the fianle release of Throttle Diamond I multi language is here finaly

This is CE OS 5.2.19213 (Build 19213)

remember that you need to USPL before flashing these roms.

When divice is costumizing it will look like it's stuck instaling diamond.tsk just wait it can take around 1 minute

What to do first: (Setting up ThrottleLauncher)
1. After final flash synch all you contact etc. with outlook or restore
2. set up you email acount (but only if you use email)
3. install any soft you haven't installed with UC
4. start Throttleconfig and chooses TFlo3D if not chosen then press config
5. now go to weather tab and type in you town and country
6. now go to the email tab change Acticesync to the name of your acount ( it is case sensetive so if acount is Gullum it want display any info if you type gullum)
7. optional in General tab choose and arange what pages to show.
8. press save then exit on the default throttle config page choses reload plugin

this can also be done later but this will get you familuare with the config app

the music page can controll WMplayer,S2P and Morthplayer

hey gullum I tried to flash my elf with WWE rom. but it gives me this error on 3%:

ERROR[270]: UPDATE ERROR.

I have verified the size of the downloaded file it was the same as the server says i.e. 52.99 mb.

Any help is appreciated.

memory information just after the flash for my HTC ELF
memory:
45.69 MB
used: 8.52MB
free: 37.17MB

programs memory:
47.73 MB
used: 28.85 MB

not so much free memory :(

2 bugs founded (not really bugs)

it runs great on my Elf. I flashed the dutch rom and it works. It's a bit slow.
I changed the weatherlocation in Haarlem,Nederland and changed en into nl, works fine.
Is it possible to get some extra free memory?

you need to install TouchPal.CAB after you flashed the rom my guess is that when you install it pops up some message where you need to press ok.

unfurtunaly these kind of cabs can be a problem with UC
go to the uc forum in development and hacking I think someone there found a workaround for this.

and about powerof not working I'm looking for a solution.... it's a new bug so it's some think I added last because last week I had no problem turning of device.

Installed this rom on my Elf last evening and it works like a charm except for the phone function - it either freezes when I press the green button to bring up the dialer or refuses to dial, sometimes I can access call history and dial from there.

A short while back it refused to hang up after a call and I had to reset it.

Any idea why this happens? :confused:

Hello there! Going from using ThrottleLauncher plugin into this ROM that looks really great!
Sofar 2 problems for me. First is weather. I filled my city & region as written in first post, but my weather never update.. still only fog sign with question mark.. ok that's just a little problem.
But the HUGE PROBLEM is that I am not able to set up an exchange account :mad: . Is that just my bug or there is really some problem with exchange accounts in this ROM?? I need it in my job and never had problem setting it up in couple of ROM's i'we used..

And Gullum you're doing great job, this Launcher is really pretty impressive! I was sure I will stay with advanced battery status 4ever, but you made me change my mind with this :rolleyes:

edit: I only post this reply.. I didn't even restart PPC and exchange is available to be set.. I hate this "big brother matrix watching" tricks :)

I will try everything I can do make fixes for all bugs the ELF will be my main phone from now on becaue I like it better then Kaiser (that I will use for work only) so I want a realy fast, stable and functional rom... so there for shure will be version II III IV and on till I have a roms that fills my need to the fullest. but then something new will arive and I will start over again because I know WM 7 will come :D so for now I will try to find easy fixes to the bugs reported .. so expect some cabs or zip files soon... I'll aplay them in next release.

I have a very slow reaction on the buttons 'next message' & 'previous message' and also on the music-tab...

Is there a way in the ThrottleLauncher config, to tell the TL that I want to surf on the web with Opera instead Iexplore and when I click on a photo that it opens with Camera Album instead of Imaging?

I also have the problem that a shutdown with the hardwarebutton doesn't work... It shuts down the Phone but not the device (= flight mode).

In your screenshot, you have a tab 'All Contacts', but I don't find it anywhere... Where is it gone to?

what you see is icontact, that is not included in throttle.
you can start it by push start->contacts

Thanks, I'll try if I don't like the memory usage. Testing the Dutch version tonight. Not being able to power off is not a deal breaker for me so I don't see a reason not to.

successfully changed the pagepool to 4mb and tryin it on ma touch right now. thankx gullum for ur hard work. u have made so many languages available to us. and i see the point it wil be quite some hard work again to change, upload these roms with diff. pagepool. its a nice turn actually, cos we get to try some hex editin ourselves. will post the performance in a while. :D

*as mentioned previously by one of the member, when i click the power button to turn OFF the device, and after 10s, the device goes to standby then starts again. so have to use the 'remove the battery for power off' method, which is not recommended.

It looks great.

Seeing how crammed it is and running your own RL setup i'm not going to say anything about performance.

