Original HTC Diamond Leather Case

I don't really know if anybody else got this in his OEM HTC Diamond box...

But for sure, it's include in the French Orange Diamond package :

When the phone rings in this leather case, before I pick it out, the connecton is opened oder canceled, because display is active in the case while I am taking it out?!?!?!

Is there any way to disable display when somebody is calling, in order not to activate it in leathe case?

The HTC logo side is the back of this case. Put the Diamond in screen facing the flat side...

there is no htc logo on the o2 case!! what is the difference?

If you put your fingers inside, you will feel that the nylon strap which constitutes the bottom of the case is smoother on one side than on the other. At least, that is the case on mine, which came from the Orange package. This corresponds to the side without the HTC logo.

it's a pitty that the pre-orders have to pay an extra amount of money to get this leather case, while it is now included in the OEM HTC Diamond box.
I really think HTC launched the phone to fast(maybe because the iphone), so the send out HTC OEM Diamonds without leather cases(just not ready yet), wich in my opinion is really bad for a phone rated at €450.

It was not in the box of mine touch diamond UK(ordered in the netherlands) so I bought one for about 30 euros

It's totally unclear to me how in Europe, although the price is virtually the same, some countries get the case and some not. This means that for us who don't, the same package is about 8% more expensive.

I wonder how in heavens can HTC justify this. Actually I know the answer: they don't...

I do not think this original pouch is made of leather.
I took it apart, it looks like durable plastic to me.

For HTC Brand .. the case is not incuded.. but if you get from vodafone(NL) the case is included !!

I've buy from ebay an "htc leather case" like the genuine and it's fit perfect :)
Seems to be a good quality, but will certainly have the same default as the original: the rubber on all the side, wich suffer after few months ...

Its already started to wear out (Corners fraying/splitting)....Im looking at an alternative, even though I love the look of the HTC one.

It happens to me when I'm trying to take the phone from my pocket. So I'll repeat the question - Is there any way to disable display when somebody calling? And only leave the bottom buttons active?

You could try locking the phone before you put it in, i'm not sure because I've never had this issue.

Here is my problem. I bought this case yesterday, it is really cool, good looking and Diamond looks cool in it :D BUT!!!

When someone calls me, I have to "slide" the phone out of the case, and that movement makes my phone to pick up the call itself, because of the contact between the case and display... So I cant see who exactly is calling and I cant decide if I wanna pick it up or not, cause the case picks it up for me :D
Is there anything that can help me?? I dont know what exactly I am looking for, something like function "Pick up the phone only via hw button" or something, cause all I see now is to buy another different case, and I dont wanna because this one is really cool....

mine doesn't wake up on the center button-touching :confused:
have a look in the settings, maybe it can be switched off
and to prevent accidental answering, the slide2answer was developed ;)

I'm not talking about it waking up with the center button.
When a reminder goes on, the screen turns on (normal behaviour), but then it continues to stay on because the center button is being touched by the case.

I know you can work around it by disabling the screen turning on during a reminder, but I don't want to do that.

Install S2U2, then you can solve your problem no matter how you put your unit in that leather case.:)

you know the touch diamond fits perfectly in an ipod mini sock! this is what i use, you can take it out and put it in with ease.
