Just for info:
The tool works on a T-Mobile MDA Vario IV (ROM: 1.69.111.6 GER) fine.
Just the TouchFlow 3D is very slow at the moment. I'll try some tweaks and then give you an info.

It's still slow, but I have an other probleme, which I have overseen in the first excitement.
The title-bar and the status-bar continue in the original turquoise.
If I'll find a screenshot-tool, I'll show you the screen.
edit:Oh, after editing the today preferences, all works fine!

If you are having installation problems, be surethat you removed the xml file from the tf3d config programs directory
Im having an issue where it wont remove any of my tabs. Ive been customizing my phone today and prior to me restarting all tf3d files from the rom (via manilla customizer), i had sprint tv and a couple other tabs off, but now, they wont go away no matter how many times i configure them in tf3d (including about 10 restarts so far).
I really hate the photos, music, and sprint tv tabs, can someone help me get rid of them for good?

Make that 3!
me 4! there is a solution posted that involves making sure that the registry key for TouchFloSensor is a DWORD and not a String, but mine is correctly a DWORD already. So the only workaround at the moment is to delete the tweaks.xml file in the TF3D Config folder. But this eliminates being able to make any tweaks, which is not exactly an ideal solution. But this will at least allow you to switch themes by starting the app.
I think we need a real fix to this.

Really hoping i can get some help as some tabs are refusing to go away now. Top this off with the fact that i have duplicate tabs in the remove tabs options, it just my luck, the ones that are duplicates are refusing to hide! What do i do?

I experienced the same problem with 1.37 rom. I went into windows directory and removed the file ending with manila_disabledtabs (with total commander), restart and the "unwanted tabs that would not go away" is gone and its back to normal.
This should be added to the first post.... My problem is resolved

For those of you running the Sprint Touch Pro and want to remove tabs from the TouchFlo3D interface, you can use the Advanced Config tool.
Get it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=420855&highlight=tf3d

I hope this isn't a dumb question but....I keep getting errors about my diamond running out of storage space...
I've chosen the "Internal Storage" directory when I was installing this, but whenever I try to load a theme, it never finishes installing because I'm "out of storage space."
Does the theme need to be installed on the "device memory?"

Use WeatherDB edite by mains found somewhere ells in here. Worked with my Norwegin ROM.
i have an htc touch pro from sprint, and i have a problem after installing tf3d config 0.67.
the problem is that the language changed when i add a city in the weather tab and i cannot find USA.
i know that weather database editor is a work around but is there any other way to fix this f*up that the tf3d config program did without a hardreset?
thank you in advance to anyone that is willing to chime in.

Hmmm....I think that this is just not me that is having this problem. I cannot load 0.6.7, I just get an error message. I have a CDMA version with 1.13.666.7 ROM. 5.1 works great but it does not have the Theme adjustments that I want. I tried to load the Tweaks.xml file that is supposed to make this work with my CDMA version, but it does not :(. Is there any way of making this version compatible with my Diamond?

hi guys.
sorry about this, but can anyone please link me to step by step on how to install this tf3d on the mobile phone? ;)
thanks.
You need to have an HTC Diamond, or HTC Touch Pro. It comes preinstalled on it, as the interface.
Now, I'm thinking of making a theme for that TF3D. I wish I could use the .theme feature of your software, for of course, easy distribution.
I made a quick search on this topic, but can't get to sit down, and browse 103 (ONE HUNDRED AND THREE!!!!, talk about a 'RTFT' LOL) pages to look at how I can do this. It will be very kind if one of you could point me at the right direction.
Schlang! My bad, guys. searched the ->whole Forum<-, and found the solution. For others that want to know, basically you take all the _Manilla files you edited, put them in a nice standard zip, then rename that .zip to .theme .

I try to remove some tab from TF3D and i didn't reset immediatly but after some minute, but when reset my diamon i found again it. In TF3d menu now i can see, for example, music tab selection and another voice music tab not selection, but in my touch flow menu the music tab is show. The same thing with internet tab, photo tab and weather tab.
Please can you help me to remove the double tab voice in TF3D and remove the tab in touch flow 3d menu THANKS??

Hi,
I have tried to use the program to switch to Russian language. Unfortunatly, it only displays default strings like IDS_PHONE, IDS_CALLHISTORY, etc... I am assuming that the default resource file that comes with Sprint doesn't have translations for Russian in their string tables. Does anyone have a resource file that has a translation in it or can someone at least tell me where such resource file will be located - perhaps I can trnslate the strings myself and post the file here.
I know that the program is not doing anything fancy - just changing the regestry key for Current Lang - which means that the program is not responsible for translating the values - but the actual TF3D is!
Any assistance is appreciated.