Dialer is nice but i miss the DTMF sounds to give feedback.(Good thing it can be enabled)

In this rom i can understand your decision to set Close button to actually kill the app. The more memory for this Rom the better.

I need some time to play with it a little.

For those that are going Diamond crazy, this is the rom that will get you as close as you can get to that setup.

It's got Gullum's Lovebaby written all over it.

Haven't seen anyone else putting this much work emulating TouchFlo3D.

So before people start whining about the obvious, this is a rom for the WOW not the NOW kind of person.

Now some of you might think this is bitching, but i know Gullum knows better.

1. In Dialer >> Menu >> Smartdialer Options >> It doesn't start the SmartDialing Settings. (Turned of RL still the Same) But Smartdialing is of course working.
2. Long Press Power is doing the same here where it kills phone radio (sometimes also screen but not the phone)(Turned of RL still the Same)
Need to press Flight mode twice to get Radio back online again.
3. Starting Bluetooth Explorer does nothing... Turned on Bluetooth first, still the same. I like the File Explorer you Chose, haven't seen (used) this one. But i think it doesn't like to communicate with Bluetooth explorer.

Memory without RL Touchflo3d is at 23 free on 8MB PP.
I don't recommend 4 MP PP on a rom that is filled with loads of rextra's. (Haven't tried 6 MB)
Memory with RL running is at 18.5 free.

Like is said i'll play with it for a few days get my mind of off making all my OEM Packages Autoshortcut compliant.

It was a pre wm6.1 dll that did not have the Taskmanager icon but yours seams to have the taskmanager. It was shellres.96.dll to be precsie.

It's the only thing i can come up with. If it would have been the mycpl entry in the registry you propably allready checked that.

Yes it's posible the music tab controles WMP by default but can also control s2p and mortplayer I think with s2p you'll get albumcover

First, Thanks for fixing the power button bug. Works great. Another thing that i noticed was that I am getting cert errors and insufficient rights errors while installing cabs. ( to be perfectly honest I was installing a kaiser/hermes today plugin. I feel the speed is a bit too slow for my taste with the throttle launcher). Any ideas? Other things seems to install fine. Any ideas?

hi after a full 24 hours with the rom im kind of satisfied kind of not... throttle launcher is ok it still is buggy and laggy even with fps turned up to 20 for my taste... also for somereasons my contacts arnt coming up at all even when i try to add them directly to throttle plus there sms service is actually terrible because there isnt a button that lets you read the actual text message and reply to it in the same screen... bbut other than that its ok the keyboards are great the home screen is ok images is just plain to confusing to get working but its ok ill remove throttle and see how it works but i dont think itl work good due to the fact that windows stock contact manager is not part of the complete package you cant even accses it but for a first build its good... just my opinions

IF your running Blue Elves just pop the phone into Bootloader, check the SPL to be 1.1.111.000/0 and flash from bootloader.

but for some reason I can't get it to install, please can someone help me out with this ?

The reason why is because when I select contacts the list is blank, the only what to see a contact is to open the keypad and start typing the name or number to see that contact. I wish to have the contact list but I think that as that contacts are stored on the sim and not on the phone, the rom can't see them!!!

first of all, a big thanks for this ROM. I'm absolutely loving it. It might be a bit slow, but I can live with that. Just having to issues:

- First of all, I cannot get the build in camera album o find my pictures. I've tried everything (Schaps configuration tool to set the correct path, etc), but the app still tells me "No pictures found". I have my pictures on the storage card under "DCIM\100MEDIA". Any idea on how to solve this??

- Is there a way to have the contacts page start iContact automaticcaly? I do not have any contact pics and prefer to manage the contaxts with iContact.

In Comm Manager (one of the last tabs), you can activate/deactivate certain things like bluetooth, wifi, etc...

But you don't see if it's turned on or not... Is it possible to change the background or foreground color of the button so you can see which is on/off?

If I put in "Amsterdam, Netherlands" New York remains......:confused:

go to config, change, save, and reset, turn on the wifi and reload the weather....should be fine after that...

First of al a great rom. I tried something because i font the trottlelauncher so slow and replaced it with htc home an now its very fast and i have 26mb(4mb pagepool) of free programme space. Trottle looks nicer but it is to slow.
I also have the problem with poweroff and camera album. No solution yet.
Buth man you did a great job and put a lot off time in it. Thank u:D

Okay, I finally flashed it (Dutch version) to my Touch last night. I tried the night before but it wouldn't work no matter what I tried. That was probably more a case of bad luck than anything else though. My first impression is that it's a very nice rom. No low memory warnings or stability issues. TL is not the fastest app on the Touch's limited hardware but it works quite well. iContact and Opera built-in is great.

