Hi tom! Is it possible in you rom to remap this key? I'd like to have the camera instead of the com manager when I hold the phone key.
But it seems that in the lite roms (old FRA for me and in the new GER) we can't remap it, changes don't take effect even if I do a soft reset, this key seems to be "locked". It would be nice if we could change it ;)

I LOVE this rom! After intensive testing, and main phone usage over the last week or so.. I have had NO freezeups, and only one small bug has been found.... but something that is baffling me!

So...

when you use the volume rocker, and reduce the volume, and then turn it up again, it loses max volume parameter.

for instance.. normal soft reset volume is 100% Lower the volume level to vibrate, then increase it again. It shows max%, but only gives out about 90%.. repeat and it only pumps out around 80% of max volume, eventually it stops giving out sound completely. Only a soft reset helps!

I agree with your impressions on this Rom, but I do not understand why you do not have the same bugs than me!
Diamond also at SFR, even Rom (v2 lite) and you don't have the problem of Phone dialer and contacts?

i believe ive found another bug though im not entirely sure; Opera is no longer the default browser, when i open a link from the RSS hub it auto launches Pocket IE and not opera.

Does anyone solve this issue? Using PIE after knowing Opera 9.5 is pain in the ass.

that's it, I flashed with the 2.1

several findings:
1-contacts appear now, it is ok but under the old interface not that of Diamond with research by letter on the side!
2-Part DialerPhone bug always, it does not appear?
3-and also, on re rocking to the Os out: CE 5.2.19591 (build 19951.1.1.6), 113.32 MB memory !
(and Rom 1.93.456.2 FRE / radio 1.00.25.05)

I find it even slower than v2!
you encounter the same problem as me or not?

Dutty / Tom many many thanks for you work on this rom. I've run the full version for some days and then sticked to the localized lite (italian) and I can say so far it is a very very good job. I've a few things to say, and I hope my message is more useful of the half in this thread (really, you should avoid useless post. It became hard to read 80 page of "the graphic isn't centered" and other sillness):

- No issues with wi-fi has someone said.
- Italian version does not open the contact list with left button from manila (I've installed the colored version)
- No issues in battery drain (tough I've the feeling phone get hotter than with the stock rom .. but I think it's not possible :D )
- I like the manila color very much. It's perfect and the non-centered glass is the cherry on the cake
- Could it be possible to have a more clear first post ? Maybe putting the dates near the download links and leaving the old release (just as text, not hyperlinks). It would be much better just only with the dates.

I have two questions:

1)
there are no "up" resp. "Menu" soft keys visible in my main program folder and its sub folders. The lower menu bar is just simply black.
Is this only on my TD? Any tweaks on that?

2)
there is no SMS/MMS account to see in my Messaging > Menu > Tools > Options. Therefore I am not able to make the adjustment: check/uncheck the delivery notification. Anyone has the same problem? Any solutions what could have happened here?

Radio .11 is the Radio which BePe provided to Tom which he posted in the Diamond Radio thread.

Well, as Bepe also said the .11 Radio still has issues.
On the DP V2 Rom, I noticed hat Teeter freezes before even a 5th round.
Flashing back to Radio .05 solved this and the issue could not be replicated anymore, so pretty sure it is the .11 Radio.
If someone could be so gentle to confirm, it might avoid problems in the future

Just downloaded the unsigned HardSPL, copied your rom in the folder and executed the ramupdateutility.exe... Everything looks fine except it hangs at 0 percent...

No you can not! That's if you don't want to turn your phone into a useless brick ;)

You can never flash a ROM for one device to another different device due to hardware incompatibility.

If .06 is working fine for you, I wouldn't change. If it is not I would first try .11 which is of course the newest. That one is working fine for me, although several people mentioned they have been experiencing freezes.

Yep, I was about to ask the same, is confusing. In general all the links for these ROMs are messy, one never knows which one should download. The page linked in post #1 do not even contain more than a few ROMs for other languages.

The author should do some cleanup IMO :)

Just flashed this rom and loving it!

Changed the radio back to .05 as .06 was all over the place with my 3 UK, although it seemed to get a better signal it was changing frm H to 3G alot before it decided to drop to G. The only let down I am getting with mydiamond is a lack of decent 3G reception. My N95 did alot better :(

Only thing I am not keen on is the start up with the love hearts :S

For the next realease would it be possible to include auto shutdown of active sync when d/c from pc please?

Your problem is more like a bug settings, look in the settings. Perso, the net connexion was set to SFR Net and therefore it is abonement accordingly, I spent the setting wap SFR and that is ok

Oui. Globalement cela fonctionne bien. Rien à voir avec l'APN - suis chez Mobistar / Orange Belgique -. Sans doute un souci dans la version d'IE embarquée. En WiFi ou en 3G, même problème : les champs ne peuvent être complétés.