I did not have any problems installing the program on my Touch Pro, but whenever I try and run it, it says "An unexpected erro has occurred in Diamond TF3D Config.exe. Select quit and the restart this program, or select Details for more information".
It does this every time I run the program. Details does not give me any options that I can tell what the problem is..
It works perfect on my Diamond. Can anyone help me get this working on my Pro??

Seems to be a great application!
Is it also possible to configure in the program launcher to only see the icon of a program and the name under it.
So that you could see abaout 15 icons on one screen instead of only about5?
I really like the TF3D interface but when you have a lot of tools you have to scroll alot to reach the end of the list of applications.
I hope you can help me with this.
Would be great!!!

I still see "Please do not install a Theme on a 1.93 ROM!" on your first post.
But i see some post of some 1.93 rom users saying they had done it without problem.
Is this still a valid warning?
I had the 1.93 rom and want to try other themes.
I will try changing the theme but first will do a backup just in case.
Is there a particular problem that you had detected with the rom 1.93?

It doesn't work on my 1.93 ROM, I get the error on start up that others have posted in this forum about. It doesn't mess anything up, the program is just useless because you can't do anything.
Can't wait for the next version, which hopefully has full support for 1.93.

I 2nd that, this is the main reason I need the program. Any fix comming for this?
I'm not sure what Tweaks.xml is, however if you remove it the program at least runs. I was looking for something to remove the damned HTC/Sprint Music tab thingy. I was able to do that and remove the stupid Sprint TV thing too.
You may not know but for people who use Bluetooth headsets and wish to use AVRCP controls, it appeared that the HTC Audio Manager (AKA Sprint Music player) stole the AVRCP controls! So if you didn't like that app (and really, what's to like? - It's horrible! And horribly broken!) and wished to use something better like Pocket Player then Pocket Player also wouldn't be able to use AVRCP either! In fact try running the HTC Audio Manager and WMP together. They both attempt to get AVRCP and weird things happen like two audio programs playing together!
Then I got S2P, which is a nice little app but it still seems to have problems with AVRCP, now competing amongst HTC Audio Manager, WMP and S2P (Actually I believe that both HTCAM and S2P try to use AVRCP through WMP) but nonetheless it just didn't work right where you'd hit pause and AVRCP would pause S2P but start HTCAM!
However with this I can remove the Music tab and thus HTCAM is no longer involved and things seem to work better....

Yes hcky it does... I use it and it works good!
I have loaded some themes, but they change the landscape theme which is not good, so be careful with that... but for tweaks and everything else it works fine. I'm sure some people will "port" it to the Fuze/TouchPro soon, so if you'd rather be patient, then wait for that otherwise play away!

Does it still not work on 1.93 Roms?
I want to try this because the default skin is getting boring... xD
I'm using a 1.93.162 rom...
By the way... does it work with the official standard ROM or do i have to flash my device with a custom one first?

I'm getting the exception error when starting the program on my Sprint Touch Pro. I checked the registry setting as suggestion and it is properly a DWORD.
Removing the Tweaks file works, but then I don't get that tab. Any ideas?

Okay, i tested it with both, 1.93.xxx.xx the original german Vodafone Rom and it works perfectly!
The only issue that i am not very happy with is that the device is now running at 51% CPU-load (+ 3-5%)... and compared to the original Skin it is increasing much faster even when i delete some of the Manila tabs (Contacts, Weather, Internet)... is this because the TF3D Config is running in the Background? is there a chance to lower the load again?
And there is another Question.... i saw that i can change my HSUPA Settings via the TF3D Config... is it possible to disable the 3G and the other (german) bands using TF3D Config?

Can someone point me to where I can find information on what is actually changing when enabling/disabling tweaks. I can read the description, but would like to know exactly what I'm changing and why. For example TouchFloPerfromance #1-4 changes what and for what benefit other than the obvious performance? What does each make perform better? Menus, animations, etc.

It's under Start, programs. If not, I'd say reinstall because that is where the shortcut should be by default. Oh and I'm assuming you know you have to scroll down.

