks for making it :))
It'd be handy to have the app autohide on start so we can use it as a startup app. :D

Try to set it at "0". This index worked on mine. :)

Great one man and thanks.
You may try these codes to find the appropriate LED for vibration automatically...

Hello
(I was the first person to put a message on your blog)
When I saw version 1.2 (with vibrating), I tested it right away.
Install is quick and the vibrating option was allready at "1" and working with a phonecall :)
Tested on ASUS P535 : WM6 with CF 2.0.7045.0
Just a little thing : is it possible to do something with the RAM usage ???

Hi oldsap,
Is it possible to have a shortcut with autohide, that we can place in the startup folder?
If you can see to reduce the ram usage
Tanks for your effort

Great Program!!!!
2 suggestions. The first would be a start up value. Is it possible to run as a process in the back ground with out having to launch the full program itself? What I mean is, If I place the program as it is in the start up it launches the calibration tool in your first screen shot. I would like to be able to launch the program as a process without having to hide the calibrator.
Second suggestion is to have the program ignor the initial alert or phone call. Right now when I get a new sms my system plays the sound I have a assigned and right behind it and sometimes almost on top of it is the OS Remind Me sound.
thanks,
Curious G

fixed this bug :)
Awesome, great work! when do you think you will have an update to the fix? And also, if not to much of a pain, is it possible to get it to open in hide mode after a soft reset? And one last thing.. sorry for being so picky... is there a registry edit to get rid of the line that divides the program and the today screen... it kinda ruins the wallpaper would prefer just a bubble showing in hide mode rather then a bubble with a line above it. Thank you in advance for your useful application!

Sorry what i mean is. Is it possible to get it to Auto run after a soft reset and it automatically going into hide mode without having to go into the /program files/OS Remindme folder and launching it , then hiding it?
thanks in advance!

i was thinking that since i am using 2 applications individually, why not combine them.
So i've integrated the remind me feature with another application of mine called OIST
Oldsap's
Individual
Sms
Tones
can you please try this out?
http://i34.tinypic.com/icig6c.png
the application will automatically hide and show an icon at the bottom of the today screen.
i haven't added the auto run after a soft reset yet but you can create a shortcut in your \Windows\StartUp folder
You can find out more about it here:
http://oldsap.blogspot.com/2008/07/oist-v12.html
i'll change my first post also later on :)

that happens because i am using WM's Picture Dialogue to select a tone :)

in VB .NET
Dim session As New Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Forms.SelectPictureDialog
session.Filter = "wav files (*.wav)|*.wav"
session.InitialDirectory = "\"
If session.ShowDialog = Windows.Forms.DialogResult.OK Then
'Do something here
End If
