View Full Version : Announcement: First GER WM6.1 for Atom Pure

Install notes:
I tried it many times but this ROM cannot be installed through MiniSD, so you need the latest official ROM package from o2 to flash this ROM! This ROM can be found on my own site, PPCFreaks.de (look below this little guide for the link to the original thread @PPCFreaks.de)!

The downloaded WinRAR archive contains two files: diskimge_Ver.nb0 nd ExtendedRom.img! After executing Xda-Atom-ENG-20060426-MOT0822.exe, make sure you have replaced the diskimage_Ver.nb0 and ExtendedRom.img in C:\Windows\Temp, were the install files will be extracted!

Before proceeding here, replace the mentioned files in C:\Windows\Temp!!!

After replacing the files, continue with the installer and after 20-30 minutes you have flashed this ROM and yout Atom Pure is speaking with you in german! :)




Release notes:
Most programs are now in german, the keyboard has the german QWERTZ-layout and some other bugfixes!

I don't know if this ROM is also flashable for the normal Atom, test it out at your own risk!

Great, I think you need to directly port from a german SYS. So the keyboard and other porblem will be solved. Also, the stability will increase too! Packagetools will help you sort out the ROM. Replace the whole SYS and edit the initfiles.dat.

I know the procedure on how to translate a ROM but thanks fort your tipps!
The most annoying part in translating is to modify the images in Extended ROM! It tooks me hours of time! :(

It is not very popular here for a German rom because atom/6828 releases only in AP areas. So only 7 persons have downloaded my German 6828 rom.

Are the XDA Atom and the XDA Atom pure the same device (just in different color)?

Ich suche schon ewig nach nem deutschen ROM, wäre super, wenn das auf meinem Atom (ohne pure) läuft :)

Ja. Atom pure ist eine Sonderausgabe des Atoms mit die weiße Farbe. Sie können natürlich alles ROM des Atom pure zum Atom flash!
