Unable to start Camera. Unable to initialize camera

Hi all,

I had a problem with my secondary (front) camera. When I switch my camera from main camera to the secondary camera of my Dopod D810, it suddenly shutdown and stated 'Unable to start Camera. Unable to initialize camera'. I had upgraded my D810 to Windows Mobile 6.0 (official ROM) from HTC. According to the HTC customer service, it might have an internal hardware problem.

So, anyone of you having similar problem like me here ? Any workaround for this ?

I had a similar problem recently on a Kaiser Device, it was easily fixed by flashing a new radio rom. Try searching for an updated radio rom (one that's suitable for WM6).

My Dopod D810 is currently on WM6.0 (ROM version: 3.00.707.28) and my radio version is 1.46.30.11. My protocol version: 32.79.7020.19H.

Are you able to suggest me which radio ROM suitable for my unit ? I'm a bit skeptical if the new radio ROM able to solve the problem but anyway I will not know if it is really work without try it first ! :p

Sorry I can't help any further. It's only a suggestion based on a previous problem that I had. You need to do some googling and searching on this forum. There are newer radio roms that are easy to find with a little searching.

I had upgraded my radio ROM but it doesn't fix the secondary camera problem. I suspected it is more to hardware related.