Yeah, I did load it onto my AT&T Fuze and I LOVE the app, unfortunately, it really drags down the performance to a crawl?:(
I HATE the AT&T default but when running NATF's rom it is lightning fast...as soon as I load up the black theme it took 8-9 seconds for the Contacts tab to respond. I tried the teaks with no avail. Again, I LOVE the black theme...can anyone offer suggestions so that it doesn't bog down the AT&T Fuze??

Trust me...replace the bloated AT&T rom with the one above and it whips right through things a LOT faster. Unfortunately I spent all night uninstalling the Black HTC theme and reverting back to the ugly AT&T version...the themes, no matter which one I used, always dragged down performance...waiting to see if the next go around of themes will do better on my AT&T Fuze

agreed! If it was possible to use themes with better performance on the Fuze, that would be awesome. Right now it takes several seconds to switch between the tabs, which makes the themes pretty much unusable - even if they are prettier. I also tried the performance tweaks, but I can't say it helped.
Does anyone have a link to a theme editor? Or instructions on how to create a theme pack? I'd like to create a few... (assuming performance gets better)

1 you need to creat a folder called Themes in internal storage
2 unzip your downloaded themes ie (R&B Djoub/Zitoun Dirty Paper/The Blacy Djoub) and put them in the Themes folder
3 go to Appearance in TF3D CONFIG and open a path to internal storage then go to Themes witch you've just created and press OK
4 tap the drop down screen just under Path... and you'll see your themes
5 then just pick your theme and let it run(takes a bit of time ie rewrites registry)

For all who getting an exception while starting my tool:
Your Registry is wrong! Maybe this is caused by a bad ROM or a bad tweak tool!
Check this key:
HKLM\Drivers\TouchPanel
The value PressureThreshold should be a DWORD (REG_DWORD)
(Many people have this problem and got STRING (REG_SZ) for PressureThreshold, but this is wrong!)
You have two options:
1.: You delete the tweak.xml in program directory of my tool
OR
2.: You change PressureThreshold to DWORD in Registry
For Sprint Touch Pro:
Install Cab
Open Regestry and go to:
HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/OEM/TFLOSettings/
Delete: tweak.xml
It will work

In relation to Manilia (TF3D) themes, am I right in thinking that the supplied Manilia files from a theme author are specific to a certain version of Manilia? ie. these file have an effect on / change not just eye candy but also some of the functional aspects as well (including but not limited to various menu options from softkeys, animation settings etc etc)?
I ask as I'm very keen to try out a theme or two (specifically on of the Dirty Paper ones!) however as I'm experimenting with 1.97.x.4-based ROMs (Dutty v3.3 & Vodafone) I do not want to miss out on some of the added functionality in these more recent versions of Manilia (I believe) by applying the theme and effectively taking a 'step backward'.
Or have I completely missed the point - does this program take care of such like?
Cheers / thanks in advance.

Following up on my own post, and having "given it a go", it does indeed seem as though the 'themes' available are Manilia version-specific. To clarify, while it still seems to work fine, there are missing menu (soft key) options and behavior is slightly different.
Guessing we therefore need either specific versions of the popular themes for popular Manilia versions (as per in the main ROM release distributions), or ideally a program that dynamically 'pretties up' any given Manilia files and therefore decouples the functional side of things from the eye candy (wishful thinking?!). :)

I flash a number of Diamonds quite regularly. TF3D Config always goes on there, using the cab available in the first post of this thread. I assume this is the latest/greatest.
However, I also normally install AppToDate as well (update client which is TF3D aware), and this always tells me my TF3D is out-of-date and wants to update it..?!

OK I have this installed on my htc Fuze and I can report that EVERYTHING works exactly like it did before installing everything. I added the black theme and it also works perfectly. My weather, image transition, etc etc etc - all works exactly the same as it did before installing this. Very very cool.
Questions
1) I had the recent call tab before installing this and now it is gone. how do i get it back? and where did it go?
2) Is there a location where you can find many TF3D themes all in one place?
3) now that I have this installed do i ever need to use the existing today icon to make changes, or just use this one when using the TF3D themes.
4) Finally (for now, lol), if I decide to purchase mobile shell or one of those similar programs will I use the diamond tf2d tool anymore?
Thank you for the answers

You have to install and use the program Diamond TF3D Config (download it from the first page of this threat).
Is very easy and intuitive to use it (unfortunately it don't works in my htc at this moment but I hope to solve this problem quickly).

extract the theme before you put it under the "theme" folder.. you must place the actual htc black file in the folder... it should show up then..you can place the wallpaper where ever.. i have mine in a separate folder under the same "theme" folder

1. Is this an alternative to manilla config or can it be run with it?
2. Even though I keep changing my themes, the very top and bottom bar still stay the original ugly green...even though when i go to the windows settings -> Themes it has my TF3D theme active... Why isnt the theme getting rid of my green bars too?
Thanks

Any suggestions?

