Point the "Photos and Videos" save and view folder back to normal after changed language:

For example : Change English to T.Chinese

Change value from 409 (Hex) or 1033(DWORD) to 404 (Hex) or 1028 (DWORD)

That seems to work, thanx a million! Your tool still shows Settings and Music double, but I guess removing the settings from the _disabled tile will fix that too?

Yes that will fix it.

The problem was, that you installed the call history tab from fabliv.

Just use my themes or you should delete the _disabledtabs-File after replacing the 26948339_manila with another one.

Not sure if this is a bug ... so just for your information: when I've installed TF3D Config and changed the theme (from the original O2 into HTC black - downloaded from the link mentioned also here) there were still blue strips on the top and bottom of the screen left. They disappeared first when I've changed the theme in original windows' "Today" field again: after changing several themes and coming back into the black in the end I have got 'full' black theme finally...

Last night I figured out how to directly open a tab on touch flo 3d :-)

So as "Programs" open the programs tab, you will also add e.g. "weather", "music", "settings", etc. to the softkey to switch to each page ;-)

I have tried the new version and unfortunately I have a failure using it : error message, no way to make it work

Config.zip...

I am assuming you mean the TF3D Config file that is attached in the first post. If that is correct, read on. If not.. don't read.

Download the attachment.

Copy the file into your diamond (Bluetooth transfer or use file explorer while your phone is connected to the PC/Laptop with the USB).

On your diamond.. navigate to the file and tap on it. Follow instructions on your screen. (basically, tapping on stuff like yes, ok, next)

Done.

I have installed this utility and installed the HTC black theme. Install went ok, but now in my all programs list as well as the library list in the music play the text is black on black so is unreadable? it there any tweak or registry entry i can change to get the text colour white? Text looks fine on the other screens.

Great tool. One simple question. My diamond was shipped with SPL 1.37 I ugraded to offical spl 1.39.405.1. the tweaks where great for 1.37. I know the new rom has many changes are these tweaks going to improve my phone like before or are the performance tweak already in the new rom?

That is not true! There will not saved any file for backup! The original-theme is included in the ROM. So i just delete all the new files (after changing the theme) in the windows-folder.

The only thing my tool is saving for backup is the registry (only the color-settings). This need maybe less than 1 KB!

Text color for Startmenu and Comm Manager. The text color in program list is in the theme.

Themes with black color in program list have a white background (like original HTC Theme).

If you have black font color on black background image, you maybe use a very new manila-version which has changed something and maybe using other manila-files. I don't know.

I noticed this also when changing the standard theme into another. TF3D seems slower to react when switching tabs.

im using version 0.5.1, when i will translate TF3D to Czech language, abum is closing itself immediately after I open a picture. (i have not checked "forceHTCAlbumToClose")

I had tested Danish language too, its same problem. When I return back to English language, its everythik OK.

I have the same problem with the newest version 0.6.7. After switching the TF3D language to polish I am not able to Full Screen the pictures from the Photos & Videos tab. The pictures goes to Full Screen for about 1-2 seconds and it's closing automatically. I\ve noticed also a second type of behavior. The pictures stays in the Full Screen... but when I want to switch picture with a finger.. the picture remains the same. I am also not able to lunch the SlideShow.

All problems are gone after switching back to English!

Anyway.. great application, and good job!

In TF3D in the Contacts Tab if I Press the Call button it directly dials the number, what i want is that whenever I press the call button keypad should open and it should dial only when i click on the photo in the contacts tab. Is this possible.

When using AppToDate in Dutty's cooked ROM, I keep getting an update to "version 0.6.7.1" of Diamond TF3D Config, but although I install it, it keep showing up again every time I run AppToDate....

Prior to installing TF3D, TouchFlo was literally flying. Blazing fast. After installing TF3D with HTC Black Colored Extended theme, it's really sluggish. Press Home and wait about 3-4 seconds before the flip clock appears. Same with contacts and with email. The performance tweaks don't seem to help a lot.

I've tried to remove TF3D. But it doesn't get removed even after a soft reset. I deleted the themes, soft reset, and the theme colors and aspect are still showing in the TouchFlow.

Also, in the Weather application TF3D seems to overwrite the random access bar to the right hand edge of the screen for selection of weather countries and cities (which I found a really useful addition), moreover clicking on Menu | Settings give you a screen called "Data" and two unnamed options (first is ticked on, second is ticked off).

