cant switch off the edge icon in commmanager. it goes always on....
if i try 2 or 3 times it s off...mmmm

the next problem is that if i like to switch on wlan an dhe ask me the key, edge goes on too...

what happen to my best smartphone vox????

Is there some software running that requires internet access? If so it might be configured wrong, so that it wants to use EDGE-internet connection instead of Wifi-connection! Look in the task manager if there is an unusual program or process running!

This happends to me when the Windows Live Messenger is running and it is connected.
When I turn it off, I can switch off the edge (gprs) connection normaly.

This will happen when any application is running that requires an EDGE/GPRS connection.

This will also happen if you leave EDGE and bounce down to GPRS and the other way around.