The EXACT same thing happened to me on my fuze. I really believe that TF3D is not developed enough yet and the themes all lag. And from reading here and other places AND watching videos people post, it seems to be expected. I turned TF3D off and would highly suggested checking out spb mobile shell or winterface. I am using mobile shell and there is no lag, the annimation and touch screen action is awesome, and I have added about 100 other things with no issues. Just my 2 cents.

installed it on Fuze, made black theme, god, this theme is beauuuuutiful...
but! it's slow.
it's not very slow, just a little slower than the ATT Fuze default grey sadness, but the Weather tab is the real bitch - superslow loading the initial city, then clicking on 5-day takes about 10 seconds lag, and the text is black there, so I can't clearly see days or temperatures...
i am hoping this will improve, because this app is otherwise LOVELY, and i kindly thank the developer for his effort and care!

I can't get this .cab file for tf3d config to install on my Fuze (as well as the FM radio tweek and SPB Alt-Tab). It just gives me the error "Installation of Diamond TF3D Config Setup v0.6.7.CAB was unsuccessful." However Live Search installed just fine.

Put the cab file on your storage card, or in the phone's internal storage, like my documents, then run it FROM YOUR PHONE. You saying you paste it over and it runs makes me think you are A. Using Active Sync to launch the installer, or B. Trying to open a cab file with Opera. Save it first, then launch it manually.

Does anyone else have the issue that when a new theme is installed, you lose the quickscroll on the City select for the weather tab?
And since I seem to lose all my cities (they get replaced by a bunch of other cities around the world) I have to scroll all the way down to the USA for a few cities. And if I accidently select a country on the way there, when I go back, it starts me at the beginning of the list.
Is there a way to just select all the cities and have a cab to put them back?
Am I missing something?
Thanks.
----------
It appears that the issue was with the theme. When I changed themes I was able to select cities with the quick-scroll again.

I apologize if this has already been asked, but I would like to know if it is still possible to install themes if you are forced to remove the Tweak.xml file in order to get TF3D Config. to work?
If not, then would it be possible to use either DiamondTweak or Advanced Configuration to adjust the pressure values to allow TF3D Config. to work without removing the Tweak.xml file? If so, does anybody have the settings (DiamondTweak) or values (Advanced Configuration)?
If even that is not possible, would anybody be willing to direct me to a registry editor (and possibly show me the ropes on how to properly use it via PMs)?
Thanks in advance.

Mine (Sprint HTC Touch Diamond) is a DWORD. Still crashes!

Another problem, and one I'd really like to get fixed. When I use TF3D Config to hide tabs they keep coming back! I desperately which to rid myself of the silly (IMHO) Sprint TV and HTC Audio Manager Music Player tabs. However after starting up TF3D Config and ticking off these two tabs I am instructed to reboot the phone. So I do. But the tabs are still there!
I've tried this several times. One time I managed to get rid of the Sprint TV tab and the HTC Audio Manager tab. I was using another music player (S2P actually). Occasionally when coming out of power save mode I'd be put back to the HTC Audio Manger tab! It would say "No Music Found" but still it was there. It did not have a corresponding tab indicator on the bottom (where you slide between the various tabs) but it would come back like a ghost from lock mode on occasion.
Going back into TF3D Config I have the following listed in the tab configuration
[x] Home
[x] Contacts
[x] SMS
[x] E-Mail
[x] Photos/Videos
[x] Internet
[x] Weather
[x] Unknown
[x] Settings
[x] Programs
[x] Music
[ ] Music (!)
[ ] Unknown (?)
[ ] Unknown (?)
[ ] Photos/Videos
[ ] Settings
So I have 3 Unkowns, 2 Musics, 2 Photos/Videos and 2 Settings, some checked and some not checked. Again, if I uncheck the first Unknown (Which seems to be the Sprint TV tab) and the Music and reboot it comes back again! :-(
How do I fix this?
Note: Unchecking everything is interesting. You still get Photo/Videos, Sprint TV, Settings and Music on reboot.
While I'm asking, underneath Appearance I see no Themes in the drop down. Where do I get these?