It's a pity because I just love this app!

I can only confirm this comment, having just the same experience...

When applying any new themes, whole TF3D becomes very slow, more less unusable. No tweaks help. The only way to increase the TF3D speed again is a hard reset. Removing the Diamond TF3D Config tool doesn't help much.

When using all the other functions of Diamond TF3D Config (but not themes!), system may be perhaps slower, however not considerably.

I'm afraid, this is a quite typical problem by many other great tools too... :(

I'm afraid this is just a compatibility problem of TF3D with the third party's software. I have the same troubles with Pocket Informant (PI) ... solving it already with the PI software engineers ... so let's wait and see.

Still, it may be a nice function for simple software anyway!

Firstly, fantastic work... thank you very much. I have noticed something interesting. There are two ways to go between the tabs in TF3D:

1- Slide between them (either by sliding a finger or just pressing on a tab icon)
2- Scroll between them; by pressing and holding the tab icons and the sliding the findger between the tabs and letting go when we have reaches the desired tab.

I find that the response is MUCH faster in number 2 than number 1. I wonder if the reason for this is that the phone does not try to play the animation of one tab disappearing and next tab sliding in. In number 2, the tab just appears.

Is there a way of stopping the animation and make the phone just appear the tab?

If this is possible, it would be a fantastic addition to your already brilliant app.

Can't seem to disable the Startup Animation. Although I disable it in this tool and set the sound to "127", the settings are somehow not saved, and the startup animation - with loud sound - keeps appearing.

Any ideas?

I'm right with ya. I installed Dutty's 1.93 yesterday and my Diamond FLIES. I installed this and it's much more sluggish. Better than what I had before the ROM update but much less now that it's installed.

I hope there is a tweak for this because I really like the app. Hopefully there will be a cure... I hate to have to uninstall it.

I was just wondering if i can somehow block ignore button when someone calls me. Because every single time when I try to remove my dimond from the case it always presses ignore button on the screen. That really sucks cause I have to call people back :(

read first post mate - if you modified with Schap's tool the finger pressure setting, you need to bring it back to the original value.

EDIT AGAIN: That's wierd, I did a restore and even after I deleted the program, it's still there!!! The backup was done BEFORE I installed the program.
i did a hard reset and got my phone back.

I am sure sushi will work out an improved version based on the 1.93 ROM. I'll reinstall then.

Hello there. I just wanted to let you know of a small issue I found when using the utility. After running the tool the title of my Favourites Tab has become IDS_FAVOURITES.

I am sorry if this has already been reported.

Perhaps the spelling is incorrect I notice that FAVOURITE is spelled FAVORITE in other heading labels so the fix might just be as simple as editing the value of the Title token in the XML.

If i change to an different Theme than the standard ROM Theme round about 10-20 MB memory will "lost". OK so far.
What happends if I restore default? Will this space restored?

maybe i found out how to change the wallpaper.
Just slide to "config" from the home slide bar.
tap on background and change the picture!
it's just that easy.

You don't have to open it, transfer it to Device and run it. You have CAB files associated with your extracting app, that's the culprit.

However, when I use TF3D config to remove the other tabs(weather/email/internet), the unwanted tabs do not go away. Only the Internet and occasionally the email tabs go away; the weather and email tabs still stay there. The only difference is that they are moved from their default positions(email after SMS/weather before Photos) to the extreme right.

I read somewhere that this might have been because I am using 1.93 WWE instead of 1.37(I flashed my phone to 1.93 manually), and that TF3D is not 100% compatible with 1.93. Any basis for truth in this?

Please help me. Can't stand the unwanted tabs.

Is it possible to change the default today screen on the 3d interface. Today you only have call history and calendar. If you do the flip up gesture on that screen, you get a smaller clock and place for 2-3 extra lines under calendar. Is it possible to add programs here?

I experienced the same problem with 1.37 rom. I went into windows directory and removed the file ending with manila_disabledtabs (with total commander), restart and the "unwanted tabs that would not go away" is gone and its back to normal.

I have deaktivated the Wetter and so on. But with the new version it don´t work. The Wetter and the Programm Tabe don´t "go away". From the Front of the Diamond. On all other Icons it works perfekt.

In the TF3D Config 0.6.7 alle the Tabes are twice into. This is also very cracy.

