i am selling my Wing to a business lady tonight. right now i have touch it's 9.2 rom which i love but it wont suit her. the buttons are off even with duprades key fix and the spacebar lags and the rom freezes sometimes. i just need a fast stable small rom for her. all i need is HTC home and Opera and iContact which i can install all seperately. so does anyone know the most stable/user friendly rom? QUICK! =p thanks! oh and it must be a Wing rom not a herald...i dont like the keyboard fix it makes my keys lag.

I would say Open Touch 5.2 Org. Just like the standard T-Mobile ROM but with 6.1, It was pretty fast and really stable for me.

I wouldnt do papas rom its more of an advance rom. I would go with open touch 5 org rom. I think that is the closest to the original you can get. Or go with one of the open touch lite roms if you want more room.

If you want it clean just use Just2Clean (60+ Mb free)by Ivan and add .net cf3.5 and a calculator. It's fast, stable, and that way she won't get anything she doesn't want on it.

If she is a little techie point her to XDA and Freeware PocketPC (http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/) Everything she could want and more.

If you are selling the phone, sell it with OEM soft and OS.

Otherwise, you are crossing the line of making a profit of the cook's work in this forum.

And their cost is very high....

Take your wing and revert it back to OEM spec. (My Opinion)

im not making money off selling the rom in any way guys lol. i put an ad on my local craigslist for my wing...i said its overclocked and has a custom rom running much more stable and faster than the normal wing thats all. i think it'd be messed up to revert back to stock rom before i sold it...and they would probably end up taking it back to me =p

There is nothing wrong with the original rom. It works fine if the pagepool size is fixed. In fact if you update the new TMO rom, then that's basically taken care of.

i just tried the original rom out today for the first time in like a year lol...compared to open touch...it is SO wrong. even overclocked at 286 it was soooo slow compared to 249 on open touch.

Take her back to the official and original tmob rom... if something goes wrong she can always knock on their door. Besides that, she can't blame you having it wrecked with a cooked rom when she ruins her device herselves.
