Can the clock change the rule for 12 hours? ?

Great app.

Been using it for 5 days now and I had changed the date format - everything worked fine. Yesterday I opened up the app to change the order of tabs and clicked Save. Now my date shows "IDS_DATEFOR7AT", missed calls show "IDS_NOMISSEDC..." and Calendar shows "IDS_NOAPPOINT...".

When I go back into TF3D Config to select the language to get the proper text back, I select English and I get a message box saying "Config file not found! Select a different language!". This happens for every language.

How do I get the proper text appearing without doing a hard reset? I'm using 0.5.1.

I really like the new feature in which you can add your own registry edits! This makes it easy to fully restore from a hard reset, without the time consuming entering of registry tweaks manually.

Furthermore I like the program launcher add-on to add program's which are not listed. Unfortunately it is not possible to paste a link, so you've got to type it manually.

I love touchflo but the calendar feature sucks, it only shows 2 appointments, and it doesn't show an appointment that occurs on the same time as another, it only show one of them.

So if you could find out how to fix this with TF3d Config I would be very happy. If you also could add todo to touchflo it would be even better. :)

But are the text-labels in the tabs also editable? For example in the mail section: in stead of having "More" (which opens the email-inbox) and "Menu" (which has: "New email / Accounts and Send+Recieve") I'd like to add an extra line to menu which is "Delete" seeing the enormous amounts of spam-mail I recieve.

Or I'd like to add an icon where you have the "Write new email message" I'd like to have one with "Delete this spam-mail and send this person to hell".

I have a probleme with my htc diamond FRE by orange. Yesterday i install and configure TF3D config on my diamond, everything works fine...

And this afternoon i was surfed on the web and my phone blocked and Halt (black screen)

Now when i try to start, the orange's logo show in screen and after 5 second the phone power off !? :eek:

anybody can help me to fix this problem? Do i a hard reset ? how to process to hard reset.

It's a .cab. Just put it on your Diamond (without extracting it) with ActiveSync and launch it from your Diamond.
PocketPCs use .cab as install progs.

You slide left pull the tabs on the right to the left - thus into view - makes sense to me.

If you slid right and the GUI slid left in response it would look very strange :eek:

This would be the ultimate! So the new version will have the ability to change theme related things, eg. such as changing the current default black color TouchFlo3D to Vodafone's White/Red TFlo3D, if I've not mistaken. That would be sweeeeeeeet!

I am having the problem that cannot install the cab, with message like "installation fail". I haven't installed any previous versions. I try another cab and they work, may be it's the compiler problem?

Guys I found the tricks. Cab file won't work if you copy it to your PDA in drive mount mode. It only works when you copy the file by Activesync.....god....

At least I have no problem with all cab files which I hv problem before, hope this help.

I had tested Danish language too, its same problem. When I return back to English language, its everythik OK.

When I have for example the build-in File Explorer opened, I can't see the themes in TF3D Config, too. This is a problem of Windows Mobile.

Same, if you connected your mobile device as removable storage to your pc, an application cannot access to the internal storage then.

You have to change the current folder in your File Explorer, and then close it. If the last current folder is the theme-folder and you close your file explorer, it won't work.

The name of the Internal Storage Folder in any language is not the cause.

This is because the folders are in the registry and are linked to the language also. So there have to be added a few keys (or the originals have to be renamed ;))

I would like to know how your theme changer modifies my system files. It is simply replacing the manila files in the windows directory or does your tool create its own files? Most important: Its possible to completely undo the theme changing and to rebuild the tf3d like before?

When you say you changed the language to english, you have to replace every _0413 in the keys with _0409 because my example was for dutch. When you look at the key "CurLang" in [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\MUI] you can see (and change :)) the language code for TF3D. In your case that would be 409 hex.

So yours should be:

Not to nag you, but I've copied all the .theme files to "Internal Storage\Themes" but the combobox to select a theme stays empty. I checked the key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\File Explorer\StorageCardPath" and that is just another path on the Internal Storage, so that shouldn't be the problem. Tried to soft reset, but nothing :confused:

I'm using Diamond Project Rom 2.0 WWE from dutty and tom and have applied the .cab for the colorfull TF3D icons from tom.
I have tried it both with CurLang on 413h and also on the default 409h.