I have a little problem with my music library. I'm using the HTC black extended theme.
The problem is when I click on Library and then I can't find the "new" list that should appear. With that I mean: Now Playing, Albums, My list, All song etc.
Hope you know what I mean.
And one more thing. Why does my song names appear in dark grey?

I have the same problem! But I thought I had a home-Icon on the black theme until I removed the branding option. When I try to set the option for branding again the checkmark is always away after the reboot. :(

I'm using the Orange theme... It looks nice and homescreen is great with the moving clock (though it looks kinda like LG Prada).. Thing is, instead of music and internet it says Orange Music and Orange World on the tabs.. There's also a link to orange music in the tf3d music tab.. Is it possible to change the theme to one's liking? Maybe by changing a few of the 1000+ files that were copied :P..

Removing the links to provider specific things and editing text in tf3d would be bomb..

And people wonder why the guys on this forum get so aggravated with newbies.

First, use search and start from the beginning.

Second, if you don't know how to install a cab file, I'm not sure you should be tweaking your phone.

Third. Using activesync (or a similiar program) copy the file you want to install. Paste it into the directory you want the file to open from. (I usually paste my files into "programs" on the internal memory)

Using file explorer or whatever you want, find the file that you just pasted and doubleclick on it.

It will install the file. You can then delete the cab file if you wish.

Have you read the posts above?

Again just move the cab file that you downloaded to where ever you want on your phone, say the programs folder of the internal storage. Then just use explorer on the phone to find where you saved the cab file and then just click on it with your finger or whatever.

It will run straight away and ask where you want to install, device or interal storage. Choose whatever and in like 2 seconds it will be done. Delete cab file if you wish, then just goto programs to find and launch the program you just installed.

Be very careful with that key... I suspect that mucking with that one caused my unit to stop responding to the screen, causing me to have to hard reset to recover. The tweaks.xml file shows the location of the key, if you still have it on your machine. I don't have the file with me here at work.

But my AppToDate has been telling me there was an update to 0.6.7.1 for a while - but the update fails.
Strange enough prior to the update the current version is removen (or at least MS says so...) but its still there 0.6.7

Any info on this?

This is an excellent tools which makes Touch Diamond easy and better to use.

Could you pls add the following tweaks also:
1. A tab displaying all appointments and Tasks for the Day like SPB Diary today plug-in etc or a tab to incorporate custom Today plug-in.
2. A backup and restore option for weather settings and Program launcher tab?

These items have to be configured every time after HARD RESET or ROM Upgrade for impulsive ROM users like me who install and test every ROM

Hi, very nice aplication :)
I have a little problem on spanish lite oficial rom (see my signature below)
The configuration and programs menu not appears in spanish like all the others, seems a default text for buttons and names, like this:
IDS_sounds
IDS_communications
IDS_allseetings
IDS_allprograms
IDS_programs_title
IDS_ etcetera....................

Seems work very stable and fluid with the changes by TF3D config but maybe it havn't a spanish titles file for config and programs, or it's a bug problem?

Hay.. I'm also getting an error when i try to open the application.. But the error isint the same as all the others have stated.. I have tried all the solution given.. but still no use.. tried deletin the xml.. checked the registry also.. and it says DWORD only.. as the parameter.. Whats should i do !?!?.. Any suggestions !?!..

BTW.. I noticed one thing.. This problem started after I cooked the ROM which i was using.. I just replaced the NetCF 2 with verion 3.5.. And added Schaps Advance Config Tool v3.. Could there be any link between them and the error !?!?

I didn´t follow the whole thread, but i found another solution (very easy) for the error you mention at the beginning of the thread.

In the directory where the program is installed there is a file named

tweaks.xml

if you just rename that file to

tweak.xml

the program runs perfect. :)

Sadly I am getting an error too.

Using Dutty's 1.6 so TF3D comes as default.

Tried removing and reinstalling program, tried hard reset and re-flashing and tried deleting the xml file :(

The touchflow music player keeps losing my place in audiobooks when the screen goes blank.

I want to use Windows media player (with autoresume plugin) and control it from my BT headset. Unfortunately the touchflow music player keeps intercepting the AVRCP commands.

Is there a way to disable/delete/replace the touchflow music player?
Note: removing the tab is not sufficient because TF3D still consumes the AVRCP command.
if I disable TF3D altogether from the Today screen, the AVRCP can now talk directly to windows media player.

1) Date format doesn't work. I want full Greek display format (full day name, date, full month name, year). My ROM is English (tried both #1 and #2 options), 1.90.401.1 and I have succesfully enabled Greek TF3D.

