upgrading for beginners

hello,

i'm new at this and i would like your help with upgrading my p3300.
i 've looked around in this forum but i still can't upgrade my artemis.
i've downloaded touch 4.02 with cube and Tom-Oops-Black-v1.0-WWE.
when i launch those apps they will not work. no connection, corrupt file. those are the things i get. the program is terminated.

what am i doing wrong.

You have to CID unlock first and is better you take of your SD card also.

hi,
thx for the answer.
i've Artemis_Touch_4.02_Full_with_4_sided_cube.

i've done the unlocking, the unlocking is step 1, then the rom.
it seems ok, but nothing happend, my device looks the same.
the rom runs untill the end and nothing happend.

do i have to reboot, (it happend automatic).
anyting else?

The rom goes until the end of step 2 or the step 1?
The step 1 is for CID unlock only.
You have to turn on your phone with active sync first.
After CID unlock (step 1) you won't see the difference except in your boot where it says "SPL". That version should be like this : "1.11.000".
After this you connect to active sync again and run step 2.

Desculpa este pedido de inf em portugues, mas estive a reler os posts todos de upgrades de Roms e tenha algumas duvidas e gostaria da opinião de um português :)
Tenho o HTC P3300 premium PT comprado na fnac no ano passado, e fiz o tal upgrade para WM6 oficial no site da HTC no ultimo ano. Até aqui tudo bem, no entanto, ando tentado a instalar uma ROM cozinhada dessas que andam aqui no forum, já com o Radio recente e montes de aplicações importantes e xpto, mas estou com receio em relação a esse processo, muito por culpa dos posts do ppl que tentou e não tem conseguido por causa de um prob do USPL durante esse processo ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311403 ).
Agora dá me a tua opinião, já que me pareces ser um portugues bem informado nestas lides :)
Achas que vale a pena o upgrade e as complicações são muitas vezes prob dos proprios users, ou é mesmo uma sorte conseguir fazer o upgrade sem problemas? E já agora qual a ROM cozinhada que aconselhas a colocar (nao tem de ser em PT pode ser ingles)?

Wich ROM did you flashed?
Touch flo is for scroling up and down in pages for example.
What you want is Cube.