Hope to have given you enough info. If you need more... just say it :D

Your Registry is wrong! Maybe this is caused by a bad ROM or a bad tweak tool!

Check this key:

HKLM\Drivers\TouchPanel

The value PressureThreshold should be a DWORD (REG_DWORD)

(Many people have this problem and got STRING (REG_SZ) for PressureThreshold, but this is wrong!)

You have two options:

1.: You delete the tweak.xml in program directory of my tool
OR
2.: You change PressureThreshold to DWORD in Registry

Alot of positive reactions on this program, but i've got a problem. Since I started messing around with the language (Dutch>English.... just to test the function) of TF3D, with version 0.5.1 on my Dutch 1.35.0 ROM. TF3D won't startup anymore. It asks to tap the screen to start, but when i do, in a glimps i can read that it isn't able to. Then it shows "Tap to start" again... HELP :eek: Is there a way to undo al the changes the program made and get the original manila back...

mmm don't want to go offtopic, but the thems doesn't appair in the drop down box, even after I renamed the Themes folder.. (from Themes >> Theme >> Themes)

Does it stopped while copying the dll-file? If you don't know try it again.

If it is so, please contact the developers of TLR, because all with TLR have this problem, so there is something wrong with the rom...

BTW: The Orange Lite Theme is without those dlls, so try the lite theme, because "Orange Downloads" and "Orange TV" in Orange Theme should not work at the moment... or maybe only on Diamonds from Orange, but I can't test it, because I've a O2 XDA Diamond.

Great to be able to move the icons in the programs-tab. But they can only hold 18 icons. I tried to add more places for icons manually in the registry (read it somehwere), but the empty places showed up, but Icouldn't place incons there...

Only way round this I have found is to load up your Diamond with good quality pics (into an album in your pictures folder) and then choose these.

I have some loverly Nikon D70 quality pics of my 'People' :D

I'll release a new version tomorrow with the following features:

1.: Use new Themes, which I upload to tomorrow too. With the new Themes you can change the whole theme of your Diamond. So if you change from O2 Theme to HTC Theme everything is exactly as on the original HTC ROM. That means, all Theme Files will change TF3D, Comm Manager, WM-Theme (Titlebar, etc.), etc.
2.: Restore-Function to restore default theme (that means you get your 10-20 MB space and the original theme on your ROM back).
3.: Before a theme will changed, all old theme-files will be deleted to get more free space!
4.: tweaks which don't work because of a damaged registry (caused by bad ROMs or bad tweaking-tools) will not be displayed anymore and so my app will not crash on start

This would not really be TF3D-related right - what solved this for me is attached cab.

by the way: If you know Total Commander, you know, that you have to touch your display sometimes, when you copy many files, so that your device will not go to standby. With my tool you don't need this! My tool prevents your device going to standby while copying the new theme. So you don't have to touch the whole time on your display ;-)

Lol, looks like we we're all too fast. It's working now though. Thanks a lot for the program! I previously added the HTC Black theme and just restored the original T-Mobile theme.

Everything seems to be working fine, except for the fact that the fontcolor in the titlebar is black and the bar is also black. Next to that everything seems to be working. I noticed that it is showing my SIM contacts again though, even though I changed the registry value. Is it supposed to do that?

Anyway, I'm going to apply the HTC Black theme again. Thanks again!

Hm, weird for me to get my white text back in the titlebar I had to select my original theme (T-Mobile) in Start > Settings > Today > View. There I selected T-Mobile instead of Htc black (which I didn't have before; I'm guessing this is part of the new version) and I got my white text back!

With the File explorer, go to \Program Files\Diamond TF3D Config
do a long press on the tweaks.xml file and choose delete.

Thanks a lot for your answer, but in "program files", when I press on Diamond TF3D config, nothing appears ! the application tries to begin and I have the message error : " error with Diamond TF3D Config.exe, action "details" or retry... in details, I can read : NullreferenceException and some lines :

Etc...
I am a little lost...

I have create a folder "Themes" on the internal storage, but the program did not found the themes.

What did i make wrong?