Unfortunately, I have some issues. I can't get the power button fixed. I tried copying the file to the Windows folder but it won't accept it, even with GSFinder+. The other issue is more annoying and a bit weird. I backed-up all my messages and call logs like I do everytime. I also put them back like always but my sms messages are not in Outlook. The weird and annoying part is that I know they have to be there. The sms tab of TL shows 529 messages so there is something and the call logs were restored properly as well.

The final issue for now is the Music tab with S2P. I love S2P despite some shortcomings but it doesn't work well together. Music plays, album art shows and S2P can be controlled. The art always stays the same however, also in S2P. That makes using S2P and files with artwork a bit pointless. I realize though that the problem could be in S2P.

Thanks for a great rom in many languages. I hope some of the remaining issues can be worked out but this is already one of the nicest roms I've used.

Because Simmanager is allready in ROM and sometimes overwriting a file in ROM with a CAB file simply does not work.

Wich version of Simmmanager is that? and which version is Gullum using?

Because Patrick hasn't updated that first post in quite a while.

(i sometimes specificly make a cab file not to overwrite a newer file BTW)

I've just find the problem why I can't activate the threaded SMS!
I have SmileySMS 1.62 installed on my ELF, after disabling this the threaded SMS worked perfekt. :D

But I like the animated Smileys on the screen, is there a way to show these in combination with threaded SMS?
Maybe with a older version of SmileySMS or a similar programm?

Sorry man, the rom looks very nice but it's so slow on my ELF I really can't use it, I tried to remove the thortlelauncher, but when I go to the delete programs thing, it won't even start. Looks like the icon is dead..

Now I am forced to reflash my device...The problem is that my activesync won't work :) So now I can't flash the USPL...Hopefully I figure out what causes it.

So this rom is really eyecandy, just not usable for me..

Great looking rom, but it's soooo slowwwwww.. Even with the CPU clocked to 270 it is too slow for use. The menu looks great but it isn't as user friendly as I hoped. I would have preferred the rom to be fairly "bare".. No Opera, Youtube, or any other add-ins.. (Except for Threaded SMS and Regedit). It is a great first version though.. Look forward to your other work.

A Hard reset seems to have fixed this but I'm still trying. I couldn't send and receive any messages yesterday. After a soft reset TL would show 2 messages from my girlfriend but outlook not. Very weird. Hope this fixed it for real because I like this rom.

Everything seems to work pretty well now and not slow either. I encountered one problem that I would love to see fixed though. I can't add any words to the xt9 dictionary. the fianle release of Throttle Diamond I multi language is here finaly

This is CE OS 5.2.19213 (Build 19213)

remember that you need to USPL before flashing these roms.

When divice is costumizing it will look like it's stuck instaling diamond.tsk just wait it can take around 1 minute

What to do first: (Setting up ThrottleLauncher)
1. After final flash synch all you contact etc. with outlook or restore
2. set up you email acount (but only if you use email)
3. install any soft you haven't installed with UC
4. start Throttleconfig and chooses TFlo3D if not chosen then press config
5. now go to weather tab and type in you town and country

Changed to 18M pagingpool and overclock to 263Mhz, working fine, the speed is acceptable, but found that HTC Album can't open pictures in SD card (\Storage Card\DCIM\100MEDIA\), and some third party program got black block at the tool menu, mostly and the low left corner, you can press to show the tool menu, but a little difficult to use !please see the attached picture.

i am using your flash in an elf, and just to let u know, in my case:
1.- when u attempt to power off it says the message about lose your data turns off and restart (not start booting again, only restarts in today sreen) with phone off.
2.- if you select to lock with a pin, (5 min or 1 hour), after i did it it doesnt display the caller id when recieving a call, only after you answer youre able to see the number.
3.- after 5 days of using it, today i made a hard reset 5 times cause i had signal, lost calls display etc but i wasnt able to use the phone( pressing send button or start/phone) no answer even after 3 hard reset only after 5 times it started working again.

this is my expirience, maybe my poor knowledge lead me here, but just to let u know the issues

I had the same problem with the Shadow ROM... The only problem is that your backlight stands on 'very dark'

Go to your settings en change the backlight back to bright...

(After a hard reset it gives you light... When the powercable is in, it gives you light because these settings weren't changed... Except when you're working on batteries it goes dark en stays that way.)

Can any one test the attached file on this rom. (i'm not running Gullums Rom to Test)

Rename the .txt to .lnk (extension will then dissapear)

And drop the file into Windows folder.

Then Long Press Power to see if it works no Garantees untill it's tried.

This is to test if the Command parameter that is hardcoded into the Long Press of the power button is giving the correct one.
(if possible first test without the new Poweroffwarning.exe suplied by Gullum, then with the new .Exe)

In het Throttlelauncher config, you can configure your height... If you press full screen, you shouldn't see a bottom line...