1) Sorry, my app is only for the Touch Diamond / Xda diamond, because I haven't got a Touch Pro so I can't test and optimize my app for the Touch Pro :(

2) It is a mistake by HTC. The hardware-key "Home" opens the page which has the index "0" - normally it is the home-tab. So if you reorder your tabs, a different page has then the index "0". Normally "Home" should open "home.page", but it isn't so :(

As far a theme list is concerned, in this forum, pull out the Search this Forum option and enter: "[THE]". That should get you all themes neatly organized.

While starting the tool, an exception error occurs. I open my registry to fix the issue with the solution provided on the first post. The value is correctly set to REG_DWORD. I have the TELUS Diamond and the value in the REG_DWORD is 40.

I use the tools to change the date format but now the time format in regional setting is limited to H:mm:ss or HH:mm:ss, no hh:mm:ss and can't display 12-hr format, with am or pm.

For all who getting an exception while starting my tool:

Your Registry is wrong! Maybe this is caused by a bad ROM or a bad tweak tool!

Check this key:

HKLM\Drivers\TouchPanel

The value PressureThreshold should be a DWORD (REG_DWORD)

(Many people have this problem and got STRING (REG_SZ) for PressureThreshold, but this is wrong!)

You have two options:

1.: You delete the tweak.xml in program directory of my tool
OR
2.: You change PressureThreshold to DWORD in Registry

First of all, thx for your great tool since it's also the dream tool of every Diamond users wants to have.
But I have the exception when start your tool!!
According to your above solution, it means to change the key value to DWORD. But in my Resco Explorer registry editor I found the value was 45 (Dec value), so I don't know what the DWORD you meant, is it any value (Dec or Hex) what I should input? or just input DWORD as the value.
Please let me know what I should do!!!

I installed the TF3D config ver 0.6.7 successfully...
I also downloaded and unzip the Vodaphone Red theme files (_.png file extension) into my HTC internal storage\themes folder. I also tried the Diamond Jewellery theme files (_.manila file extension)
What does both themes have different files extension..???

But when i run TF3D config and select the PATH to my themes folder and click OK... nothing happen... I dun see any themes on the drop-down box..
I tried to rename my theme folder from theme to themes... but still no avail..

My Diamond phone was installed with Swiftblade ROM ver 6.0
Currently my device information as below:-
ROM Version: 1.93.405.1 WWE
ROM date: 08/21/2008
Radion Version: 1.00.25.05
Protocol: 52.29.25.12H
ExtROM version: SwiftBL, Diamond v6.0

I didn't know witch software made the changes for original path, so it was a big problem after I changed the language to romanian using TF3D Config 0.6.7
After I restore to English, everything was ok.

i remember in the beginning of tf3d config sushi mentioned that he´s working on enabling a homezone-sign to be visible in different/all themes (just as you can REMOVE the branding right now, but actually put it IN)

i'm on a german 02 contract with HZ right now, but afaik the only theme supporting it is the orig. O2 theme which makes me sick. i want a black theme with HZ support! possible? coming up?

so, just to clear the things - on the 1.93 rom - is it that the old themes are incompatible, or is it, that the diamond tf3d config tool can't handle the new themes? would it work if we had, say, an default black theme from a 1.93 rom? so, just to clear the things - on the 1.93 rom - is it that the old themes are incompatible, or is it, that the diamond tf3d config tool can't handle the new themes? would it work if we had, say, an default black theme from a 1.93 rom? (i'm using the ghastly german blue o2 theme) and if so, could somebody post it?

Yes, you need a theme based on a 1.93 rom, then it would work. But a 1.37 Theme on a 1.93 ROM will not work!

Because the files which were replaced are in the ROM and not in the available storage. The files in ROM can't be replaced so the new files are stored in your available storage, that's why it needs so many memory.

The very annoying: after you take a picture, could not be seen anymore on htc album !!!

This should be fixed on next version, because till I find a solution to fix the path for camera pictures and video, I just hard reset my device... :mad::mad::mad:
I didn't know witch software made the changes for original path, so it was a big problem after I changed the language to romanian using TF3D Config 0.6.7
After I restore to English, everything was ok.

