Just asking really - has anyone tried this out see link below? Looks quiet nice / different.
And it seems that there is a couple of them flying around over there.

Well, the link in first post worked for me now :confused:
It turns out that this is Version 2 of the ROM mentioned below but it is
still BETA and only PolarisClub members at PDAMobiz can get the password :(


But I've tried the BETA ROM Diamond Inspired Ver.1-The Full Throttle a while ago.
It looked nice and different but was packed with apps and the
ThrottleLauncher was rather sluggish, one day and I went back
to udK Vega.

As for the thing with SD, yes you need to copy an Extended_ROM folder to
the SD prior to flashing in order to automatically install the ThrottleLauncher,
Cube Skins (beta!!) and the TouchFlo 3D theme.

Correct links with password are in post no. 4

Here is one the of the txt files with ROM:
How to use Storage Card Extend_ROM

1. Place your cab you want to automatic install in Extended_ROM Folder in Root of your Storage Card.

2. Important. !!! Right click at that cab file and set as Read Only. !!!
If not,that cab will be deleted after installing.

3. Open PreConfig.txt and add command as

CAB: \Storage Card\Extended_ROM\my_program.CAB


Example :

SHOW:\Storage Card\Extended_ROM\welcome.bmp
LOCK:Enabled
CAB: \Storage Card\Extended_ROM\my_program1.CAB
CAB: \Storage Card\Extended_ROM\my_program2.CAB
CAB: \Storage Card\Extended_ROM\my_program3.CAB
CAB: \Storage Card\Extended_ROM\my_program4.CAB
CAB: \Storage Card\Extended_ROM\my_program5.CAB
;CAB: \Storage Card\Extended_ROM\my_program6.CAB
;CAB: \Storage Card\Extended_ROM\my_program7.CAB
;CAB: \Storage Card\Extended_ROM\my_program8.CAB
LOCK:Disabled
RST: Reset

Only cab that don't have ; will be installed.

5. Place Extended_ROM folder in root of Storage Card.

6. Extended ROM will work only once after you Flash with this ROM or after Hard reset.
Soft reset will have no effect with Extended ROM.

7.cab in Extended_ROM should not have pop up or SoftReset After installing.



One more thing, this is a ROM and not merely a theme.
In post 4 the first link is the final version and the second is the BETA!

What about the newer version of the throttle launcher?? Do we have to cop that to sd card too?? Then edit some xml file??

The latest release of ThrottleLauncher is included in the mentioned folder, Extended_ROM, and when copied to SD card it will install the ThrottleLauncher among other things to your device after the first reset following flashing the ROM.

The editing stuff is only if you want to add more CABs of your own so they can be installed also automatically :)

So if you want a simple flash, you don't need to edit anything at this point.

1.Major change is the Baserom: Change from 19213 to 19949 which result in improve speed.

2.Throttle Launcher change from 0.91 to 0.92: A lot improvement please refer to the author thread

3. Some updated programs



After flashing the rom, there will be a customizing process which will install the Ftouchflo and the Throttle launcher. Btw i have deativate the htc original 3-sided cube to give way to the 4-sided cube. If anyone doesn't like it just deactivate the ftouchflo in the ftouchflo config.And go to activate the original 3sided cube in the setting/system/rom settings/touchflo then enable Cube.

Don't forget to install the Touchflo3D theme which is also include in the folder extended_rom. "TL_TouchFlo3D.cab"

When you have installed the rom and extended rom and you want to install Apps at a later date etc whats the procedure with throttle? does it pick them up automatic or do you have to go into throttle to do a fresh search of new Programs

You've to go to StartMenu > Programs > ThrottleConfig > Apps Categories Tab . There tap&hold on the category all and click import from start menu. Then check the all category. Your programs row should update automatically ;).
