How to insert a file into a rom without dump

I'm trying to insert a file into a rom without dump it. It's possible?

When i dump a rom, insert/replace a file and rebuild i've a problem with xip end address... please help me!

not really. I suppose you can, but it's supposed to get overwritten on the next soft reset