Nothing to do with APN. Sounds like fields can't be filled in using HTC Keyboard in IE (Opera OK).

i use diamond project V2 for about 24 hours without any other problem.

Now i'm working on a personali "lite" version with some unuseful things removed and another "nostalgia" version with "old" polaris cube... so i'm flashing my devie about 2 times every day... :)

This doesn't look good. Did you try a hard reset? Did you have this issue with other roms? If so, maybe it's hardware. Something with the graphics accelerator?
I had something like that on my normal PC with the Aero Glass zooming effects of Vista. It turned out to be my graphics card which was getting to hot.

boys... ur contacts have gone to heaven, cuz if u havent backed them up they r gone, when u flash ur phone u actually hard reset it at the same time...

LOL, no its not my problem I have the contacts via active sync np.
But when I push the button contacts nothing happends :(.
atm the only way to call a contact is if im adding them to favourite and call them that way.

I've flashed the Lite GER Version and added the Manila colour theme. Great ROM, much faster and smoother than my original 1.37 HTC ROM.

The only strange behaviour I noticed so far: When calling, sometimes the dialer messes up the screen. Will post as soon as I'm able to describe it better. Need to figure that out first...

ti sbagli, devi scaricare la versione ITA, torna alla prima pagina e clicca sul link corrispondente, occhio che da quello che ho letto questa rom ha dei problemi nella gestione dei contatti ;)

it's the normal behavior, when you call someone the screen goes off due to the proximity sensor... your face near the screen ;) but this is a good thing because battery is really precious, you can't look the screen if your phone is near your ear (are u able perhaps?? :D ) anyway if you don't like there is a tweak to prevent screen off during a call.

tip: when the screen is off (during a call) you can turn again on just pressing one time the standby button (upper button)

Actually that's not what I'm referring to :) I know about this functionality.
What I meant is more like: You go to the dialer (by pressing the Call-Button), then I select a name from the Contacts. After that the Phone starts dialing, but the screen seems to freeeze on the contact selection and there are just a few sections refreshing. It's really weird. Will try again as soon as I'm out of the office. Maybe it was just an one-time bug :D

after bElite's ROM I just wanted to give this one (I downloaded Ruu_Signed_DiamProject_V2_5.2.19965_GER.zip.zip) a try...
but after starting the RUU it sticks at 0% after the three color screen :( After ~10 Minutes it says Error 262: Update Error. I got Unsigned HardSPL installed and tried 3 times for now :( Couldnt find my fault... does anyone has an idea? Help appreciated :)

I'm currently using the V2.1 Lite FRE, and it's the faster rom i ever used. Is the V3 available in FRE ?

I just have some problems with the dialer... i love the original dialer (usefull buttons if you have to see contacts etc while calling). Is possible to install a CAB of the HTC Dialer on your rom ?

Hi guys,

Love the ROM, just downloading it now.

Does anyone know how to disable the incoming call screen as per HTC's default? Reason I ask is because I use S2U2 and have it set to slide to answer. Unfortunately when an incoming call comes in the incoming call screen moves itself on top of the S2U2 unlock screen which defeats the purpose of locking the phone to prevent accidental answering or ignoring calls.

since today I'm proud owner of the Diamond.

I updated it with the "OliNex138signed" and try now to update it with "Ruu_Signed_DiamProject_V2_5.2.19965_GER.zip".
I have only this *.nbh and the "DiamonCustomRUU.exe" in the folder...start the "DiamonCustomRUU.exe", follow the instruction... but it hold on at 0%.

What is the problem, what I do wrong ? Both are signed !
My original version was 1.37.162.2

now:

MicroP-Diam (LED) v11

There was a problem about the alarm, the alarm doesnt repeat althought i check the repeat icon.

I have this problem too! Great ROM, but unfortunately no good for me if my phone can't wake me up in the morning :(

Basically my alarms just don't sound properly. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't, but I can't figure out circumstances.

What I know for sure:
I reboot my phone every night (SPB Backup).

1. If the alarm sounds and I snooze, it does not sound again even though I get a display on the screen.
2. If one alarm goes off and I cancel it, the next alarm (say alarm 2 or alarm 3 etc) does not sound, but I get the display on the screen.
3. Sometimes I just get the display on the screen and no alarm sound, even from the first alarm.

Please help! I am getting late for work ^_^

I had this issue before with some roms on t-mobile, so I when I removed the proxy option in connection setup ,then it starts working without any problem.This solution worked in some other roms, may be you can try on this one.
