Well this is my first Rom for Diamond working beside Tom on the Diamond project Team so for the First Rom is much like the Official Release but with newer APPS. Also with this Rom you will get a new Build and all latest APPS available which are listed below. I will be working on Full ROMs for Diamond and Tom will be working on Lite ROMs. So have a happy flashing and I will be awaiting your Feedbacks.

ROMs' will be available in Full by Me and Lite ROMs by Tom.

Process:
1. Hard Reset (set up initial settings, connect to provider, its a total of two reboots iirc)
2. Change registry setting (HKLM\System\Versions Aku set to .0.4.2)
3. Soft Reset
4. Change Device ID to any value (Settings->System->About->Device ID)
5. Soft Reset
6. Install BBConnect 4.0.0.97 via device browser from http://wiki.xda-developers.com/themes/default/images/http.pnghttp://www.america.htc.com/mobile/connect/8925/ (http://www.america.htc.com/mobile/connect/8925/)
7. Installation reboots system
8. Disable 3G connection, force to use EDGE via wireless connection manager
9. Device receives PIN, activates, etc..
10. Enable 3G connection
Notes: 1. So i dont know if items 2,3,4, and 5 were really required.. after preliminary testing, everything works fine with the 3g connection turned on after initial registration.
2. I noticed that the BBConnect Today icon kept showing an exclamation mark indicating its outgoing connection was being blocked. Also the status window kept showing that the connection was suspended by the user, when i never did anything.. so i tired disabling the 3G and sure enough.. problem solved..
Hope this saves someone out there the headache i've been going through.. oh well.. back to the girlfriend who i've been ignoring for the last 10 hours... (hopefully im not in that much trouble )

All new builds over 5.2199 are beta builds there are not necessarily better than the official ones, I was planning to release a 5.2.2 build but wasnt impressed with it with diamond, :)

Duttythroy - Dude - I'm on it :cool: download of both just finished - I've tried the AKU registry changes etc on every Rom Stock and Cooked so far but with no success? Worked a dream on Kaiser and Dual??? Walshieau tells me there may be some Hex editing required as well? That parts beyond me. I'll feedback later this evening.

I think it'd be a good idea to include it in your roms. Then again, it's just a suggestion. I'm just stating its usefulness.

I'll try your ROM on my second diam. Any info as to benchmarks?

For future releases: I'd also suggest you make detailed changelogs available. That'd save a lot of questions in the thread.

Yes, it is possible to activate the umlaut letters in this rom:
Start -> Settings -> Input -> Input Method : Compact QWERTY for example -> Options -> Language : German :D

And Done.

unfortunately we can use the default dialer of wm6 phones, without video calling, but 10mb ram is really more useful. So, I thought lets use this tweak rather than daimond dailer.:)

i have the same problem and posted a screenshot ;) its just a small bug, overal its a very fast rom. it feels faster as other roms i tried so far.

oh im using build 19960, going to try the other windows build now. it looks like it doesnt change the clock back to 12 hours when i set it to english US. can anyone confirm this?

The start animation is realy nice :)

I don't need TomTom in the Rom, I use TomTom that came with the Diamond from O2 it is on the Internal Storage, so no problem.

I'm working on this bug now, i will do some research for now its a minor bug with this release, also HSDPA NOT enabled by default need to enabled in advance connectons in this rom

have you flashed the un-signed hardspl made by olinex. link in post 1 of this thread, if yes, try and restart ur pc and try again

Hi just flashed this. This rom is the BEST ROM available at the moment for the DIAMOND. Thank You Dutty.

I have the same problem as others. The network name is on top of the date and the AM/PM thing is messed. I do not care about the time thing. But the Network name on top of the date is really annoying. Is there any way to solve this?

Loaded the ROM, I think it still needs to be tweeked, also can you do an option for the original look on the TFLO3D as well as the splash/boot. The pictures freeze after every two flicks as well.

Well, glad to see that the first ROM's are out and I hope that DP Team will further get all support from us to stay on-board.

As most of you are flashing the latest AKU, and no comparison exisit with the 593, I ll flash that one and post some findings in the next days.

I learned that it is simply premature to shout "WOW- FAST" after 5 minutes of playing around after flashing. No offence newbies. :p

My focus will be on TF3D, GSEN and Boiringer66 integration in the DP ROMS's.

Too bad that Apptodate was not considered to be included, but maybe we'll get this in next releases, same as a reg tweka to use another Media player also for A2DP support? :cool:

The first one is the Carrier identification missing on the GUI.

Related to this, it seems that there is a language issue, see screenshot below.
I flasjhed from clean stock 1.35 after de-install of TLR2.
Hard resetted after asking for set-up and no new soft installed.

Like the approach on the Icons, dislike the little hearts welcome screen popping up ......so "Girly" :p .
My GF (with limited phone knowledge) even thought I received an MMS from someone else :p:p:p

Nice rom, gay ass start up hearts image lol, clock is abit on the boring side.

HTC startup intro (the video on how to use touchflo3d) can be removed. weve all seen it, especially if were flashing a rom it means weve seen it from original rom.

Touchflod3d theme is nice, graphics are abit choppy on the top bar, the blue tint doesnt match well with black...looks washed out.

Programs buttons look appauling, horrible blue border.

Just my thoughts guys, no harm intended.

Its great to see fast roms and people trying to change things up abit, great work.

Well... if you would have started reading through thread and finding post 113 also, than you would know that the Carrier - name -logo is not ,partly or unrecognizable visible.

Let's see if we can fix this through som Advanced config tweaking and if not, wait for a new release V2 ...

Difference is 19593.1.1.7 is a true diamond build and build 5.2.19960.1.2.2 is from a raphael build ported to diamond, for v2 There should also probably be a new build :)

according to my results 19563 seems faster, also in VSBenchmark.

I've encountered a strange issue with push mail... It won't stay connected to exchange server unless I also set "Off-peak time" to "as items arrive" in activesync schedule (of course I verified that peak-time is set correctly)...

Is there anything i can do to fix problem with my instant messager some roms does it and some dont. Beejive says System.TypeLoadException and IMplus typing box disappear when keyboard opens. Are is there instant messager that workd better with this roms. Im using 19960.1.2.2 build. Thanks

Great news about the update Dutty and Tom:)
I'm more a reader than writer but one thing caught my attention, when I used the Lite version of the ROM (I've tried both) for some reason i cannot get rid of "Swisscom" connections settings. Deleting them has no effect, those swiss connections settings show up again.
No big problem, i try to ignore them and disabled them in the Advanced Config tool:)

No worries Guys, touchflo back to HTC default as we cannot fixed in new touchflo 24 hour time as yet, because its a bug in beta build, With the new touchflo which is in the rom the speed is absolutely amazing even faster that last one:)

hey what does everyone think of the new interface, i notice that it now does not have the flip down clock, does that mean there is no animation when you access the home screen, coz i quite liked the way the clock flips down on the home screen, the speed improvement is good news tho, may flash to this in the next few days if feed back is still good :)

The ROM is nothing but exccellent. Speed is fantastic, the ROM moves fast not only in otuchflo but in the rest of the OS and programs as well. I have only one request:

Can you make a manila with the Shiny tabs you have in version 1 but on version 2. The Original manila with the glowing shining tabs on the touchflo. If aq cab is possible great, if it takes some work ill send over a danation for the time. Thanks man.