Can you check which ipl and SPL you have in bootloader mode?
And try to download international version and use the Update Utility from there.

Would also be good to know which exact phone you have.
Good thing to have in signature so you don't need to retype it when needed;)

Install the search plug in in my siganture.

I still getting the message:"out of memory......", and the program will quit then.

Is this a problem with my page pool? I tried to increase it to 8, 12 even 16 with a page pool changer else on this forum still no difference, I also see no change between my storage/programs.

To prevent out of memory you need to lower the PP not increase it.

ok I finaly got the Prophet roms uploaded it took me some time because my prophet is getting close to it's final flash and looses connection with usb all the time.
Anyway I'm back working on next version for Elf and Kaiser and maybe Nike (depends on the mood of my girlfriend ) and all elf roms will be 4 mb Page Pool from now on and the new version of Throttle is flying now and is verry much inproved.

and I'm sorry that I haven't been verry active in the Elf forum

Ok I Follower the instruction I have found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2379552&postcount=615
But now the Trottlelauncher says me: "Error while loading the plugin.Please ensure you have installed themes and that they're properly assignedt o the today plugin..."

Does the Update Utility say that it is going to update to a ROM with version "1.00.000.0". I've noticed that Error 328 is common whenever version number 1.00.000.0 is used. Try to extract the ROM's OS.nb using nbhextract.exe, then re-build it with htcrt.exe using a higher version number (e.g. 3.00.000.0).

the fianle release of Throttle Diamond I multi language is here finaly

This is CE OS 5.2.19213 (Build 19213)

remember that you need to USPL before flashing these roms.

When divice is costumizing it will look like it's stuck instaling diamond.tsk just wait it can take around 1 minute

What to do first: (Setting up ThrottleLauncher)
1. After final flash synch all you contact etc. with outlook or restore
2. set up you email acount (but only if you use email)
3. install any soft you haven't installed with UC
4. start Throttleconfig and chooses TFlo3D if not chosen then press config
5. now go to weather tab and type in you town and country
6. now go to the email tab change Acticesync to the name of your acount ( it is case sensetive so if acount is Gullum it want display any info if you type gullum)
7. optional in General tab choose and arange what pages to show.
8. press save then exit on the default throttle config page choses reload plugin

this can also be done later but this will get you familuare with the config app

the music page can controll WMplayer,S2P and Morthplayer

Yes I'm still working on the rom but it will prob just be WWE because it's to time consuming to upload all versions for all devices and I'm getting a Herald and a Wizard too so that makes it 6 devices with 12 roms and no donations not realy motivating :D so I'll stick with WWE for next versions of Throttle Diamond

All the roms have the power of bug :( this has throttle launcher withs is the closest you'll get to ThouchFLO3D without buying the Diamond or Raphael

yes it has the 0.9.3 version and I've made the skin to fit with showing the softkeys by default.

I have flashed the german rom. When i changed the music config to s2p player, they doesnt work. the path to s2p.exe is correct.

the next problem, in the weather page is no forecast

Your first problem can be solved as such:

go device\program files\ThrottleLauncher\Setups\TFlo3d\

copy config.xml to pc, open it with notepad and change the information yourself in notepad to s2p for player type. then copy the file back to your mobile phone. That should fix it

As for the weather forcast, with diamond throttle, alot of the catagories like weather, calendar, etc, you can swipe the screen from right to left and it'll change to weather forcast for example.

If I go to Start > Messaging I only have "SMS" and not "SMS/MMS". What's wrong? How can I *add* MMS settings? I googled and I just found Windows Mobile 5.0/6.0 tricks or settings to be changed...

I wanted to flash this rom, which seems to be a bit older. at the moment, i have a TOUCH OF HD on my phone. Why can't i flash the older rom? Can you post the entire Error number and error message?

The reason may be that you have to downgrade to a USPL instead of the Hard SPL (I've noticed that older ROMs cannot be flashed when a Hard SPL is present). Anyways, please reply with the exact error.

Now the phone doesn't start, it shows "smart mobility" and then off again...

Apparently, I've got the same issue.
The message error is : ERROR[328] : "Invalid command"

IPL : 2.21.0002
SPL : 2.26.0000

I tryed to downgrade the USPL with this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=320155) but unfortunatly, it doesn't work.

Try using Total Commander instead to overwrite the file.

for problems during flashing..check if your downloaded RUU(Rom Update Utility) was alrt or not you cld try downloading it again n try flashing again! have you unlocked the CID of ur phone-updated the USPL i.e? u need to do tht to flash custom ROM first! Read through the first page of this thread for more how-tos & FAQs abt this ROM and about your Error 328 its listed in the common errors where i told you to search!