Hi, I had same problem - the theme files were in Internal Storage\themes but the Config program didn't show them. A soft-reset fixed it.

I had the same problem that no themes were appearing ,then I unchecked the Call History tab (from Tabs)and the themes appeared,it seems that the Themes do not have a call history tab so when it is checked they do not appear.Just uncheck the call history and all should be fine.

If I try to change the language of the TouchFlo (in Romanian) I have the errors like: IDS_PHONE for Phone (Telefon in Romanian)
If I change the theme (one of the new Htc black...), it is still difficult to read black on black (in settings, volume for ex)

This s a problem of missing *_manila XML config files for your language. I had it to, in czech.

How to solve:
- downgrade to your previous ROM, copy all *_manila files from \Windows\ to your desktop and find the one that have tour language inside (ro-ro).
- then update to new ROM and copy these *_manila files back (should be about 19 files) to \Windows\ and you're done mate :)
- or I can send you all the *_manila files per e-mail, I have them all

No, that is not the cause.

Windows Mobile sucks! That's the truth!

As I said, so many times you: You have to copy the files with Active Sync, after copying open file explorer and look in which folder it is. If it is in the themes-folder you have to open a parent folder (Internal Storage, or better: My Device). Then close File Explorer and then open my tool.

If you copy the files via Harddisk-Mode, you maybe have to rename the folder to "theme" and then back to "themes".

Windows Mobile is locking the folder, because it always locking the storage card (windows mobile doesn't know, that the diamond has no real storage card...)

Put this in the themes thread, but thought it may be of use in here for other MDA users.

themes works with my T-mobile MDA Compact IV perfectly. am using the extended Black coloured theme.

only prob i had was that i couldn't see the themes listed, but doing the rename trick sorted that.

am new to all this, only got the phone on saturday, so had twitchy arse syndrome watching the install.

Has made the phone much better. the only bad comments I have had about the phone is the girly pink T-Mobile theme. Now its gone I can be all macho again!!

no slow operation or any problems yet. will keep you informed.

This software is awesome :) but with the latest update, it took away most of my cities in the weathertab. I'm from Denmark and now I can only choose from four cities, before this update I had like 20 to choose from...!? How can I restore my default weather cities ?
BTW I have already gone back to default in the prog, but still only four cities... I even uninstalled your app, but still only four cities... :oP
Oh and one more thing, the cities aren't spelled right anymore either...

Use WeatherDB edite by mains found somewhere ells in here. Worked with my Norwegin ROM.

I am having a weird problem configuring the TF3D tabs. I keep seeing the Music and Photos/Videos tab, and not the Internet tab, while I want to hide the former 2, and show the latter. No matter what I change in the TF3D config, after the reset the Music and Photos/Videos tab are still there, while the Internet tab isn't.

I run the SwiftBL 3.2 ROM, which comes with the 0.6 version of TF3D Config. I manually installed the 0.6.5 version. I also installed the extra missed call tab (here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410180)).

Here is a picture of the Config tool on my device. Weird thing: the Photos/Videos tab and the Music tab are displayed twice.

Is there any way to go back to a completely fresh TF3D besides hard resetting the device? Or any other solutions?

hi, guys! Really need your expert helps here..I got my Vodafone Htc Diamond on Monday and trying to install Diamond TF3D config setup. I followed the instructions; creating folder "Themes" in Internal Storage, unzip the file and copy to the internal storage. Open file explorer and click on setup ..and all i get is Opera opening and nothing else....what I am doing wrong?

Workaround for background image in startmenu:

If you changed your theme and the starmenu background image is still the same after softreset:

Change in: HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu
the value for ManilaCustomTexture to "\Windows\stBackImage.png".

If ManilaCustomTexture not exist, create it.

For all who getting an exception while starting my tool:

Your Registry is wrong! Maybe this is caused by a bad ROM or a bad tweak tool!

Check this key:

HKLM\Drivers\TouchPanel

The value PressureThreshold should be a DWORD (REG_DWORD)

(Many people have this problem and got STRING (REG_SZ) for PressureThreshold, but this is wrong!)

You have two options:

1.: You delete the tweak.xml in program directory of my tool
OR
2.: You change PressureThreshold to DWORD in Registry