If you are having problems getting it to run and your reg is correct DELETE the tweaks.xml file in the programs folder. you find this in file explorer or what ever program you prefer, Look where you installed it to. Internal or storage card, for example storagecard/programs/diamondtf3d/ HERE is where you will find the tweaks file to delete. then retry running tf3d.

Hi, after installing some programs a few new small boxes are shown in the tab "Programs" of Manila. The TF3D Config Tool, which is great by the way, shows these boxes as empty in the configuration settings "Programs" but I cannot remove them there. I would like to get completely rid off theses empty boxes in the tab "Programs". Does anybody know how to remove the empty program boxes (showing a plus) from the tab "Programs"? I could not find any option, neither in the TF3D Config Tool, nor in the tab "Programs". The TF3D does not remove these empty program boxes even if I select the option "Remove".
Many thanks for a reply in advance.

This is OT but if you use the File Manager to browse to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs you'll see all of the app shortcuts that are used to compose the "All Programs" view. Look for duplicates.
How do you get duplicates? Well you can have folders under \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and you can have an application shortcut in two different folders, or in the main folder and a subfolder at the same time. Windows Mobile just gathers them all up and doesn't try to eliminate any dups.
Finally, you can now "arrange" a hierarchy of program groups by making folders in \Windows\Start Menu\Programs. For example, you can have a "System" subfolder and place TF3D Config in there, etc. Just don't be making more duplicates! :)

Sorry Jeff but I'm gonna make an example of you. I don't do it to pick specifically on you but rather to help inform others. Computers can appear to be fickle things unless you've spent a lot of time with them and/or you program them. I program them. Have for some 30 years now. They need to you to be precise and thorough. Otherwise they don't work. They don't think for you. You have to tell them exactly what you want and they do exactly that.
Over the years I find that people who do not pay attention, do not read thoroughly and thoughtfully have just a terrible time with computers.
In your description of the problem you left out the most important part of the description, the error message! You've since corrected that. But did you miss the following additional part in my response? I'll quote it:
Well if you are trying to use TF3D on a Sprint (perhaps a few others) then try installing the app but removing or otherwise renaming the Tweaks.xml file contained in the folder where you installed TF3D.
It didn't write it for nothing. Did you try the above at all? I mean even if you don't have the Sprint version of the phone it's worth a try. I crafted that sentence specifically to point out this solution. I thought about the sentence and made sure I added "(perhaps a few others)" to indicate that even if you didn't have a Sprint it'd be worth a try. I also told you specifically to remove or rename the Tweaks.xml file and where you could find it (in the folder where you installed TF3D - thereby covering both instances where you may have installed it on the device or on "Internal Storage"). Again, did you try that? Because you didn't mention it at all. If you had questions like "what would be the folder it would have been installed into" or anything like that you didn't mention that either.
As you can see, had you done any research in this thread at all, the above solution has been mentioned several times before. That's how I learned of it! And indeed even NewSensei seems to have somehow overlooked that himself but later found it and even amended his post.
Social commentary: I'm getting more and more convinced that ADHD and ADD, etc. are more recently and more commonly diagnosed afflictions that the information age is bringing upon humankind! I mean I feel the affliction lately myself! What with all the blogs, podcasts and RSS feeds I try to keep up with! Now a days a headline will catch my eyes and I'll say "Gee that sounds interesting" but I cannot get through the article/post before becoming bored with it and moving on.
Focus people! Focus! For some things like computers it's just a requirement. I know I have to too remind myself often too.
Sorry for the rant but I feel better now...
Now can anybody take a stab at my problem that I posted a few pages ago regarding the Music and Sprint TV tabs not getting removed?

1 requires thick skin to post a question here huh?? I find this rant funny because the people who are the main culprits may have ADHD or ADD will probably never finish reading the rant to know it's about them lol.. Ironic isn't it...

Yes it is ironic. I did not intend to make it such that one requires a thick skin to post however. I was just pointing out that this question has been answered repeatedly here and some people don't take the time to really look. I know people are busy and I'm not saying you're a bad person or an idiot for not reading thoroughly (though I reserve the right to think it). I'm just saying try to read more thoroughly, often the answer is right there to start with! If you believe that you need a thick skin for that then IMNSHO you have very thin skin to start off with!
Oh and Jeff might read it as it's about him.

