Bluetooth GPS problems

I got a a Leadtek Bluetooth GPS reciever from my uncle along with a dopod 818 and have a couple issues with the pair.

The phone can't find the GPS anymore (I recently deleted the connection from the phone) due to flight mode being on. How do I turn off flight mode?

Another problem that I am having is once connected, the gps does not seem to do anything when I use Windows Live Search centering on the GPS. What do I have to do to make it work properly.

to set off flight mode simply click on the antenna icon, and after this the turn off flight mode message.

also, make sure you have a sim in to turn off flight mode!! have you got tomtom, using tomtom allows you to set up a connection pairing the bluetooth gps device with your phone, from what I remember it was serial 4.
