Hi everyone... I'm using a tilt, I don't have any cooked firmware, just official stuff released by HTTC (unless using the skin HTC Home 2.1 counts as cooked)

I just installed Tom Tom and I have two problems. The main one is that when I touch the icon on the touch screen it doesn't launch, all I get is an error beep (but no error message). It launches fine from the start menu but clearly having it work from the today screen is better.

Also, the software didn't come with any voices, I was able to download my free local map with no issue and found a satellite signal... but I have no turn my turn directions with no voice selected. Where can I install voices?

Thanks everyone, I've had this phone for months now and I'm just now starting to get the hang of installing cab files and installing programs to this phone. Its easier than I thought, but I'm at a brick wall right now it seems....

You can search for voices here in this forum and there are plenty of free ones floating around.

To fix your tomtom from you today screen from being launched you may want to try a new version of htc home if you don't already have it.

I downloaded TomTom Home and got some voices instaled pretty easily. I thought I was using the latest version of HTC Home 2.1 Is there a newer one I'm not aware of, or a patch? I know I had to patch the brightness button not working earlier.