You know I could have followed the advice to delete the tweaks.xml file, but since I did read some posts, but not all 121 pages of them, and I don't have ADD, and I like to have all the good stuff someone else found.....I fixed the tweaks file to work on Sprint.
Seems the WakeUpOnNewSMS and EnableHSUPA were modifying registry keys that don't exist, so this must have caused the error. I opened up the XML, deleted these reg keys, left the rest in, renamed the old tweaks.xml, copied my new one over. Bingo! It works with the modified tweaks.xml.
Goes to show you people that don't read all the posts are not bad people and might even have something others might want.

In fact in the very post that you quote me I specifically say "I'm not saying you're a bad person or an idiot for not reading thoroughly"!!! How could I be clearer?!?
Then again, I guess if you're one of those people who don't read carefully then I guess you just didn't see that. In fact you're probably not reading this either so just piss off you little vermin you! <- Sorry. Just testing to see if you're really reading! :p

ya know what your statement is incorrect. I am running a bell touch pro. and your program gets a unexpected error in Diamond TF3D
Config.exe. My registery is not wrong. nor is it a bad ROM. And next time give the full address to that key for the newbies. Yours was vague and presumtous. You assumed also that the registry would be wrong. But that is a incorrect assumption also. so yeah i have no idea what is with your program

Ya i agree. go through all the pages just to find the info in a sea of stuipid questions. If people learned how to post. clearly and throughly. sifting through a 121 pages for every little thing you want to learn. is inefficient and a tragic waste of time. see the problem with you is that you are a jerk.
Really? Sorry you feel that way. OTHO, you are a stellar example of a polite person I see!
You are so familiar with computers that you forget what it is like for someone who doesn't do it for a living...
My "rant" was not about computers. It was about reading and following simple instructions and about common sense.
Sometime what is obvious, is omitted in thinking it is obvious.
Huh? So you get an error but the contents of the actual error message is a secret because you think that that content is "obvious"?!? You must be one of those people who have a difficult time with computers. Good luck with your future computer problems...
Come do my job.... you wouldn't be able to do it. Even if I gave you precise instructions. Even if i thought i gave you every step, you would still mess it up... I should know i trained enough people.
Is that paper? Or plastic?
that being said i don't think you are a bad person.
Then why did you just get finished with calling me a jerk... jerk!
U are obviously intelligent, just fed up with stuipidity.
Why thanks for noticing. Yes, fed up with that thar stuipidity [sic]!
I totally nderstand how you feel.
Yes, the key here is nderstanding fer sure!
Now get off your high horse, pat yourself on your back. Cause you do good work,
You bet I do - and I get paid handsomely to do it...
and realize not everyone is as capable of you in your field of choice.
I agree and that's exactly what I said. Not everybody can read carefully and follow simple directions. I know. Take for example, well, hmmm... You!
Instead of ranting and then say you are joking... no one sees through that at all.. nope not at all...yeah....hhh..... relax
We it's obvious that you misunderstood me, however that's not my problem to deal with - it's yours!
For the record when I'm directly attacked I strike back. I'm funny like that!

With such riveting dialogue as this, why do some people get angry when other people don't read all the posts?
I wonder why? .... no really.... I wonder why?
This is why chat rooms were created...and why this post is 121, opps... now 122 pages long.
What makes these forums valuable is the tech talk, not the emotional drivel.
Back to the topic.....
It seems that WakeUpOnNewSMS will work, but it seems that the EnableHSUPA was the problem.
I have updated my file and included some more tweaks out on net about turning on the LED to blink on incoming events like texts, voicemail, missed calls, etc. I also rewrote some of the descriptions to explain what each are doing.
I have only tested why the orginal tweaks.xml didn't work. All of the actual tweaks are the hard work of others. I am only combining it here. So they deserve most of the credit.
Same as before... rename sprint-tweaks.xml to tweaks.xml and replace the one in /Program Files/Diamond TF3D Config
Enjoy

I can't answer that question because I was never angry (well until attacked that is).
This is why chat rooms were created...
I thought chat rooms were created to type A/S/L, misspell and abbreviate words beyond recognition and for teenaged boys to talk to other teenage boys who are impersonating teenaged girls. Maybe I'm wrong as I don't do chat...