I found the solution! To make it work for romanian language, I need the code that is coresponding to my country. For example, 0409 is for english...

as for the save folder, the solution that has worked for me on the 1.37 rom (however, since i installed 1.93 - it has stopped working :( ) was to rename the registry settings at HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Px\SaveFolder (x standing for the camera mode, the folders are 1,2,...,10, you need to edit each of these 10) to e.g. something like this: "\Interner Speicher\My Documents\My Pictures" (on my german rom, hence "interner speicher")

the other setting, changing the HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\ and there in folders Image and Video the SaveFolders_xxxx and GpsSaveFolder_xxxx to the correct locale code as well as correcting the path only (at least as far as I know) tells the album where to search for the pictures that will be shown in the "camera shots" or "kameraaufnahmen" album. hope that helps.

update:
i played with the thing and figured out the correct settings for the 1.93 german rom, with english-language tf3d:
you don't change anything in the above "P1"-"P10" folders
you only change the "SaveFolders_xxxx" (setting the xxxx to your tf3d locale code) and put there ONLY "My Pictures", WITHOUT the entire path of internal storage. the camera will in that case save to the
-"My Pictures" folder in internal storage\my documents
or
-"My Pictures" folder directly on your phone in the \my documents
depending on what you've set in the camera as the save destination

analogously with the video

then it should all work like a charm, with saving the pictures and videos and seeing them in the "camera shots" / "kameraaufnahmen" album.

I suppose you have not a lot of time to give explanation but what is done during the first step of installation named files suppression ? and finaly how does it works if the files are not replace how can the Rom used the new files and not the old ?

While starting the tool, an exception error occurs. I open my registry to fix the issue with the solution provided on the first post. The value is correctly set to REG_DWORD. I have the TELUS Diamond and the value in the REG_DWORD is 40.

Did you remove the Tweaks file, as mentioned? Earlier in the thread I posted an alternate tweaks.xml file that works with the Telus Diamond's, as well.

I just renamed only 3 registry key:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Image\GpsSaveFolder_0409 -> change 0409 with your country code
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Image\SaveFolder_0409 -> change 0409 with your country code
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Video\SaveFolder_0409 -> change 0409 with your country code

... ofcourse, first you need to use TF3D Config 0.6.7 to change the country language.

I can run the program after I rename the file tweaks.xml. But then there is nothing listed in the tab Tweaks. So I wonder if any better way to handle the exception problem.

anyway the language code was alrealdy set up for my Rom (1.93 Ita, code #410), maybe because i *first* set the code in the Tf3d "appearance->date format" menu, *then* modified the theme

BTW I took some times to argue that I *MUST* put the .theme file into a "\Themes" directory; any other folder won't work :)

Could you please explain where or how you can modify whether only the next upcoming appointment or more should be displayed ? I did find the setting for the default calendar home plugin where you can specify "Next Appointment" or "Upcoming appointments" (translated from german: "Naechsten Termin" / "Bevorstehende Termine"). However, for TouchFlo 3D I can't find this.

hi everybody,
i had to clean my main memory on my HTC Touch Diamond, and then i realized your TF3D config tool was installed on it. So i deleted it (as the program did not appear in the managed softwares, i had to delete it through file browser) and cleaned the registry with CleanTemp.
But when i tried to re-install the TF3D config tool, it detected the old version and failed the install in the end.
Any idea ? Thx a lot for your answers, if any.

Maybe Orange default skin counts as an installed skin then, because even if the DWORD is correctly set, I had to delete the xml file to have the app launched after I installed it on my newly flashed 1.93 Orange FR ROM.
So no tweaks for me, wich is unfortunate.

I tried looking for the solution is all posts but found nothing that works for me.

First off, i am really looking forward to getting this TouchFlo program to work! I really want something to change the Flo program or really it is useless with all the hard coded links in it.

I loaded the app and got the same exception that many others did. I checked the registry and it is correct; it calls out DWORD. I deleted the "tweaks" file and then the program started. But it is just a shell, meaning that there are no options and all fields are blank. So i downloaded the theme HTC Black and then it does seem to load and everything is still empty except for the “Tabs” tab. That tab has some options (Home, Internet, Weather…) but moving them and selecting them does nothing. When I hit the “Remove Lock” button I get an error “Lock is not removed” so that is probably related to the problem.

I have a brand new Sprint Touch black and i just upgraded the ROM version to 3.03.651.4 and it does not work. But i had the same results with the older 1.265 ROM that came on the phone from HTC.


Any ideas? Thanx in advance.