Yup.
A quick question, does it support Touch HD on ROM 1.18.723.2 WWE?
No clue. The main problem on the Sprint phones, esp the Touch Pro, was that the program would not run. Every time it was started, an error message would pop up. This is because of the registry conflict in the tweaks.xml file, which is why post #1 says to delete that file as a workaround. I removed the problem keys, so the tweaks.xml file can be used. I know nothing about the Touch HD, so the best way to find out is to install it and try to run it (or try google).

Just a few more questions though :
1) Would there be any issues if I were to use TF3D Config.'s performance tweaks AND the performance tweaks on DiamondTweak?
2) Is it advised to just stick with one or the other? If so, what are the pros and cons of both systems (for those who have used DiamondTweak as well)?
3) Compared to DiamondTweak, which program best improves TouchFlo 3D's performance (as well as the overall performance of the phone)?
Thanks for your help.

the overall program works great on my touch pro. i just have one minor glitch. in programs tab (touchflo), i have 25 spots, instead of 18. its good, but the extra 7 is not functional. it will not add any programs, just sits there with a plus. the program does show in diamond config programs tab, but i still cant access that way. is anyone else having this problem??? any suggestions would appreciated!
BTW: i did have problems at first like others, but after i installed the 3.5 .net framework and soft reset, it worked. i didnt have to delete the tweaks file.
also, when tryin to change your themes, unzip the themes to one folder. choose path, and find that folder (double click) and once found, highlight and press ok. you will see themes then.

Don't know. I use Diamond TF3D Config & Advance Configuration Tool. Haven't used DiamondTweak.
On the DiamondTweak thread, it seems that it is not completely CDMA Touch Pro compatible yet, but a couple of people are mod'ing it. Read the tread because it seems that there are a couple of settings that are GSM only and can screw things up if they are not left alone.

Strange, I heard similar things about Advanced Configuration (that it was not fully CDMA compatible yet).
In any case, I'll give it a shot since there doesn't seem to be any witness to major damages if/when DiamondTweak and Diamond TF3D Config. are both running.

Thank you for the great tool!
I just installed this on my Alltel Touch Pro. Ran into a few issues so thought I'd post here so others don't have to go through the same :)
I did get the exception when trying to run so the program wouldn't start. Found in the first message the link with the fix. I'm not sure if it was abbreviated or ? but my phone had no entry for HKLM. However, if I assume that was an abbreviation, and look instead under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, I was able to find, under that folder, \Drivers\TouchPanel and then under that PressureThreshold. After clicking PressureThreshold I was able to change two values... the Value name of "PressureThreshold" and the Value data which on mine was 19866 in "Decimal". I knew I didn't want to change the Value name and the 19866 number didn't appear to be anything that I'd want to change to DWORD as indicated in the instructions. But, I did notice the value type as being "REG_DWORD". This at least appeared to match what it was supposed to even though it wasn't something that I could change  So, I just left this alone :)
I then went to try option 1 by deleting tweak.xml in the program directory where I installed this tool. I could have sworn I choose to install this on the storage card but I checked there and in Program Files on the storage card and nothing looked like it matched this program. Then went to check the device and in the Program Files folder there I found a folder "Diamond TF3D Config". BINGO! However, there was no file named tweak.xml. I did see a file named "tweaks" though... with an "s" on the end but no xml extension... Hmmm??? Having a little experience and noticing no other extensions, I figured the extension was hidden. Even though this wasn't the correct file (tweaks vs tweak) I decided to give it a shot and renamed the file to bak-tweak. Started up the program and it worked. EXCELLENT!
I mention the above because a few pages back a new guy got kinda reamed for not being very specific. But, because new guys like myself don't really know what we are doing, on the flip side, we often DO try to be very specific and when hit with things like HKLM and tweak vs tweaks (items which are obvious for the experienced guys) we may kinda "lock up" because we don't want to screw something up :)
Anyway, just wanted to provide some of this info for other new guys out there so they can feel more comfortable using these very cool tools!
Oh, I also tried the modified Sprint-tweaks.xml by Fred and it seems to work just fine on the Alltel as well as it also gave me back the tweaks tab. Thanks!!!
Thanks much guys!

I can't say anything about the nld ROM but I've been using it on a 1.93 stock ROM (Roger's) for a couple of weeks. Successfully changed the theme a few times already. I've had no problems that I wouldn't assume were WM's fault.

Hello,
AppToDate says, there is a 0.6.7.1 version of Diamond TF3d Config. I let it download that, but Diamond TF3D Config still shows itself as v0.6.7 and AppToDate still says that there is a new version.
